    just a quick tip in pure ref:
    1. if you select multiple images and press ctrl + alt + one of the arrow keys, it will make your images the same height, width or original size
    2. you can click on image and if you press up or down keys it will send the image up or down on the layer of stacked images

    DUDE! This is incredible! Especially straight out of Unreal. The only reason I could pick in some shots that it was CG vs actual Live footage was the lack of body roll in the cars during cornering or suspension lift during acceleration. But there is only ever so much time you can put into a production and I'm sure these things could easily be added with an infinitely long time line. All in all though it GORGEOUS work and you should be REALLY proud of what you've done here.

    • @postprocessed

      Thank you dude for this amazing feedback!! It was just a personal project, and yea definitely a lot of things could be improved if there was budget! It is insane light study and cool re-creation. I am working now of far more epic stuff, but unfortunately I cant make breakdowns of these projects due to NDA restrictions. And those personal projects/recreations is just for UA-cam content and showing how to achieve this sort of render. Appreciate your feedback and such comments push to make more content like this

    it does still look like cgi not real life.. for the average consumer its probably not noticeable.. but for anyone who knows what to look for its very easy to spot cgi clips..
    very impressive work tho and very well done.. the car acceleration and deceleration and also the road being smooth and not having even the smallest of pumps makes it look unnatural.. like in some shots it just feels like the car is weightless and not like a huge mass is accelerating. thats what gives it away these tiny details

    Excellent work. I am curious, which glass material are you using on your models for the primary glass on the car? The glass from the Automotive Materials Pack has translucency problems with newer releases of UE 5.2+. Even with High Tangent settings. Most likely a problem with engine changes on the software I think.

    unreal vs blener wich one is bettter for low end pc?

    • @postprocessed
      @postprocessed  10 днів тому

      Well. I will put it this way:
      You ANYWAY need to learn at least a bit of Blender to work with UE. And blender also can be optimized really well. So I would go for blender first place

    • @postprocessed
      @postprocessed  10 днів тому

      But if you need only to drop some props into the scene, set up cameras and lighting - unreal the way to go. So. If you want to be a CG/3D artist, with modelling and etc. But if putting props, cameras, trying light setup - is something you are looking for - Unreal is the way to go and in Lumen you can have realtime if you do so optimization and you will get faster result of already good quality picture.
      It's a hard question tbh. First you need to understand what is your goal

      I am a bad example and don't follow this advice:
      In the beginning I've spent around 12-14 hours a day constantly working in UE for about 3-4 months before I got to nice results. I liked to explore, dive deep, create custom solutions for lighting and etc. I sometimes forgot to eat and went to sleep at 2-3 am, I was just really excited and passionate about it.
      I would recommend 3-4 hours a day and dedicate it to some specific part:
      one week for environments.
      One week for lighting
      animation
      Camera
      etc. So you get the point)
      In couple moths you will get very nice results

    you have 2 big issue : one : is your road is sooo traight wich is impossible ... you should make some displacement on it to make the car and tyres move vertically , you should use blender he has really stunign addion for that and also for character rigging and speed , it use real speed .... it amazing lucnhcontrol i belive it name and others ... and exaust some fire comeout and smoke on tyres and for exaust rear pipe also .... goodluck for next. remake this video in blender and let me know by using cycles and new eevee .

      Well, I guess so... You can use Launch Control addon for blender to animate cars and rendering in Cycles should work really well!
