    Great info. I find the best way to get hotter coffee, is to use a cup with tick walls and pre-heat it by filling it with hot tap water and let it set/warm up for a minute or so. This makes a big difference, especially with espresso amounts of coffee.

    Excellent video as always. I had my milk frother for 2 years until I saw your video and realised you could turn the light blue for cold milk lol.

    I just took possession of an Nespresso Pixie and Now I'm learning more about it thanks to you. One thing I don't understand is, what pods should only be espresso, what pods should be Lungo and what pods can be either?
    These 12 tips are very helpful.

      Thanks Bob, glad they helped 🙂 You probably have it sussed now but for others who may be struggling we do have a couple of videos on the channel explaining how to choose the best pods and also the cup sizes a bit more. Perhaps a more in depth video on that might be good idea though.

    May I recommend using filter water in any machine that requires it, such as espresso machines, irons, kettles, etc. You get so much less limescale and the water tastes so much better. I don’t keep my filter jug in the fridge, as I prefer to drink water at room temperature, but I assume this would use less energy too.

    Super cool video!! Thank you very much for your super informative videos!! They are really informative!
    A short question: I have descaling my nespresso D121 machine( looks similar to yours int he video here) and after that I can see that if I turn the machine on both buttons are keeping blinking and it only responds to pressing the lungo coffee button. And it seems like there is a descaling program still going on from yesterday evening when I’ve made the descaling. How to I get the machine to work on the normal program again?
    Thank you very much for the work and I really hope I’ll get an answer! 🎉🎉

    do you have any tips for when the machine is not pumping water? i just purchased one from someone on facebook marketplace and he said he purchased it a year ago and had only used it for two months. from what i read, could be an air bubble from not being used for some time.

      i tried several things but the one that ended up working for me was pressing the lungo button and while it’s buzzing, repeatedly lifting and planting down the water tank. i had to do that several times (or i should say many many times) before it was eventually able to pump the water through. it was very satisfying when it finally worked!

  • @joshelliott7178
    @joshelliott7178 Рік тому +1

    Overall what would you favor- something like a citiz or essenzia plus an aeroccino or a creatista uno? They uno is absolute top of my budget but seems like I could get a stand-alone machine and aeroccino for around the same or a little less.

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  Рік тому

      I was really happy with my Citiz and Milk for many years but having used the steam wand on the Creatista machines, I’d find it hard to go back now. Simply because of the heat and texture of the milk they create and the ease of cleaning the wand. Sadly I can’t really comment on the longevity of the Creatista Uno as I didn’t use it as my everyday machine. We do have some videos of the Uno on the channel that might help you to make a decision though.

    • @joshelliott7178
      @joshelliott7178 Рік тому

      @@A2BProductions hey thanks for the reply! I’ve been watching the videos for the uno. It’s actually probably down to either the Uno or the L’Or. I watched the one about how loud the various machines are and in the Uno review you mention it is pretty loud. How would you say the L’Or compares to the others for how loud it is, just generally speaking?

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  Рік тому

      I’d say it’s average really, if not a little quieter. The Uno vibrates a fair bit and the steam wand is also quite noisy when compared with a standard milk frother. That being said the milk texture and heat from the steam wand makes it worth the racket for us 😂

    Hi. I have similar machine but without milk container. This video is great and thank you for that BUT I have some other problem and I hope you can help me solve it.
    So, if I reset the system, clean everything, do everything as supposed, here is what happens:
    - if I do a reset than on both (lungo or the other one) gets out the same amount of water/coffee
    - if I want to set up desired amount of water, I hold the desired button but the machine turns it of then THE MACHINE wants
    -- so, in both ways, I always get the same amount of water out of the machine (both buttons - the same amount of water).
