Again, be aware of the common SCAMS that are all over UA-cam comments these days. I talk about this in Sunday Shoot-a-Round videos almost every Sunday. I seriously doubt that ANY UA-cam creator is going to contact you in the comments section and ask you to TEXT or CALL them to get your "prize." DUH. :-) Or tell you to go to Telegram, whatever THAT is, or anywhere else.
I've contacted UA-cam about this several times. They are working on some things that might help with this, but it's just like all the SPAM email we all get; there's no way to eliminate the idiots or scammers of the world. You just have to make sure you're not suffering from a chronic case of "gullibility." :-)
some folk just love to watch the world burn
I SAW THAT
SO MANY SCAM BOTS AND DIRTY BOTS EVERYWHERE ON UA-cam AND THE OTHER SOCIAL MEDIAS
Hickok, I am still waiting for you to send me that Colt Single-Action Army you promised me. I am indifferent as to which year model you send me. Firstborn child is in the agreed upon location and $20 sent to your Telegram. Thanks again! 👍🏻
Hickok, I was hoping you would switch out the backstrap. That is a good feature for guys with larger hands. Would love your opinion on that.
I wish more Channel creators would address this to their viewers as you did. Thank you for the public announcement!
It’s crazy to me how a lot of us have been watching probably before we could legally own firearms and here I am 23 years old still referring to your videos to see if something’s worth it.
And always will lol
Brother I'm 35 and have been watching before I could legally buy one lol if not it was close 😂
Took the words right outta my mouth, and never been more true, I'm 35 myself and been watching Hickock45 since the day I created my account lol he's just got the most honest personality and grandfather type advise that is honest and truthful to the bone. Pretty much every pistol, rifle or shotgun iv ever purchased iv looked on this channel to see if hickock has done a review on it.
Bro I’m 34 and I know for a fact there’s a ton of people viewing these videos that are closer to Hickok in age than I
been watching since i was 15. almost 20 now
Man, educated, genuine, and a hell of a shooter. Honestly the best channel for gun education tbh.
Yes it is
When I purchased my first gun when I turned 21 I learned so much from his channel. He even took the time out of his day to message me back when his golden puppy passed away. That's was around 12 years ago.
I refer to this channel before I buy a gun...if he doesnt giggle 5-6 times I dont buy..😂
It feels like I’ve been watching this dude since UA-cam was created. He’s a great, honest and down to Earth educator and a hellava shot!
An American treasure 100%!🇺🇸🇮🇱
I’m just glad Hickok is still around. Was one of the main UA-camrs I’d watch 10 years ago when I turned 18 and got into firearms . Brings me back
Remember his 500,000 subscriber giveaway? He joked he was gonna give away a target stand to everyone, even those living in an apartment. 😂
Same. I’ve been watching him since he came out and I’m about to be 31 soon
Hickok45 is just the absolute best reviewer and a blast to watch!
I alway appreciate this man’s reviews.
Imagine owning a private range, just like that.. Goals
I own a range like that and can not recommend it enough

Blessed to have my own private Ranch Range.

Thank you Hickok45 for a complete review. You're the best.
It's always a pleasure watching Hickok45 shoot. Thanks for the review
Reminds me of shooting with my dad when i was a kid watching you shoot. Long live Hickok45 👍 love my p365
I just picked one up about a month ago. Man I am sold. It shoots flatter than the X or XL. That comp really helps with the muzzle flip. I think it is even shoots better than my full sized P320 or HK VP9. I have definitely become a Sig guy, I have the P320, X, XL, and now the X Macro. I do pocket carry the X Macro (big cargo pockets), yes the X is way easier to pocket carry and I can always switch back to it. In my opinion the X Macro is pretty much a do it all gun, carry and home defense. I am quite happy with my purchase.
Glad to still have you with us I have enjoyed your videos for years THANKS
Love the mix n’ match. I did the same with a Shield Plus performance center lower (for the trigger) and a night sight upper from a plain Jane. Never a malfunction.
