my engine keeps on crashing when i turn on the rounded corners for the hangar :( lil help pls
Dude WE KNOW! Same thing happened to us 10000 times. Ok try these things:
1. Don't turn "Rounded Corners" on before starting your path extrudes. Finishing your shape and when deciding the"Width" before left clicking to confirm, just check rounded corners.
2. Don't turn on Fixed ... instead go "Interactive" for all the settings.
3. Try to follow EXACTLY the steps and settings we took in the same order.
Let us know how it goes .... All you have to do is just mess with the settings ... this is totally not your fault ... it's a bug!
Hey guys@@badxstudio , yea so................. i did that. it worked but when i clicked "complete" after the entire thing its crashed again :/ . so i tried again and now it crashes as soon as i click on "Rounded Corners" :(
@@badxstudio Ok something weird happened i just made it on the Main level and it WORKED? i dont know what happened but it worked... so YAY :)
i have a solution you can try ,firstly change width mode to fixed and then check rounded corners after that change width mode to interactive again , it should work with you hopefully
@@badxstudio finally bug fix dont try in the same on tutorial do select random points that can make the same model you can apply rounded early its doesn't effect anything!
I’ll be here till the end. I’ve been working on a game in UE5 for half a year been learning for a year, eager and willing to sharpen my craft. Thank you guys so much. I can’t believe I’ve made it this far without knowing how to change pivot point.
We are so glad to hear it buddy. There are tons of tips and tricks in the upcoming episodes
i LOVE how clear your teaching method is. so many tutorials just run through so quick its so hard to keep up and they dont explain anything.. thats what sets your video apart. SO GOOD
Can't believe someone gave up now, this is so fun!
both of you, teach UE very easily.....Thanks Brothers.
LOVE U!
What a charismatic duo
Means a lot brother Thank you
Thank you,
I started watching your series to learn the ins and outs, but I'm super addicted now. Your videos are so inspiring.
guys you have an amazing energy to learn, thanks !
See... This is how people can learn new things in the world cause people like you all make it interesting! Not to mention, the fact that we even got this far, you guys acknowledged that and said "You are OG's" and even pointed out that some already have quit. THIS is what makes a person want to keep going! THANK YOU
I'm age 42, and have no background experience in any 3D animation. Struggle in learning in the past, because of boring and feels like a university lecture. However this got me so excited in learning and it makes me feels like a kid again ... thanks for this great tutorial
You guys are great! Thank you so much!
you guys are great thank you for this amazing playlist
This is the tutorial I was waiting for! I am not very good at modelling.
Let's see if that changes today! Thanks Bad Decisions Studio!
Im so glad yall made these videos, im completely new to UE, like I dont know anything, and every time I try to find any tutorial, its either not what I am looking for or 40 mins of a guy explaining the sane thing over and over.
Well I'm glad we found each other ... it was meant to be
I've been teaching myself how to use UE5 for the past year and a half. It is a powerful tool. I am always down to learn more and I'm excited for this tutorial series. Thank you for taking the time to create these videos as I know they take a lot of hard work and effort. I will start on this video as I already know the basics. Following and Subscribed.
Thank you so much for your comments. it means a lot that you understand the effort it took. Hope you enjoy the rest of the tutorials
This series is inspirational. I am determined to finish the whole thing to the end.

