Another pog video. This series never fails to impress me dude.
ATP Overwatch hey you look familiar
ATP Overwatch hello mr energy man
Hey Atp
I think it’s also nice to mention that, due to the stage playoffs being scrapped for season 3, the dragons will technically reign forever as defending stage champs. Just a nice little touch to cap off their climb to the top storyline.
Wait how are they technically forever reigning defending stage champs?
@@iambeepbop2452 Since there were no stage playoffs in stage 4, and there are also no stage playoffs in season 3, the dragons are the last people to have won a stage, making them the reigning stage champions.
The new system are the bracketed tournaments it’s a bit odd
This series is well made, well written, and overall very impressive. I understand that this one took a while to come out, what with the World Cup going on and all, but I think it was worth the wait.
I love the random wheel concept. Keeps me anticipated on who is next to come.
This video is as beautiful as Lordie
Shut up
@@Dzed2022 No
Can't wait for the Chengdu edition!

Is he quoting History of the entire world i guess or is it just me?
I caught that too immediately read the comments to see if anyone else caught it
I loved it

@@seanyang5186 someone uses Reddit wowie
Ok but like can we talk about coma who body blocked everytime DDing baraged. Get you a support like that.
oh damn hes a god
KDP squad and losing map 8 on illios. name a more iconic duo
Dding n Diem
NYXL and choking in playoffs
I found it great that in the clip of the dragons beating Boston in you could see Boston fans going crazy in excitement
I thought you were going from top down? Not complaining though
Nahh, it's random, he spins a wheel at the end of the each video to decide what team he does next. Personally, I would have preferred if he did it the same as last year going bottom to top.
To be fair, in terms of how much they improved, they're in the right place.
BAM since 8 teams are new you can’t really look at improvement so
@@law9586 they bought a whole new roster they didn't improve. They aren't season 1 dragons at all
AlphaMaG they improved by getting rid of their trash roster, doesn’t matter if they aren’t the same dragons from season 1
Great vid (biased obviously), just wanna point out that Luffy is pronounced loo-fy after the character in the One Piece manga
It's more than just that they were stage 3 champions. They broke the meta. They beat Nyxl shock and titans playing goats. Best 3 goats teams... Man I always wonder what would've happened if role lock wasn't put in
Charlie Park panic switches
@@phunki1696 they forced teams off goats. Which favoured them even more since they lacked the practice in those comps.
Out of all the quotes you forgot to mention “everybody poops”, Shame.
Stopped everything I was doing to watch this! Much love for your SiR vids :)
Really enjoyed the video. The focus on Shanghai's status before the start of season 2 was appropriate, since the franchise's management did a 180° between seasons 1 and 2 in terms of scouting and team-building.
If there's one team whose SiR I'd be eager to watch, it's most definitely the Outlaws. Their performance in season 2 was one of the weirdest competitive showings I've ever seen, in terms of ups and downs.
do more of the mini montages like with dding that was cool
Personally, most improbable bracket run in OW goes to GOATS in the BEAT invitational when they got trounced day one in under 20 minutes and go on to winning the whole thing.
The biggest redemption arc in all of esports history, maybe sports in general.
And here they are now - APAC Champions!
I keep coming back to these vids and binge watching them. hope you do them again after playoffs this season. love em
i feel the exact same way dude, no way
20:34 i just wanna say that mercy body block was absolutely amazing the pharah lived becuase of that
If you do not include the Hunters Vs Titans match where Ameng pulled out Rein. There is gonna be a problem
Don't worry, I'll include it
@@Dividingby0 Thank you good sir. Nice quality as always. Keep it up
The dragons from the start looked like a contender for the top of the middle pack. They would be were the fusion were last year, I think with time and synergy and a new pog MT, they could be top of the league, they have insane talent and if they reach the coordination of titans, they could stomp like them too
As a Shanghai fan, it’s sad to see Gamsu, coma, and Young-Jin leave
Even if the dragons never lose a map next season they will still have a negative W/L ratio and M/D
I managed to completely miss that roster moves started happening for OWL. What are the explanations behind some of them? London trading Profit, Fury, and Gesture (their 3 best players)? Gladiators trading Decay and releasing Roar in favor of OGE (a blatant downgrade IMO)? Valiant releasing Space, Agilities, and Kariv? NYXL releasing Meko (criminally underrated)? Are there salary issues we just don't know about?
At least in hockey and football (only 2 sports I follow) contracts and salaries are publicly known so it's obvious when someone is traded because of their contract, but here we don't know any of that right?