Because of my love for hammer-fired SIGs, I was reluctant to look closely at the P365s, even though they had obvious potential in the carry gun department. Since then I have picked up pretty much every gun in this video and love them. It's funny how things change. Great video!
I picked up the XMACRO ( blown away at the size and capacity)a few months ago and have a 1000 rounds of various target and self defense ammunition with ZERO failures. Very accurate. I compared it side by side with my shield plus and with the 13 round mag in the shield they are identical in size. I still carry my shield but mainly the XMACRO now.I agree that I could do without the compensated cuts in the slide but that’s what it came with. I would prefer a non compensated slide cut so I am debating whether or not to pick up the XL slide to put on it. As always another great video from the Legend! Thanks
If you're concerned about SDI, I am currently a student there pushing for my certification and I'm not disappointed in SDI, I'm learning quite allot
Can you get a gunsmith degree or certificate all online? or do you have to complete some lab hours on the actual campus? Thanks for anyinfo you provide
A lot.
@illuminationpetition8296 completely online
Very nice assessment. I don't think you addressed it, but it is nice to see a shift from the proprietary Sig rail to a traditional 1913 picatinny rail!
Thanks for your time and effort guys. Great info 👍
I'm not the biggest fan of comp guns for defensive use either but I really do love the way the market has went with these thin lightweight carry guns with really good capacity. It's crazy this gun has a 17rd capacity in such a small package. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
Well, in reality in that very very rare case you might actually need to use one for actual self defense the comp will matter not at all. On the other hand it will no doubt be annoying when you practice your close quarter self defense maneuvers…
@@fastjazzI've run drills shooting from retention with a comp gun and it's not horrible but it's definitely distracting... that was a full size gun though I've never tried it with a shorter barrel like this one but I would assume it would be worse. Either way you're correct in a defensive situation I don't think you'd notice a thing.
Watching you shoot both, I see less muzzle rise on the comp. I’m not a big comp fan either, however, IMHO, it does make a slight improvement with muzzle flip from my experience. That’s why I’m going to buy one. Thanks for the video, really enjoy them.
Hickok looks just like guy that owns our local gun store I have watched you since I was a kid man great reviews as always
Sig is killing it. I love my p365. Now I want this one
Do it I just got one
I think out of the box, this gun beats out all of its competitors. It’s a concealable 17 rounds gun that’s reliable, easy to shoot, and is optic ready.
It's kind of a Glock 19. Handled them all today and bought the p365 regular. I thought the bigger models would be like the g48, skinny, but the macro is a fat boi, and the xls feel a touch fatter than the 48. Nicer pistols though, Glock is beat out now,. completely imo.
Glocks for me have been reduced to different caliber platforms, I like my Glock 23 in 357 sig and 20 in 10mm, both with kkm barrels. But now it feels like an overpriced civic just to put your favorite turbo 🤔
I picked one up today. Now I have to have one.😞 I’ll wait for the non-ported model.
@@josephroach9793 yea I was a Glock fanboy until the P365 series came out. Now there’s a version of the P365 for everyone.
@Brooklyn Boi I should have said, it's Glock 19 sized. It's.no longer a 365, it's basically becoming another p320. At that larger size, it's a nice option for spamming out 9mm, but it now has a lot more models to compete with
At $799.99 they can keep. I’ll wait until they start selling the grip modules and mags and simply do exactly what Hickok did and swap my XL slide and trigger module onto it and all for 1/3 the cost of owning a new one just for the grip module
Thank you hickok45 for the awesome videos
My gun shop didn't have the Comp in stock, so I bought the non-comp. Now, after hearing your logic I'm very glad it worked out that way. Makes total sense. Thanks!
One big improvement Sig has made, you aren't aware of, is they've made available the Macro 17 round grip module for $79 and a 17 round mag for $59, pretty pricy, but at least you can get it for your P365XL. Last I looked SOLD OUT at Sig.