Thank you so much for doing this!
Thanks for these tutorials. Great so far. Is there an alternate way to measure the wireframe hanger rather than the middle mouse key? TIA
guys u deserves millions of views.
hahaha thanks buddy ...they will come ;)
Thank you guys for making these. ive been trying to learn ue for forever
It's your time now!!!
LOVE you guys that awesome
Truly, you guys inspire me to learn more and more in this area. What seemed difficult, you made seem easy, in my opinion. From here in Brazil, my deepest thanks. Let's go, guys!!!
Thank u so much buddy. Glad it is helpful
We LOVE BRAZILLLLL
Great series, I was looking for something like this for a long time. I really appreciate all the effort put into this series. P.S. Greetings from Poland🤩
you guys are awesome!!
Great episode, very clear. Thanks you guys. The game is just beginning never give up🖖
Heck yeah!! Let's keep going brother
May the force be with you 🖖@@badxstudio
@badxstudio can u please tell me how were you able to bring the grids for snapping on that rectangular platform youve got there at 12:50 cause ive tried it but wasnt able to see any grids forming on the cube which i developed from the modelling tool.
You can move Pivot Points on your models to get easier scaling. E.g. a Lampposts, Pipes, Ropes etc with a pivot point on the bottom center, are useful to have starting point and scale in one direction without the need of moving your model after each scaling
best tutorial for sure
Though I havent watched it yet, but thank you guys, this'll be perfect just as the previous one ❤
Hope you like it!
very nice big thank you guys 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
thanks so much !!!
Absolutely ❤️
mind blowing omg
Thanks Bro
plz let me know zoom in /out short cut key from doing with mouse is very difficult for me
Hurraaaay, I am on OG!!
OMG THE DONUT DUDE. I watched him when I first ever got into 3D! Love this!
It’s almost impossibile to find a better training even for a fee. Bravi!!!
Good merch idea for you guys to make/sell: a large keyboard/mouse pad with all of the Unreal 5 shortcuts
when i bring any mesh like cube or stairs once i placed it i couldnt make any changes and even after placing a mesh a new one is coming along with my cursor
i love it
The size matters ALWAYS🤣🤣. So fun to watch and learn. Keep it up
It does right? :D :D :D
hi there, i use Mac also Magicmous and it doesent have MMB how can i measuring things!!!
Sir the fire is not interacting with the cube ho to do it to make it ultra realistic
У вас очень крутая подача материала. Возможно лучшая на ютубе. Спасибо.
ps Понятно, почему вы моделируете в анриал, но мне страшно осознавать сколько людей теперь будет делать это в движке :D
Pureref is nice, but why not import the reference image into the project, put it onto a plane and just throw it into the world - on the floor for example - then you could just point n click your shape together. I used to use this technique in blender for modelling - usually 2 images 90 degree stuck into each other - good for cars or symetrical things as you can just mirror it over.
This tutorial is amazing!! Thank you for your efforts. Question, do you have a tutorial on the channel where you use Polycam? I see that it has infinite possibilities along with UE5 and other things. Greetings from Venezuela.
Yes we have two videos using Polycam for Drone Photogrammetry and Gaussian Splatting

Starting the Chapter 3
brother i have a low quality laptop , can i still do it
hey! when i turn on the any perspective option my whole screen is blacking
Finished part 2 - Going through part 3
I have a problem man , When i switch from perspective to orthographic view , it doesn't appear like yours , its completely black for me , where I can only see a pivot
I am not able to accept after using cube grid , getting a pop-up saying I can not modify the built-in asset
If you're following this tutorial and notice your lighting or lumen render looks off, please switch your scene to Cinematic (it'sat the top of your viewport next to show)... Unfortunately not all devices can handle it because it can be pretty demanding.
Thanks for these awesome videos Bad decisions, I'm really enjoying it so far... I would tag you on Instagram when I'm done practicing.
Can I run UE on a MacBook M1 MAX?
When I click on 'accept' after using the cube grid tool, it doesn't work and I receive the message 'cannot modify built-in engine'. To fix this, I created a new level, but I'm unsure why this happened
The toolbar on the left for modeling doesn't appear to me.
Check your plugins and make sure you have modeling enabled!!
@@badxstudio Thanks. Actually, the issue was that the toolbar was there, but the main view window was too big, extending all the way to the left side, so I had to resize it, by grabbing it and pulling it to the right. Then the toolbar appeared. It took some time to figure out, haha.
facing this issue while using the modeling tool in Unreal Engine 5. Can anybody help, please.
This tool is currently disallowed from operating on a group topology of this resolution. Current limit set by "modeling. PolyEdit. EdgeLimit" is 60,000 displayed edges, and topology has 79,638 edge segments to display. Limit can be changed, but it exists to avoid hanging the editor when trying to render too many edges using the current system, SO make sure to save your work if you change the upper limit and try to edit a very complicated topology.
0:53 For one second I thought you were talking about me lol
Hahahaha you are still here let's goo!!!

Am I the only one for who the drag with the middle botton doesn't work ? Does anyone know if there is another way to measure ? thx

I've been watching a few UE creators online be absolute dicks to people trying to learn that are just asking how in their comments. i hijacked their posts and sent everyone links to this channel. thanks!
