We had the pleasure of Meeting Kent and Shannon a couple months ago when we travelled from the UK to the US! I cannot stress enough how nice, hardworking and good people they are ! he is the same off camera as he is on ! a true gentleman ! and they made us feel so welcome !!

Don't know mich about faith or religion but do know about dogs. God's cruelist joke on humans was to make dog's lives way too short. I watch Kent Rollins and I miss The Beag myself. I have lost so many 4 legged best friends myself.

Kent is the real deal. A true cowboy gentleman who exemplifies humility and integrity. He and Shannon are two of my favorite UA-camrs and I’ll always cherish their videos.
The man is a national treasure he is. They are such a great couple.
Shannon is the behind the scenes tech and support, making the videos possible, so Kent's cooking can really shine. They just lost the Beag a short while ago and it broke my heart. Love them and their dogs.

My son and mom were diagnosed with cancer within in 2 years of each other Mom passed a few months ago. My son is doing well. Watching Kent and Shan were a reprieve from a tremendous stress. What a beautiful couple… full of kindness, faith, and love for country! God bless always!

My first cast iron dutch oven and had no clue . Looking on UA-cam for some help , i came across Kent . Best decision i made and never looked at another cast iron cooking video . Kent has save me from cooking mistakes many times . 10 years now i think and still watching Kent . Thanks cowboy .

I have watched and enjoyed everything Kent, Shannon, the Beag (RIP) and the entire Rollins crew has done. What a great channel and the cooking is amazing.
These two are some of my favorite human beings. Fell in love with these two long time back and what a journey. This is America y'all. From The flag that always flies over the site it has a a story. Beag is heart break of a lost part of that family, and saddened us all. Not enough words or too much. love y'all.

I remember Kent going in for surgery some time ago. He asked for prayers to help him through it, but I don't remember what exactly it was for.
They made such a big deal about and even went into detail on Shannon’s face book.. lol wow.. I believe kent but what a fabrication.. 😅 And than another viewer and fan brung it up 2 posts back.. weird.

I've been watching Kent for only a couple months, but I really like him. The food is delicious and the friendly family atmosphere of the show, including all the "mutlings" makes me feel nice. I love the way he always takes off his hat and thanks all the veterans and the big hug at the end. I always feel like I'm there, hanging out with them and proud to be part of this country . Just found this back story on Kent and Shannon. Very heart warming indeed. I think Kent has become an icon of Cowboy Culture and sets n example for those who wish to follow their dreams. Excellent Bio... I'm a relative newcomer to Kent's channel, I had no idea of his life-threatening encounter. That makes him even more of a treasure to appreciated and cherished. Bless you Cowboy, Shannon and all of the 4 legged "taste testers".
Was it though? "...they are a few years a part in age." Naw, they are a generation apart. Nothing wrong with their age difference, but he is old enough to be her dad. So, I would say it's more than just a few years difference.
Notice how many pictures have Beag in them. You can see why his passing hit them hard, even making a whole video dedicated "to the best dog in the world, yes he is".

I use his seasoning EVERY day. He’s the best.
They are amazing people. When my wife passed away a few years back Kent took the time to personally call me and give his respects. Was mighty kind of him and I wont forget that......and on age...my wife was 14 years older than me...age matters not. I thought they were both 29 anyways *wink*.
If you're in love, age absolutely doesn't matter. My wife calls herself a cradle robber and I tell people I married an older women and that way I don't need to have as much life insurance. Mary says she married me so she'd have someone to get things off the top shelf. Having a sense of humor is as vital to a relationship as being able to cook.
I have lost count of how many of Mr. Rollins I have made. I love these two and I sure miss “The Beag” RIP old Beag.

We over here in Arkansas love Kent and Shannon. They have been a life long inspiration for a lot of our kids. And we thank them for that.
This story is definitely heartwarming. With the story, travel, and knowledge he has is old school It's still work today. The story he can tell must be amazing. He love his country,his veteran and helping his neighbors. There isn't much men out there like him. God broke the mold when he was made. I wish he tell more on how tell weather old school cowboy way. That would be helpful today. Because I learn so much from watch his youtube channel. Thanks you for bringing your knowledge and passion to teach other. I was curious about this after seeing your post. I do so much love to watch Kent dance when he has a good tasting food item. I have tried some of his recipes, most of them are really good. Some of the others need a bit of adjustment to suit me. I hope that he continues to heal and cook such wonderful food!