The macro grip is perfect for xxl hands.
The ‘new’ rail is wider and very sharp. Which requires a new holster. I wish Sig had just stayed with the regular rail.
Waiting for this review! You always come through!
Saw this handgun in my local gun store. I’m a guy with large hands and this felt like a comfortable CCW. Can’t wait to pick one up!
It fits really nice in the hands.
Feels great. It’s a bit wider than the regular and xl with a bit of palm swell.
I have two XL's.
I'm with Hickok 45
got mine!! 34 rounds so far...
The macro is senseless in that it will become pointless when they sell only the grip module. Still, they know that I'm going to buy it.
The porting for self defense is complained about now until they see John Wick using it to his advantage to blind an attacker he can't quite get the barrel pointed at.
My only complaint is the price tag but around $650 or less wouldn't make any sense if they are selling the Spectre Comp for over a thousand. I went to the store set on not spending over $750 looking specifically for a Hellcat Pro and ended up with the Macro because of how good it felt in the hand.
The grip is the real winner on this gun. G19 length with more capacity AND basically a single stack profile compared to Glocks it's just too sweet, but it's all kind of brought down a little in my mind because of how irrational the lineup is. Like IDK why they just didn't introduce this as only a grip module for the XL so we could have 3.7in barrels. It's because they know they can do that later but cash in on people who just like the comp gimmick.
Awesome review and video! I love the Sig P365 too. Great pistol!
Another great video. The beauty of this system is that you can mix and match the difference slides and frames to get the perfect handgun for you. It really is the AR15 of handguns. This is the gun (system) that Glock should have made when they are were the only game in town.
Yup definitely I put my XL length barrel and slide on my X-Macro and vice versa. Like the longer barrel to match the larger frame on the X-Macro
@@ChrisC4314C2 yeah, about to hit the Sig site and look for the macro frame for my XL. Absolutely love my XL, but the slightly longer frame will be way more comfortable, it'll get my pinky off the 15 rd mag sleeve...
I love my Sig 226 or MK 25 as it’s properly named. I chose the Sig M11 A1 for my carry gun as it’s basically a miniature 226 with no rail, no optics cut, has the SRT (short reset trigger) and is basically the same size as a Glock 19. It’s a super accurate shooter and feels just like my full size 226. I think it’s great that so many companies are offering a ton of choices for EDC and the 365 line by Sig is definitely doing well. You can tell when you go online to order a custom IWB holster for your pistol. It seems like every single holster manufacturer out there has one for the 365. That tells me it’s obviously doing very well.
Thanks so much for all you do. Your my go to guy for honest, unbiased reviews!
John.
My favorite combination is the XL slide with the Wilson Combat grip and a MagGuts mag conversion. Gives 14+1 and the grip is perfect. Great vid as usual Hickok! God bless.
Sig Sauer designed a gun around a magazine.
I can't remember any gun ever made like that before.
In my humble opinion, they should design every single iteration of the P365 around the magazine.
The macro holds 17+1
Hickok45 carries a p365(x) makes me really appreciate and know I have the right carry firearm. I love watching him he really loves what he does.
I have the xl and the macro comp. The comp definitely makes it flatter for faster follow ups. I like the comp model for close range defensive scenarios.
Is it noticeably louder? Considering in a defensive situation you arn't going to be wearing hearing protection, For those who are more noise sensitive than recoil it's a serious consideration.
@@watariovids1645 a gun is loud without ears on. Your not going to really tell the difference because your ears will be ringing reguardless
@Twat Goblin yeah I felt the same when shooting it. I’m waiting until the grip module and mags come out and I’ll just get those.
