Me too. I’ve shot Glocks for 25 years. Didn’t love the 43x, so I got the P365. Having to get used to different grip angle (especially since I still shoot both). But the P365 has been such a great gun.

Fantastic comparison. Thanks for putting the 12-round mag in the original P365 and doing a size comparison with the X. That was something I was curious about and haven't seen anywhere else.
I have the 365 XL and got the Icarus Precision grip machined from billet 7075aluminum. The grip has a more rounded feel. This really steps up the shooting over all. If people can't conceal the 365 XL there's a problem somewhere. I have carried many guns and this by far the easiest gun to conceal I have ever had. Then again so go buck crazy if they think a little line may shows up somewhere if they carry. The gun came with one 12 round mag and one 15. I tossed the 12 round in a bin and got a few more 15 rounders. It's very easy to carry with the 15 in the gun and I carry one more 15 just to say I do. Best carry gun to date so far for me and I have been through many over the years.
I LOVE my p365x! But I must confess I daily carry my Glock 43x with flush fit 15 round Shield Arms magazines. Even if I only had the stock glock 10 round mags, I'd still choose the 43x. Both are ultra reliable but the 43x fits my hand perfectly and I seem to shoot it better with what feels to me to be a lower bore axis than the p365.
I agree with the recoil as I have both. The 43x is one snappy mother trucker. Both great guns and trust my life with both. I can just draw faster and shoot more accurate with the P365.
Great video! I wanted a p365, so I got a p365x and ordered the smaller frame and 10rd mag from sig for $100… So basically for $150 more I have a p365 with factory optics cutout and flat trigger
Thanks for a great review, I just purchased the 365X and could not be happier. In my opinion, in addition to the 1 piece frame making it a flatter shooter, I think the beavertail helps get a better purchase for more control. The flat trigger probably adds to the smoothness as well. Keep up your good work, I enjoy all your reviews!
The beavertail makes a big difference. I put an Icarus frame on mine and it feels much more controllable. Added Hogue finger grooves and my hand locks into the gun.
Yeah I’m going to get one. Just your comments alone I’m sold. I carry a heavy Jericho 941 I just want something lighter lol but I will continue to carry it in different situations.
This is the one buddy. I really like this set up. I have large hands and the xl grip size is the answer, I don’t run an optic on my daily conceal carry. But I like having the option, this really is carry perfection.
I swear you will love your first Sig Sauer. You will cherish it and adore it due to the fact that it will quite a bit more time before you can afford your 2nd Sig Sauer.
Bought the grey frame X with the grey romeo today and went straight to the range. I LOVE THIS THING UPDATE: I love this thing so much, I bought the XL in coyote with same color romeo, then got my cousin the original 365. He has been carrying a S&W 6946 with 1 mag for the last 27 years.
The kick has muzzle rise( the front flips up) so when the bullet exits the gun it stays flat making it easier to reacquire the sights on the picture you’re pointing at. Better?
Got both. Sig 365 X fits the bill considering my size, but the original 365 with a flush 10 round fits that deep conceal when the X is a bit too big. Golden age of firearms. Sootch knows his stuff.
Just like you, I haven’t had a single malfunction from my p365x. Hundreds of rounds through it so far and still not a single problem. I don’t buy the “cheapest “ brands of ammo but I do buy loads of ammo and it has eaten every single round I have put through it and not complained once. Blazer, Sellier, magtech, Winchester etc. not a single issue ball rounds or hollow points, it’s a hungry little beast that eats everything. Great reviews thanks Sootch!! And thanks for the coupon with sportsman’s guide! I use it all the time.
Excellent review, for a number of reasons. You weighed each pistol, tested trigger pull weight and carefully pointed out some of the slight differences in all three models. I recently upgraded the grip module to the XL length and purchased two after market floor plates to allow use of the P365 10 round mags. I won't be going back to the original grip module. Again, thank you for a great video.
