We just got one today for our anniversary and so happy we found your video. It will help my husband become our home batista. So refreshing to se a feminine lady and proud to be so. Don't ever ever change...
Thank you for posting this video , I got a Nespresso coffee maker 3 months ago and did not understand which intensity were better for which drinks. Also you are a sweetheart , you dad is lucky to have such a daughter.
To make your cappuccino or latte iced, long press on the frother button until it turns blue. Add your espresso to a tall glass, add ice, any shots of syrup, then add your cold frothed milk.
IKR? Happy Christmas to ME IN FEB! I bought myself the whole shebang! I love it. I need to take your tip here with the glasses, I didn’t really think that far ahead. Only the rounded bottomed coffee mugs will scoot in underneath mine. You definitely make a very presentable cappuccino and latte!
Thank you, I still enjoy my latte every morning. I found these glasses at Ross believe it or not! My machine is still going strong, I haven't even had to descale it yet!
Jenm 2003 I buy the over priced Starbucks Toffee Nut syrup. I have wasted so much money trying to find a replacement and no other syrup is nearly as good. It used to be available over the counter for only $12 but Starbucks pulled it and now it is much more expensive :(
The metal circle spring you need to take out for a latte. Leave it in for a cappuccino. The bottom max line states to be for 2x cappuccino. 🤷♂️ at least that is what the booklet says. You found any difference with 1 vs 2 cappuccino with the first max line?
Unless you don't want any froth with your lattes, I would leave the whisk in. Personally, I like having froth. I never fill to the max line or it will completely overflow. I fill it just below the whisk so I can still see the little black knob at the top. Any more than that and it can spill out the sides. I like a full-sized latte so I make them one at a time. It equates to about 8oz. If making smaller cappuccinos, then it is enough milk for 2.
Love her intentions to just share a modest video for those that are just simply coffee lovers like myself. I actually learned something. So I thank you gorgeous. I enjoyed watching 😉👍
@@CuisineandTravel That's funny. Well you inadvertently build up quite fan base there thanks to your dad. Did I mention also how incredibly gorgeous you are. Lol. I too am from New York. Brooklyn & mostly South Ozone Park Queens 😉
Am i the only one who can’t get organic whole milk to froth? Half and half froths fine and so does regular whole milk. But organic milk or almond milk just won’t 😵💫
Hi Jamie, the lower the fat content the better the milk will froth. Organic milk will froth great. I use 1%. Almond milk does not froth well, however, Oat Milk is known for how well it froths which is why you see it used in so many coffee shops. Hope this helps!
You made two awesome Macchiatos... the most intense Nespresso flavor is Kazaar, that will give you a rich, strong cuppa. To do a true latte or flat white, heat the milk, pull the shot first then pour the milk and try latte art!
@@mamabear5494 Thanks for the reply Stephanie, I did find one on Amazon as well. Holds 40 pods, very inexpensive and looks pretty good wife even complimented my choice!
@@jeffthompson3809 Yes, you just ask them at the register. Sadly they just stopped selling the Toffee Nut. I had to run to all the Starbucks in my area to hoard the last few I could find. You can still get the Vanilla and hazelnut I believe.
Yes the right button is for a shot of espresso to use for a latte or cappuccino. The right button is for a lungo which is a longer shot of espresso, not as potent, with more water and closer to the taste of coffee.
You just have to ask them at the Starbucks checkout and they will sell you the ones in the back. I think you can only get Vanilla and Hazelnut now, but you just have ask.
Thuan Nguyen yes there are many other brands that make pods that are compatible with the nespresso machine. I think the nespresso pods are the best but you can find many other brands.
franniefromvenice Do you think my dad cares? Guess what happens when you give it a stir? It taste exactly the same. I'm not a barista demonstrating a recipe, I'm showing my dad how to use the machine.
The more fat in your milk, the more rich and frothy the foam will be. It's all just a personal preference. I typically have 2% or 1% in my home. I buy my milk based on which has the furthest expiration date, which is why I drink organic milk. It lasts for over a month!
Yes we normally buy 2% but I have been buying organic Horizon whole milk cause my daughter uses it for cereal but need to get the 2% with the same brand for my daughter and ya. But hubby bought 1% milk so I will use that up
OneEyedPhotographer very easy, just rinse the frother. Once in a while I take a brush to the little whisk. But pretty low maintenance. I’ve had it two years and haven’t even had to demineralize it yet.
I got the syrup on Amazon, however, now it is ridiculously over priced. I currently just use the Torani real Caramel (not the syrup) and it makes great Caramel lattes.
Forgive me for my ignorance but is the frothy foam just for looks? Seems like a regular cup of cafe con leche (coffee with milk) to me. I’m not into coffee but this video looked interesting to me.
Hi Fernando, the foam is typically found in cappuccinos which are 50% foam to espresso. They do give a different taste, light and airy. I find the espresso to also be less acidic than your typical coffee.
I use the Toffee Nut from Starbucks but they recently told me they are no longer allowed to sell this flavor. For a caramel macchiato, you can also purchase actual caramel sauce on Amazon by the brand Torrani.
Sondra Barker I don’t mean to be picky but Australians have the best coffee in the world. 😀 We are all coffee snobs. We do not drink drip coffee - only espresso. I even have my own Instagram page called miss_coffee_snob 💪
@@carolineg2237 Girl, it's called N{ESPRESSO} for a reason. I also do not drink drip coffee, it's too acidic. Do they not have Nespresso Machines in Australia? You should look them up online. how do you make a iced cappuccino with the aeroccino
To make your cappuccino or latte iced, long press on the frother button until it turns blue. Add your espresso to a tall glass, add ice, any shots of syrup, then add your cold frothed milk.
@@CuisineandTravel because i’m not good at with these recipes so yeah
@@CuisineandTravel
when you put milk in the aeroccino does it froth up really well
@@IcedCoffeeLover430 Yes absolutely but it also depends on the type of milk. 1%, 2%, and Oat Milk are the best milks for a nice frothy foam.
@@CuisineandTravel oh really that’s excellent
That was a great tutorial thank you

Reset your machine timing, it is no longer factory timed
My machine timing works great and this was years ago when I just got the machine.
espresso goes before the milk....
not if you want to see your layers

It does, but you know I have to stay trim and cut those calories where I can lol