You won’t even remember hearing the shots.
facts
From what I’ve seen here I like this gun. A lot! Sig is on fire
with so many models and here they’ve made a 17 round gun lighter and smaller. Exactly the way I like it! In the Army (Infantry) back in the 80’s the motto at the time was ‘what’s the spirit of the bayonet?’ The reply was ‘to kill’ my Platoon Sergeant (with years of Vietnam experience) would always say ‘to carry more ammo’ and he was right. So this 17 rounder with less size and weight than others is the perfect answer to me. And when you always should carry two magazines that adds up to 34 rounds-WOW it’s a no-brainer! I’m going to look and shoot this gun at the range and if it feels and shoots good to me I’m getting it!
It's an interesting firearm, but I don't think it would move me away from the Glock 48 as my EDC. Thanks Hickok--you are the gun review guru.
I bought a Xmacro grip module and modded it to fit my standard p365 slide. Now it fits like a glove compared to the 12 round mag where my big hands still had a lot of palm exposed. To me it feels a lot nicer to shoot with the upgrade.
It looks like you can get the X Macro frame and mags then drop your XL action and slide into it. That seems like a good option for a single gun that you can shrink down for pocket carry or max out for open carry or doing a class where the increased capacity would be preferred.
I enjoy so much these videos I can watch the channel for hours LOVE IT
Great review. This looks like a nice model. Very great video as always.
Great video, like I said if you already have a sig xl or x there is no point to buy $600 plus macro for conceal purpose, if u want more rounds buy an ext mag and safe the money to practice more. Best sig for conceal is 365 it can be used also with ankle holster.
Very cool demo, i have 2 M&P shields and they are too small for belt carry, have not tried any pocket holsters yet but its on my to do list.
You really are my favorite! I've been watching you for so long and always go to you for the best intel. Thank you!
Another entertaining demo and insightful personal review. Thanks…
The combination I’ve settled on is the P365 xl upper on the P365 for summer carry and the P365 xl a frame for winter carry
Luv your autoloader. Thanks for the review. I actually purchased one, the X-micro. Hard finding a holsters since its so new. Sig store was the only place I felt confident to buy a holster from. Selection is very limited. Only one type of each IWB and OWB both not very comfortable. Hopefully they come up with a leather kydex hybrid.
Thanks for the tip about close contact defensive pistol. Never would’ve thought about the heat, etc. blasting me in the face.
Excellent presentation thank you for your time posting this content, very informative.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I really like your idea about running the XL slide on that frame. Higher capacity and longer grip. Cool to have the option to put a red dot on it though. Maybe Sig will listen to you and take note of this video. I'll wait for that model to come out...
Can’t imagine them not offering it in a non-ported version. I think they released the ported version first to counter the Hellcat Pro with compensator.
You don't necessarily need a longer mag to fit more rounds. You just need more space inside the mag. Example: Glock 43x factory 10 round magazine vs the shield arms 15 round magazine.
Thanks for the great content and experience your sharing with us
I have always loved Sig products and have many of the original Da/Sa models, the P226 being my favorite, but unless your a uniformed LEO concealment and capacity are always your biggest problems!
Sig addressed both problems with the original P365, and once they worked out a few bugs, the entire industry has been trying to play catch up! Now Sig is trying to narrow the gap between the P365 and the P320 to catch any stragglers who didn’t bite on the original. Personally my original P365 is my favorite with a 12 round mag it fulfills all my carry problems ! It carries well in my pocket, it has plenty of fire power and for my hands is a great fit. It’s super accurate and reliable it’s design is spot on, it’s my EDC.
Sig is really dominating right now.
I recently purchased the 365 X Macro Tacops and I’m really liking it. I absolutely would never buy a handgun for personal protection that has a comp. I hope at sometime you compare the 365 X Macro comp against the Tacops with no comp.