Hunter Lehman roar was the weakest link on gladiators imo, London’s players are too expensive I think, Valiant is broke because of cod, and idk about nyxl
Meatball Does Stuff is there a salad at cap in OWL? London’s players would be expensive but that’s because they’re among the best players in the league. And dumping all 3 of them makes no sense, you think they’d keep at least one
14:05 i love that billy wurst refference xx
Very fitting that the next team consists of players who came from a team that the season 1 dragons decided to ignore
dude im on a quick ow1 nostalgia trip rn and i would absolutely loovve a 2nd video of this including their next seasons
It’s simple I see shanghai dragons I click
The Dragons are by far the most improved team in history. In 2018 they were the worst, in 2019 they were top 10 and in 2020 they are arguably number 1. Props to them for that.
The clip of Huk talking about the tank competition was pretty quiet, especially with the music in the background. Other than that, phenomenal video!
Man, I really don't like the meta of stage 3, because it was so boring, seeing Shock and Dragons basicly try to stall each other (like what happened in Dorado) It was boring to watch
I have one minor comment. I’m not a huge fan of the transition between the intro and going into the actual video. The neon light are cool, but I don’t really like the sound. I liked it when you had some music in the background during your season 1 SIR
Dividing I think you should go from season 1 worst to best, then expansion teams worst to best
The Dragons had 4 different players on the off-tank position this year. I can imagine that can be quite difficult to adapt to.
3rd string Main Tank on Boston and 1st string Main Tank on Stage 3 winner, that doesn’t match up lol
They are the equivalent of the 2008 Season Seahawks.
More like the 16 jaguars. They didn't make it to the Superbowl and were overall brought down by the failure of a piece who was supposed to lead them (Blake bortles)
I love seeing my dumbass run around every time in the first Shanghai win clip
Ayyy, my favorite team since day 1. I love this series!
i remember that florida vs shanghai game bruh....everyone was saying it was shanghai's best chance to win but they didnt and it was so gutwrenching
i mean look at the crowd...their faces said it all besides those 2 celebrating
Who even plays this game anymore
lol
Not First Pog
Great editing! Loved the pharah compilation!
so shanghai were the first team to try out sombra goats?
Nice job on this vid not gonna lie that dding montage gave me chills
I watched this whole thing while drinking a hot chocolate and eating garlic bread
this video made me cry because no more scatter arrow >=(
shangai is the only team that can worry san francisco shock
My favorite team ever go dragons!
Do London spitfire or Vancouver titans
UnDead was actually an amazing dps also. I still believe if undead didnt go back to china half way through the season dragons would've had at least 1 win in season one. And if they had better tank and supp line Diya and Undead could've been one of the top dps duos in the season
Please don’t use that transition anymore
Do SiR on Philadelphia fusion
14:03 bill wurtz flashback
Well now I see why you needed the DDing clips
Geguri is probably the most overrated OWL player. If she wasn’t a girl she wouldn’t even be in the league
then where are all of the other girls in the league
Bat Jack Attack that’s the thing, because she’s the only girl in the league she’s special and carries a fan base which is why the dragons keep her you plat
Somehow u forgot the spitfire were compelete dogshit in the beginning of the season so the dragons beating them means absolutely nothing. Like literally nothing. A contenders team probably could have beaten spitfire in stage 1. A baby could have done it
The transition audio makes me want to die
What order are you going in for these videos? I thought you said top down... (Not to sound too cynical though, I really enjoy this series I'm just curious)
Outlaws next pls pls pls , love u
Idk if I'm alone here but you should absolutely go in order of worst-best
the dragons winning their first game gives me more chills than watching the cubs win the world series after their 108 year drought
Look at this dude! With his new graphics, better editing and stronger script! Throwing shade! Keep this up, man!
bruh you really going to do WJ dirty like that after they went 6-7 and 4-0ed the titans in stage 4.
Really well writed video
I'm not even a big fan of Dragons it's just this incredible story that attracts me.
#BreakThrough
I was a Dragons Fan since the beginning, still a dragons fan today, they will Raaaaawr and get another stage win just you wait~!
Naisu
Shanghai's run in Stage 3 was the best part of OWL S2.
Next team?
outro song ?
Am I the only one waiting for the Fuel video
You should do an off season series about roster moves.
What happened to diya?
he in contenders i think
Great watch best series on this channel
MORE SIR RN ALWAYS FOREVER PLS TYSM
Hey I like these videos put can you make the transitions back to the old ones and not the static please.
Edit: I mean but
Can’t wait for Atlanta #letitreign
Just in time for lunch PogU
14:42 *yet*
This series is back yessssssss
Yo dividing, what order are the SiRs in?
He is spinning a random wheel at the end of every video, next up is Chengdu
haha
Yeah, I don't care what anyone says, that first win against Boston wasn't clean. There's forever going to be an asterisk on that match. Their first *true* win came like one week later against Chengdu.
but like, you reckon any win they pulled off in season 1 would have been "clean"? meaningless point lol
