Kent, I just wanted to write and let you know that my Mother passed away December 29th, 2021 after a 6 week battle with COVID 19 Pneumonia. She was 60 years old. She began watching you a few years ago. Her name was Christina L. Kuhn. She subscribed to you and she watched you all the time on the big screen in the living room. She loved your videos and she was a huge fan of you. So, Im her Son, Rodney Kuhn. And I just had to write and let you know that. She was a devout Christian and I know shes in a better place than we are. But, she loved to cook and she got a lot of inspiration from you and the videos that you put out. So Im very thankful for your videos. My Mom thought the world of you. :)

Mr. Kent reminds me of a cook we had at a trucking company in Colorado many years ago. We had a bunkhouse like in the old cowboy days. We had a good cook too, he'd carry a gun in his pocket, and he wasn't afraid to use it. He was a trip! One thing I've learned in my life is to don't give cooks a hard time especially good cooks, may be hazardous to your health, lol.

These chilli dogs look so delicious! I have covid at the moment and can't really taste anything but as soon as I'm well again, this is one of the first things I'm going to cook for the family. God bless and keep safe!

I will make these. I have never had a chili dog I did not ruin a shirt with by chili dripping on it. Thank you so much. Give all the four legged dogs a pet for me and a " hi" to Shannon. The chili looked thick but not dry. Glad you use Dukes, it is the best.

I would walk across a rush hour freeway, on my knees, on broken glass to get to a good chili dog. Well done sir! You knocked this one out of the park.

Maybe it's just my youtube recommendations, but its seem its trending to learn how to build a sandwich(yes hotdogs is a sandwich) the right way, such as putting the cheese on the bottom to make a barrier for the juice. Its interesting how the whole world seems to get the same ideas all of the sudden.

I used to always insist on using fresh garlic but i recently grew weary of my cutting boards getting all garliced up. I also got tired of the harshness.
So I got a bottle of garlic powder the other day and i am lovin it. I still use fresh garlic for marinades and certain things but the powder is really good tasting! So cool to just dump a few shakes into sauces and meatballs etc