Can you imagine breaking into his house and the first thing you hear in the dark is "Hickok 45 here"? 😂😂😂
Awesome review, as always 👏 👍. Been sub'd since 07'. Amazing to see you'll be at 7 million subscribers soon. 🇺🇸
Trust me you will never need to use your gun in self defense. Everyone knows who you are and that alone is enough to protect you lol
Maybe so among gun owners and shooters, but the typical low-life that might threaten my life is less likely to be a firearms enthusiast. They are more likely to be thief-murderer enthusiasts. :-)

A standard P365 with a 12 round magazine is basically an XL grip. But you can still use 10 round mags too.
Agreed
I'm gonna hopefully be shooting my first ever 3 guns this saturday, your a inspiration hickok.
Love your videos and your knowledge!!!
Mr. Hickock is the one who turned me on to pocket carry years ago..I routinely carry both Hellcat Pro and my new X Macro in Vedder pocket holsters. Best carry method imo
If you had to choose between the two, which one and Why? I don't know which one to get.
@@ANOVII2 if I had to choose I’d go SIG a little more pricey than the Hellcat but for me it’s the modularity of Sigs. They’re like legos you can swap slides, grip modules all that. Sig has better aftermarket support than the Hellcat.
Do you think the this sig is easy to conceal? It’s small right?
@@baconeggstoast5327 I have the x macro and it’s nice and concealable. Just the right size especially for me with bigish hands
The mag guts spring kit is amazing! Adds 2 extra rounds to the standard 10 round magazine without adding length. 13 total with one in the chamber. Hard to beat
Yeah I've liked my 365XL Magguts for the 12-14 Spring Conversion. Was a little of a pain to install but once I got them together thy have worked well. Need to continue training to catch any malfunctions. I have 800 rounds through my XL Total so far without a hiccup though. It would be cool if they made a 17 or 18 round spring kit for the 15 rounders too.
For its size and capacity it's put my G19 back in the safe atleadt until winter. It shoots Heavy +P Better.
I run them on my XL. Gives me 14+1. I never could get down with the original 365. Too small, too little capacity
I could never install either of mine and angrily returned them for a refund. If they want me to take them seriously they’ll come out with a much more workable method of installation. Til then, they have no credibility with me at all. That’s the way I feel, your mileage may vary.
@@dilldowschwagginz2674 I occasionally swap grips and slides, from XL to regular 365. I have magguts for both (the XL 12 rounders, and 365 12 rounders)
If weight is a concern, it's super nice to carry the shorter slide, and still have 14+1. I find that the drawstroke is actually improved with the 365 12 rounder. Very slight differences to the grip mods, but perhaps enough to notice over 1,000 reps.
@@hcookaustin It took me a solid half hour almost to do two of them correctly. Had to keep taking them apart over and over until I got it right. Ill admit it was a very frustrating process for me but I got it in the end. Still testing them out for reliability though.
Awesome video can't wait for the Sig x10 review!!
This is what I’ve been waiting for
The XL slide with the macro grip gives you a longer barrell and a bigger grip and more capacity
I think that is ideal. They announced the Siig 365 Macro which is exactly this configuration.
I bought my p365x a couple days before this one came out. Was a little bummed at first that I didn’t wait a couple more days but the regular x model is a solid gun.
I have the p365x and the p365x macro and in my opinion they’re both great.
From a few other channels it looks as if u can have both by picking up the marco frame and 17 round mags
Always my go to on a gun review !!
I'm always looking up for your videos.
I am currently enjoying the P365 with the Wilson Combat XL frame. Very comfortable.
Me too…I put a fiber optic front sight from Sig on mine. It’s just right for me.
@@larryblake7554 Hmm... I think I like that idea. What color?
Same, all i want is the slide on the x macro. But for the price might as well buy a whole new pistol
I am digging this.. We can just wait till Wilson Combat comes out with a grip module for it. And us who already have an XL can then have 17rnd. capacity. But it will definitely become a OWB . which I like carrying in field. Then go back to standard for CCW.
Yeah, I'm waiting for a WC grip module in this size. Already love the XL size. Actually, I would probably love an AXG aluminum frame with side panels in this macro size too...