Sootch00 - I appreciate your videos, for the professional production aspect. No disrespect for other UA-camrs, some are just difficult to watch the whole video... Keep up the good work Sootch00!
It’s the beaver tail on the x. I changed out my grip with the Wilson combat grip after the XL was introduced and have carried it that way since but it does shoot better because of the beaver tail
Got one about 2 weeks ago, had been waiting for something like this for a while. But now I want a plain 365 as well!! Great little pistols. Can't believe I waited so long to get into them.
Thanks for review. Just bought P365X today. Compared P365, P365X and P365XL. P365X was best fit on my hand. Can't wait to pick it up. I live in Illinois so need to wait 72hr.
One of the other factors is how you intend on carrying it. Do you want a pocket gun or something you have in a holster on your belt (in or outside)? From what I've seen the standard 365 fits in your pocket (larger winter jacket, hoodie if you out on a jog, or general pants/shorts pocket) and doesn't print all that easily (depends on your body type, of course) if you want to carry it that way for those situations. For the 365XL and 365X you would definitely need to put in an IWB/OWB holster. It sort of depends what you're wanting it for too.
Great Info. I have been researching Sigs for conceal. My gut won’t allow me to do appendix concealment. So it will have to be 2 or 4 o’clock. The X Macro does offer a 3.1” barrel like the P365 and P365X. It also offers a compensator to minimize recoil. But I want concealment without losing a place for my pinky on the grip. This will be my first handgun. A lot of friends warn me about the weight too because it obviously goes up with bullets. So I’m a little lost in all the details and determining the importance of each.
I’ve got the Xmacro comp and I bought a Wilson Combat xl grip module and bought an Sig xl grip module with factory 12 round magazines. I carry in a Vedder Comfortuck holster. It’s the most comfortable way I’ve found to carry. I have always carried Glocks but I love the modularity of the 365. I find myself carrying the Sig xl grip module the most. It conceals very well. I added the Magguts +2 to my 12 round magazines. 15 rounds in a small concealable package is nice. I love the comp’d slide also with the Holosun 507k x2 green dot optic.
I think the X shoots flatter than the base 365 because of the extended beaver tail that’s mitigating muzzle flip. I was going to put a Pearce pinky extension on the base 365 in order to create a cheaper version of the X. But considering the X’s flat trigger and that extended beaver tail, I’m leaning back towards the X now. Thanks Sootch!
but then you're back to almost a full side pistol. If concealability is important, especially in the summer months, then the x or xl or slide assembly swap on the p365 with 12 round mag makes more sense@scottloftin1730
Great video, I went with the 365x and picked the one without the optic, because they had both, with the romeo zero and without the optic. But then I took a chance and got the holosun 507k red dot and I'm sold on red dots for handguns, I'm very accurate with the red dot because you can see all of your target and hit where you want to hit as long as you have good trigger control. I never knew my hands could shake so much, with a red dot you can definitely see that little dot move all over the place, specially after being shooting for a while. I'm very happy with my choices, now I have to find a holster for it, I got a Tulster holster but it rides a little high, Is a great holster but I want something that goes lower inside the waist, anyway, thanks again for the video, be safe and God bless.
If you have someone in your town or withing driving distance you would be better off take your gun, with RD and with WML. The kydex holster can be heated/molded around your gun. Put a couple of tension adjustment screes, height adjustment and cant. You have a custom holster for probably less then 100.00$. Plus you save freight and insurance you would have to have to have one of the many holster makers avalable.
@@Neo72.2 Besides being easier, less expensive you will be helping a locale merchant. You will also have the option of "tweaking" the holster for your specific comfort level. (If it ain't comfortable, you won't wear it!) good luck sir.
I bought the standard P365. In addition, I bought the P365X grip module (70.00 & 2 12 round mags. I can switch from the P365 with Wilson Combat grips to the Sig P365 X in just a few minutes. Yes I love the single pice 12 round/ P365 X frame the best, I will continue to add on for additional modularity. I have never been so happy.Great video and information. Thank you.
