    Thank you very much.
You know much more than Nespresso staff, who just read from a prompt sheet. When they say they only recommend cow’s milk, they are not speaking from knowledge, they are just reading their prompt. I think Nespresso should employ you to train their staff. I have had Nespresso machines of many types for many years. I have never spoken to anybody who has actual real life experience. I have learned more from you than I ever have from them.

I clean it after use by adding cold water to the higher water line and turning the machine on. It clears the wisk and insides really well. The only time it doesn’t is if you let it sit overnight, and there’s a little bit clinging to the bottom. However, doing it this way mostly relieves the tedious task of worrying about the small wisk and its parts.

Another tip for extra frothier milk, is to shake the milk really well before you put it in the frother. You will get a much thicker and more froth.

I’ve added syrups to the frother while using the hot setting and had no problem getting a good froth. I have had issues on the cold setting though. I’ve also made my own pumpkin spice creamer using pumpkin pie sauce and half & half and, OMG the creamer both smells and tastes delicious on the hot setting!

I’ve used it to make Nutella latte, I just drop a teaspoon of Nutella while the milk is already spinning and haven’t had a problem so far. Just make sure the dollop of Nutella is not so big that it gets stuck and the spring can’t turn. Also used broken up pieces of orange chocolate, caramel, very small pieces of candy cane and cocoa powder to make different kinds of lattes. I’m also gonna try out making a matcha latte in it, as I’ve done that numerous times on my breville milk frother.
I also find the aeroccino easier to clean than the breville when I forget to clean the frother right away and the milk has already dried. 4.5/5 ⭐️
Edit: just wanted to add that I’ve also put eggnog and a dash of nutmeg in there to make eggnog lattes and I use barista grade oat milk as I’m lactose intolerant.

Putting the Aeroccino in the fridge before frothing helps produce a good cold froth. I do this frequently, even leaving it in the fridge overnight, and there’s never been a problem.
If the milk produces low froth, like some alternative milks, or half and half, I’ll spin it a few times on cold. You can then run a hot froth cycle, but watch it carefully, as the hot cycle amps up the froth.
Thanks for all the good tips!

I want to mention there are 2 plastic tabs on the inside of the lid to hold the magnetic spring when heating milk (no froth). This keeps the spring from getting lost or damaged. Also, the same tabs can be used to hang the lid on the side of the areoccino while adding syrups & such.

Every time I look in the bottom of someone's Aeroccino I see scalded milk and burn marks on the bottom beside the spring. The reason this happens is because the heating element is very hot and remains so for a while after the machine turns off. If you want to protect your frother and prevent this simply wait for the contents of the frother to absorb the heat from the element. I wait a minimum of 15 seconds before pouring and never get scalded milk

Another tip: if you tend to push the limit on filling it, align the notch in the lid just to the right of the button. This is especially helpful if the unit is one of the integrated ones. This way I see the mess in time and the “slosh” pattern from the whisk doesn’t directly target the notch (the weakest point to overflow). I’ve had a large reduction in messes since this change (and learning just the right level for my milk).

Love the Aerocinno 3 👌🏻 meets all my coffee requirements for Americans, Latte and Cappuccino. I don’t see the need to upgrade to the barista one for my needs. I’ve always found that I’ve got decent enough foam with semi skimmed milk, healthier option than full fat as well.

Not a tip but more like a warning, the whisk can lose its properties after several times being used and it will stop making a frothy milk; I bought a replacement to prove my theory and it was the problem, indeed. Also there's a recommendation about not leaving the Aeroccino put on its base when connected to the power, so make sure the base is not connected to the power.

This is a great unit even if you don't have a Nespresso machine, I have a Saeco Superautomatica and using its steam wand is annoying, because it is a single boiler. I can use the Aeroccino while brewing up with the Saeco. Since in North America we have wimpy 15 or 20 amp circuits at 120V, the Aeroccino with its 450 watts also won't overload a circuit for the minute or two it needs to run.

I didn’t know about removing the spring. I knew about the cold and hot thing. When I bought this one from QVC they told us about that. I have tried almond milk, oat milk and pumpkin flavored oat milk. None of them really thicken at all like cold foam at Starbucks, I didn’t realize that there were barista versions. I don’t think my supermarket sells that. I knew about the magnetic quality of the spring. I just put it back in the machine when it is dry.

My aeroccino isn't frothing my 2% grass fed milk...there doesn't seem to be any issue with the whisk or device itself. I tried to decrease the amount of milk as well and it still came out flat. I tried all of the FAQ from their site (cold milk, clean the whisk, etc) and nothing seems to work. From the reviews I've seen, many have had success with this type of milk. Any tips?

Is it a new aeroccino or have you had it a while? One of my aeroccinos stopped working in the past and Nespresso sent a new whisk and spring out and it fixed the problem. Don't know if that's worth a try 🤔

How many cups of coffee, would you say, can you make at one time?

    • @A2BProductions
      @A2BProductions  3 роки тому

Hi there 👋 We tend to just use it for one cup to be honest. With less milk you can make one cappuccino or one latte macchiato and with more milk (and no spring) one latte coffee. You may get 2 cappuccinos - Nespresso 100ml size - at a push but that’s something I’d need to try out again to check for sure.

I do it the other way. I froth it hot , wait a few seconds and run it with the cold option to get a better froth. I have found that when I use the longer lasting, ultra filtered milk, I get a much better froth though. It never fails.