No reason it can’t go IWB. Slide is still only xl length. Grip is a bit wider though. In a good way. (For me anyway)
I have been watching Hickok since 08-09 when I started to get into firearms. Crazy to think he has over 2 billion views. That is insane
Pleasure to watch as always 💪🏼🇺🇸
Would love to see you do a review of the p320 spectre comp!
Got the original sized P365, use 12rd mags exclusively. Fits great in a pocket holster, has fantastic sights stock. Anything that would make it not fit in a pocket doesn't interest me - would just carry my P226 in that case.
Another Great video! Thank you for your channel!
He's got the best job in the world testing all the new firearms the day they are released! I don't know anyone else that gets the pistols or any new firearm as quick. But the compensator is definitely helping especially in a defensive situation it keeps the recoil down and can get quicker splits and more accurate shots on target and that can mean the difference between life and death! Everyone has tested it and no flames go back in the face it doesn't get in thebway of the shooting even at night, in fact an evening shoot can demonstrate how fast the flamage is up and gone! I sold my P365 XL with Romeo to get the X Macro! I have a gold Match barrel and Im getting it milled down to the metal piece on the opening of the slide and porting the barrel 2 holes under that metal that goes between the holes and then 2 more smaller holes below that showing in the opening of the hole closer to the shooter, the barrel will be 3.45 inches and it will look really good!!!
I built and carry the sig P320 in 9mm with 15round mags. . .comes with 7 but you can get 7, 10, 15, or 21 rounds standard.
And 17
Excelente pistola. La policía nacional de Colombia la utiliza. Bendiciones desde Colombia 🇨🇴
As always a great video. Thank you
You’re probably the best shot on UA-cam. You make everything look good.
P365 for summer. I have a m&p compact 2.0 for other seasons. I had some remorse not getting the p365XL for summmer but it really is a lot bigger than the 365… I carry the 12 round mad extension so it gives me a nice purchase on the grip. Idk, might get the XL one day.
I have SAS and 2 XLs. SAS is easier to carry, XLs shoot and handle a little better. The SAS Comp doesn't control muzzle climb any better than standard SAS. We ran them side-by-side, switched shooters quickly back-to-back. Couldn't tell a difference between either.
This new X Comp is supposed to control muzzle climb better.
@@LRRPFco52 May I ask why you have 2 XL’s??
@@BDawgCrypto I built one for my wife's birthday. Ordered a custom coated and laser-etched grip module in Dark Orchid purple. Ordered a True Precision stainless barrel. Pushed in a Fiber Optic front sight.
Topped it with a 507K. She really liked it, said it was the nicest gift she ever got. It runs well too. RDS was dead-on, didn't even need to zero it.
I bought the FDE NRA Special Edition XL after I got the SAS the year prior. SAS sights actually work surprisingly-well for me. I was skeptical, but they are natural for me. I've run the SAS and FDE XL through multiple high volume day/night pistol courses. Zero malfs so far.
You can buy an XL grip module and easily switch the fire control group. I tried it, but prefer the regular frame with the 12rd magazines. The reason is because I like having the option of the flush 10rd magazine if I need more concealment. If you want a little more capacity you should check out the Magguts +2 spring kits.
@@Sauerbrew777 thank you!!!
Love mine. Much softer shooting compared to my P365XL and P365X. Improved grip and very good capacity.
Damn dude. Sig loves you
Yah that comp and longer grip might make it a better firearm to shoot. Even my compact 365 shoots great.
I'm really glad to hear that I'm picking mine up today at the gun shop I know it was a risky purchase but I wanted to try it out
@@Brewski203 the search never ends LOL. The P365X will still be my preferred carry gun I think. I just prefer that short slide.