I found a P365 Sig Pak came with a 12 rd mag and FDLE grip. Bought the same grip in xl version and bought two more 12 rders love it. The XL grip also has a longer beavertail.
Just bought me and my wife one. She loves it. Retired military. Bought both guns on base. Zero taxes. Feels good in my hands. I have small hands. She tried the cz and the hellcat. She fell in love wife the P365 x. I tried it and loved it too. So I purchased one for me and the wife .😊
Thanks again Don. I have the XL with the Romeo 0 on it. My only gripe is that mine has a safety on it. I prefer no safety in my EDC. Of course I could sell it and get what I want or I could just practice and focus on the draw and sweeping the safety off. I've been carrying my Hellcat daily mainly because it is smaller than the XL and no safety to fool with. Only gripe I have on it is that I ended up with a tru-glo front sight and not the tritium sight. Seems like I can't get my hands on the perfect small concealed carry with the "more capacity" firearm. I've been looking at getting the Ruger Max 9 and now I'll consider this 365 X from the review you just completed. Thanks for all the footage and the editing you do to make the quality videos. They are very much appreciated.
I have that very same firearm (XL w/Romeo Zero and thumb safety). Why not just practice/shoot with the safety in the OFF position and use the safety as an added thumb rest? This is what I do. I also carry 1 in the pipe and appendix or 1-2 o'clock. I also purchased a pic-rail from Tac-Dev. I attach an OLight BALDR Mini light/laser(green) w/600 lumens. Get a good holster and be confident in your carry. Practice your draw as much as you can (dry-fire). Peace and Freedom to All!
Good video. I have 5-P365's, a Spector Comp, Macro, 3- P365 with custom slides. I have 3 custom AXG P320's which I like a lot but since I bought the P365 X-Macro it's going to be my "big gun now". The Macro does everything plus has a 17 round mag. The Sig P 365 platform is it for me, from CC to the range it does everything, plus it beats out the Glock 19 in every measure. In fact I may sell 2 of my P320's and keep the AXG Pro 320 and do 2 more custom 365's with Icarus modules.
@@killjoy117007 Ya cars, guns and mens watches are issues with me but there's no shortage of worse things one can get involved in. It is what it is and for now it's good. Gun magazines and UA-cam needs to be banned
I have the XL with the Holosun 507K X2, Vuurwapen extended magazine release, True Precision Stainless threaded barrel, Vedder light tuck holster. Shoots awesome. You can buy a picatinny rail adapter for the Sig proprietary rail, so options are not limited.
Great vid presentation. But I'd stick to the original P365. The purpose is to "conceal" carry. No need to deviate from that intended purpose. Just my opinion.
Not directed at anyone, just my thoughts on optics on a CCW. If you can't hit a target at 3 to 10 yards with normal sights than you don't need to spend $300 dollars on an optic. You need to spend that money on ammo, range time and or training.
I have been watching your channel since the beginning and your always on point. I just got the the 365x. I added 15 rd mag and true precision gold barrel. I love this gun and soon I will get the holosun 507k.
I have the standard P365 that I use mostly with the 12 round magazine. I thought about getting an XL grip module for it but I do not like how they got rid of the side cuts where the magazine baseplate is. In my opinion, these side notches are important as it really gives the user a good grip on the magazine to be able to forcefully pull it out in case a jam needs to be cleared in a stressful situation.
To me the longer grip is not an issue for concealment but a huge issue for control ability. The longer slide causes a lot of issues when seated, driving, riding a motorcycle etc. The x is a tack driver. Even when I carried j frames as backup I always added the longer combat grip. You have to be able to make all the shots and you simply can not with a 2 finger grip.
Excellent review. Your photography makes me feel almost like I am firing the gun myself. They all look great but 365X seems like the one i want to try, Thanks for all the great reviews.