The Only UA-camr I’ve seen that doesn’t act like he uses Sig Sauer Lube Great vid
100% agreed. I prefer the XL slide and DO NOT like shooting compensated handguns for defense and/or indoors. Sig should release these 17 round frames on the XL slides soon otherwise Wilson is going to release the 17 round grip module and a lot of people like me will end up buying the 17 round magazines from Sig, a Wilson Grip, and then using my XL slide instead.
Then don't buy it? Lol cry baby go away
This gun is 🔥, I love everything Sig did with it. Love keeping the rear sights while using a sight attachment at the same time. 17+1 mags, extra handle straps etc all in a nice size carry gun. The comp is an xtra but I’d still love it even if it didn’t have that but kept everything else

Nice video Hickok. They have three models of this pistol now: XMacro($650), XMacro Tacops($750), XMacro Comp($800).
X Macro is the one you would suggest it’s also about $150 cheaper. Both the standard XMacro and Tacops come with a longer barrel, 3.7”, since there is no adjustment for the compensated slide. Tacops version has a detachable magwell and an enhanced slide catch lever, along with 4 mags included.
Tacops is probably the best bang for your buck.
The SIG P226 has to be my favorite gun out of all of them.
Well….yeah… apples to oranges comparison there buddy
It was definitely weird the order in which they released the macro models. Wonder how the review would have changed if it was for the recently released base model macro. No compensator, optics ready, 3.7in bbl, and priced ~$650.
Love you Brother thanks for teaching me so much!
Thanks for the video. Gives me a really critical look at the 365X Macro.
Sig 365 XL is perfect with the extended mag. Longer barrel.
When I saw that THEE Hickok45 carries the same freaking gun as me I just started grinning like a real weirdo
Enjoy your videos. I'm a much smaller guy than you and for me I notice quite a difference with the comp verses my regular non comp model.
I went to buds gun shop when I was at gatlinburg just because of your videos!!! Love that place
the barrel is actually much shorter on the macro than the xl. for me, the macro is not as accurate as the xl. first time shooting the macro, i was shooting about 2" left at 10 yards with irons. i installed a holosun eps and it is nuts at 10 yards now.
Hate small pistols, can't hit anything with them, large frames i love, want to get one of the 320 spectre comps. Love sigs and great video as always.
My paws are too big for the baby guns too. Just not comfy for me to shoot at all. Even with mag extensions.
I thought the same thing at first about small pistols. Started shooting with them and couldn't hit anything. However, after a few affordable upgrades to the gun like a better trigger and internals, and some range practice with them, my accuracy has improved 10 times over and I can run them just as well as a full-sized. Just took a bit of figuring out.
@@BAGGStheAugmented I thought the same about small guns too, then discovered the EC9s for about $260, and that solved it.
I have the new Macro and I carry it, I did not however think about holding the gun close and possibly getting some of the muzzle blast to the face, VERY good thing to make note of!!
Sig is pushing the envelope. I love my P365 XL with a 15 rd mag. I don’t care for optics on my ccw either.
Can u pocket carry tht
@@bronem8979 yes, with the flush fit 12 rd mag. I appendix carry. It’s much better IMO
I agree Mr. H about optics. Find them overkill on a defensive pistol. I’ll be lucky if I see my front sight in a life and death situation, let alone a dot in the screen.
Lol train
thank you. Never thought of that.
@@WoodysTherapist youre welcome
Completely agree. Well said my friend
That is the whole point of a red dot on a pistol though. Target focus instead of sight focus. And again well said, TRAIN!!
I've been debating on a concealed for some time and that talk about comp on a defensive firearm was a great point
Just as an FYI, I would do some more research. Hickoks' opinion is just that, an opinion without any actual evidence. People have done actual tests like firing a pistol with a comp right next to a human flesh analog and found that there was no serious damage and then also fired it and checked blast onto shooting glasses and also found nothing. It would probably be a bit unpleasant, but nothing damaging or likely even noticeable with adrenaline pumping, and they even did extreme tests(literally having the comp within an inch or two of "flesh").