XL slide on the standard grip is the best carry configuration IMO. No real concealment penalty from the longer barrel but you do get the longer sight radius and the additional velocity. The X version goes the wrong direction for me: harder to conceal with the longer grip, but without the sight radius and velocity benefits of the longer barrel and slide.
@@yhbchacone6980 Yeah this combo is even better now that the Macro is out IMO. Buy the XL for the best 365 series barrel/slide combo, get a standard grip module for a shorty grip that carries easily, then get a Macro grip module and bingo you've got a full size too. One pin, 3 guns. XL is the one to buy now, even more than before.
I have the 365X, I like it a lot. I traded my Hellcat in and bout the p365X and a Shield Plus. Love the latter two more than than the former. I didn't buy the standard 365 because I didn't like the grip. I like the 365X grip. I also think the 365X shoots better because it has a larger beavertail. I also personally believe the trigger is better for me on the 365X than the standard 365.
Terrific review as always. I have a pair of original 365's. Didn't care for how they shot. The X/XL grip module/frame is perfect! You are right on the $.... that longer grip makes a world of difference.
I chose the standard p365 and then put the magguts +2 in the mags for 12 rounds. Hundreds of rounds and not a single failure. Love the concealment of the standard 365 w/ XL capacity. But I’m seriously considering a future XL purchase…or the p320 compact I have always had Glocks…but it was a no brainer choice for me between the 365 or the 43x. The 365 is way smaller and it just melts into my hand
Now that they sell the standard P365 with the optics cut the advantage goes to the P365 over the 365X. With the standard P365 with 12 round mag with grip extension you essentially have both guns. Slap in the 10 round mag for a compact pocket carry or remove the 10 round mag and slap in the 12 round for a 365X size gun.
I tried to like the shorter grip but it dug into my hand too much. The X was better all around from the grip to trigger to the option for optics for me.
Great review boss. Great firearm with either X or XL. I love my Glock 19 Gen 5, carry it half the year in West Virginia. Carry Sig 365 during warmer muggy time of year. I must say, personally Sig is built with very durable parts and seems to me to be a bit my solid than Glock. Both great guns.
Great video, however, please add conceal carry comfort and printing comparison since it doesn't matter how well it shoots if you don't feel comfortable carrying every day all day.
Always great videos; I learn so much. Thank you for all your very informative gun reviews! Btw, for the weight of the P-365XL, I think you meant 1lb 4.2 oz.
I put the xl grip on my 365 instead of buying a new gun. My 365 is a newer one already optic cut as I retain the rear site and I put the sig flat trigger in it. And worked out perfect. The xl slide is longer than the dust cover of the module. With the xl module and the stock p365 slide is equal in length. Thus the p365 x was born. That is why I did what I did. Already owning a p365 and wanting to try the 6 moa red dot. When sig offered a combo deal on the website for 99.00 for the od green xl module and matching Romeo zero I jumped on it. While I do not advocate for the plastic red dot. I’m more of a holosun fan. I didn’t want to spend big money on a try and hope I like it situation. Size of course. So far I’m liking both enough that I may buy a Romeo x compact. But as far as grip length. Awesome. I tried loading a photo but wasn’t successful in doing so. With adding the hogue grip. Makes for a much more shootable range time. I spoke to sig and the x is combined original 365 slide and the original xl module married. No like not similar too but both models coming together to make the x module.
Excellent video. Your teaching work here is exactly what I was looking for to explain the nuances between the Sig P365 models. I really appreciate what you did, thank you. Nice balance between features and performance. No worthless chatter or biases just the facts.
One thing sootch00 forgot to mention about the grip on the X model is the slightly longer beaver tail. It’s why he shot steel better and why you can see the recoil is a tad less on the X. Cealability is actually about the same, if you try them both, just ever so slightly better on the 365 original. Nearly every single 365 owner I know uses the extended grip on their standard 365. But this all depends on how you conceal, your body, and how you dress. It also comes down to experience concealing weapons of any kind. For me personally, the 365XL is the top dog here for shootability. The 365X is the best all arounder, shooting very well and concealing very well. The original 365 comes in last unless you have very tiny hands that can get a full purchase on the grip without using the extended mags.
The nice thing is that, if you have the original P365, you can just replace the grip module to make in an X. You can also switch out the trigger to the flat one very easily. I really like the modularity of the SIG FCU. I got the P365 optics cut version and will probably just throw the X grip module on it.
I love putting the small grip on the x when I want a normal 365 with a straight trigger. Less rounds? You've never heard of mag guts +2?! I use their+2 mag internals in all my sigs and go from 12 to 14 rounds.
I bought the NRA Edition 365XL because it was a great value. I can still shoot my full size guns better but by a small margin. Small enough to hide and big enough to get a full grip. Nice work sig, thanks for the extra rounds.

@@gregorylubbers8533 - Me too. 365 is just too small for my hands. I carry the GLOCK 43x with a s15 mag everyday.
Thanks for not calling it a tack driver
Great video!
I wanted a p365, so I got a p365x and ordered the smaller frame and 10rd mag from sig for $100…
So basically for $150 more I have a p365 with factory optics cutout and flat trigger
You sir, nailed it.. the best of all worlds from a comfort and concealment standpoint
Then ad some mag guts to the 10 round mag to get back to 12 with no extra length ay Lol
The X is now my goto!! Glad I waited!! Nice review!!
Your recoil control is damn good
@RedRight Hand he showed it, just regular fiocchi. The 365 line is just known to be pretty soft shooting relative to size. And of course technique.
I had two regular P365 pistols, recently I purchased a XL frame to make a P365X. I'm very happy with it.
Just picked mine up yesterday. Such a great little gun! They really nailed it with this one.
Bought the grey frame X with the grey romeo today and went straight to the range.
I LOVE THIS THING
UPDATE: I love this thing so much, I bought the XL in coyote with same color romeo, then got my cousin the original 365. He has been carrying a S&W 6946 with 1 mag for the last 27 years.
Whats your favorite, X or XL?
@@lexandersig carry X, shoot XL.
That's the one I want x
@@knuckleblood For home defense, which one do you recommend? P365 or P365XL
@@jorgenavas6704 The XL has a much better grip and the added length of the barrel should give alittle more accuracy and velocity.
I think the X shoots flatter cause of the XL grip, the extended beaver tail is probably huge help.
Ya that’s gotta be it
I was thinking the same thing.
What does shooting flatter mean?
I'm very new at this & trying to learn all I can before hopefully making a very informed decision.
The kick has muzzle rise( the front flips up) so when the bullet exits the gun it stays flat making it easier to reacquire the sights on the picture you’re pointing at. Better?
I got the p365x and I love it, I can put it in my pocket. conceal is excellent. a female friend saw it, she handled it and she wants one now.
Where could I find these floor plates?
What I like best about your videos are the very detailed table top views and disassembly. Keep going with that! 👍🏼
Thank you for doing such a thorough review and comparison. It really cleared up a lot of questions I had about the differences between models.
Sootch00 - I appreciate your videos, for the professional production aspect. You are a Professional, and obviously respect your audience by having, and following a script for each video, and editing your videos for quality of content.
There are many UA-camrs out there, that post content that just rambles on, repeat themselves constantly, studder, and mispronounced words.
No disrespect for other UA-camrs, some are just difficult to watch the whole video...
Keep up the good work Sootch00!
Fantastic review Sooch!!
This was the only gun to ever get me away from my Glock 27 carry. It’s the ultimate carry.
You don’t find it tough to conceal given the longer grip? I shot the 365 but didn’t like how short the grip is. I have big hands.
@Lift4Life_Patriot I bought the 365X with the longer grip and carry it at 5 o'clock (back, right buttcheeck). Not much printing back there.
Sweet! Excited to watch
Thank you for clearing all that up! Wonderful video on the P365’s
Great video 🔥🔥🔥
It’s the beaver tail on the x. I changed out my grip with the Wilson combat grip after the XL was introduced and have carried it that way since but it does shoot better because of the beaver tail
It's very hard to tell the differences between these so thank you for being very receptive of the subtle differences and explaining them well!
Got one about 2 weeks ago, had been waiting for something like this for a while. But now I want a plain 365 as well!! Great little pistols. Can't believe I waited so long to get into them.
My 365 is accurate, makes me look like I can really shoot 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Which one do you carry more often? Is there a difference in how it prints? I'm buying one for pocket carry and am stuck between the two
@@snoopywl8880for pocket carry it’s simple. The OG 365.
Thanks for review. Just bought P365X today. Compared P365, P365X and P365XL. P365X was best fit on my hand. Can't wait to pick it up. I live in Illinois so need to wait 72hr.
It seems like the differences are so small that the decisive factor would be the price. Great comprehensive video. Thank you.
❤
This is the best Sig365 series video period.
@@douglassalley9117 thanks for the tip.

That 507k is no joke. I just switched to the x2 version and put it on my 365x as well and I kind of prefer it over my rmr that’s on my g19
I live your intros. Odd as it may sound but that's one of the reasons I watch your vids.
Beautiful, I've got the x with Romeo. Thanks!!
There isnt a review out there that is better than this. Much appreciated
Great little guns. FYI, the Holoson 507K fits the X and XL perfectly.
Sweet
Unlike most experts, sootch00 leaves no room for questions. As for the choice of gun, I would prefer the XL.
I’m pretty sure you can remove the safety mechanism yourself and then buy a grip module that doesn’t have the safety cut outs
@@RockyMountainWest13 Thanks I'll look into that.
@Frank Bonazza III Thanks I'll check into that.
Great info. I’ve seen them all here on UA-cam but no one had explained the differences yet or I never saw them yet. Thank you.
The Icarus Precision grip module is definitely the way to go.
Bro you need help🤣🤣
@@killjoy117007 Ya cars, guns and mens watches are issues with me but there's no shortage of worse things one can get involved in. It is what it is and for now it's good. Gun magazines and UA-cam needs to be banned

I have the XL with the Holosun 507K X2, Vuurwapen extended magazine release, True Precision Stainless threaded barrel, Vedder light tuck holster. Shoots awesome. You can buy a picatinny rail adapter for the Sig proprietary rail, so options are not limited.
What ammo you shoot?
Great comparison . I was up in the air on WHICH one to buy, but after your review I'm sold on the 365X for sure.
Great vid presentation. But I'd stick to the original P365. The purpose is to "conceal" carry. No need to deviate from that intended purpose. Just my opinion.

@@yunggolem4687 P 365 is pretty accurate for what it is 25-50 yards. Why keep adding stuff? Buy a Sub compact Optic Ready pistol and call it a day.
Not directed at anyone, just my thoughts on optics on a CCW. If you can't hit a target at 3 to 10 yards with normal sights than you don't need to spend $300 dollars on an optic. You need to spend that money on ammo, range time and or training.
@@johnbellinger2494 I agree, and you normally buy a sub compact for ease of carry.
Thank you so much, I spent a couple weeks trying to decide between the x or xl and this is the only video that has truly helped!
The XL grip is slightly thicker (side-to-side), has a beavertail, and has a decent magwell. These features make a significant difference for me.
Just bought a 365X for my wife....she loves it. I know there are newer models now but this is still a sweet pistol and can be found for a good price.
I have been watching your channel since the beginning and your always on point.
I just got the the 365x.
I added 15 rd mag and true precision gold barrel. I love this gun and soon I will get the holosun 507k.
I have the P365. added a longer threaded barrel, 12 and 15 round mags. Presto I got all three guns in one.
Very happy with the 3 in 1 GUN.
I love my 365!!!!!!!😍😍😍
I have the standard P365 that I use mostly with the 12 round magazine.
Been carrying my 365XL for 2 yrs now ,,everyday. One of the best decisions I ever made. I can't say enough positive about my Sig.
Absolutely agree with you!
Agreed, checked both 365X and 365 and the difference is ridiculously small and gains in handling and capacity.
Hickok will make you a LIAR lol.
☝️ this guy gets it!!!
The longer barrel on my g19 always smacks my balls or squeezes them lol so went with the x not xl
Thanks bro I been had the xl but maybe thinking I shoulda got the x but this makes me more confident peace!
Been shooting Glocks for almost twenty years but I think this has convinced me to buy a 365X.
Great review Don. I bought it because I already have the original and the XL so why not add the X to the lineup! Thanks for all you do brother!
What is the reason for having all three?
I have the 365X, I like it a lot. I traded my Hellcat in and bout the p365X and a Shield Plus. Love the latter two more than than the former. I didn't buy the standard 365 because I didn't like the grip. I like the 365X grip. I also think the 365X shoots better because it has a larger beavertail. I also personally believe the trigger is better for me on the 365X than the standard 365.
Which do u like better, Shield Plus or X?
@@TaniaAmthor Definitely the Shield Plus. Smooth as butter! And laser accurate.
I was leaning towards the hellcat pro after comparing it to a G43x and p365, but I'd prefer to buy American made.
Terrific review as always. I have a pair of original 365's. Didn't care for how they shot. The X/XL grip module/frame is perfect! You are right on the $.... that longer grip makes a world of difference.
I like the original best. To me, its a pocket gun. That extra grip makes it difficult to pocket carry... I back it up with 15 round mags...
Same here, the recoil is barely there and the reset is fast and audible 😍😍😍
Yes the original is the best !!
Really great video- thank you! I’m trying to decide between 3 conceal carries right now, and you did a complete job covering two of them.
I chose the standard p365 and then put the magguts +2 in the mags for 12 rounds. Hundreds of rounds and not a single failure. Love the concealment of the standard 365 w/ XL capacity. But I’m seriously considering a future XL purchase…or the p320 compact
I have always had Glocks…but it was a no brainer choice for me between the 365 or the 43x. The 365 is way smaller and it just melts into my hand
Plus you're buying American made product
Now that they sell the standard P365 with the optics cut the advantage goes to the P365 over the 365X. With the standard P365 with 12 round mag with grip extension you essentially have both guns. Slap in the 10 round mag for a compact pocket carry or remove the 10 round mag and slap in the 12 round for a 365X size gun.
Xl does it for me 👍
As always, Great review ! Think Sig has the Best EDC offering out there.
LOL! I was just typing that I wished you showed the P365 with 12 round and then you showed it. WTG!
Always great videos; I learn so much. Thank you for all your very informative gun reviews!
Btw, for the weight of the P-365XL, I think you meant 1lb 4.2 oz.
Now that I understand the difference between the Sig P365 and Sig P365 X. I will be buying the Sig P365 X. Thanks!!!!
Outstanding !!
Very cool! Solid review as always. What I don’t get though, is why the X model is $150-$200 more than the XL or standard.
The extras in the box three 12 round mags.
Excellent video. Your teaching work here is exactly what I was looking for to explain the nuances between
the Sig P365 models. I really appreciate what you did, thank you. Nice balance between features and performance.
No worthless chatter or biases just the facts.
Great vid. The better feel of the 365x over the 365 with mag extension could be difference of flat trigger vs curved trigger.
Very true
And the larger beaver-tail makes a big difference
The P365 is my choice with the option of the 12/15 round magazine. The tradeoff's (size, etc.) is not worth the change for me.
Agreed!!!
I’ve never heard of mag guts before, but thanks for telling me!
I bought the NRA Edition 365XL because it was a great value. I can still shoot my full size guns better but by a small margin. Small enough to hide and big enough to get a full grip. Nice work sig, thanks for the extra rounds.
