I have a batch of this on the stove as I type this. This is my second time making this recipe.
The first time blew me away and I did not have the amchar masala or geera. This time I do thanks to Amazon. I just tasted the broth simmering in the pan and OMG it's even better than the first time I made it.
Thank you Chris! You have made this lover of hot and spicy very happy with this recipe.
And folks, it's important to follow his TECHNIQUE. This guy knows his stuff. I will be trying all his recipes.
*I just went to order his book and damn, sold out until further notice.

They say give honour where honour is due. I bow for u man. I have tried curry goat recipe from different videos online before and it leaves my house smelling of curry which is not very pleasant, and it just tastes of curry. I watched this video a while ago but never gave it a try. I have just tried your way and I am speechless. For one, my house smells incredible. The curry goat is sooooooo tasty and full of flavour. I am actually going to take some in to work this evening to share with my colleagues cos I am not embarrassed of the look, smell or taste. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thank you for this delicious recipe. I have it cooking right now. The only difference I have made is I placed it in my crock pot after I let it simmer. I added peeled potatoes and carrots to the crock pot. Mmmmm. My kitchen is smelling great. My husband is loving this. Thank you, again.

I haven't done goat yet. (only bbq'd or canned). but i like to use finely shredded cabbage in my curry instead of potatoes with pork or poultry.
I learned that in uganda, and it's nice, real nice.

Ok so made my curry goat according to this guide but just made a biggar quantity and let me tell u this is the recipe you want to follow. Curry goat as iv had at the carnival here in london rough and tough roots rock recipe. I cooked it for 2 and a half hours but meat was not quite tender so I chucked in some grated ginger and in 20 minutes my meat was soft enough to break against the pot. I love this one this is my future reference and no other ever. Rice an peas link for perfect side. Raspex

My GOD this was good!!! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Betapac Jamaican style curry powder but good lord this whole Madras style with Amchar Masala and Geera is AMAZING! I had to drive an hour away to get those ingredients but it was well worth the drive. I'd like to ask you how do I ensure I get good cuts of goat? The last few times I got some "chivo" from the latin store and it was tough after 2.5 hours of low and slow cooking.

I've noticed thru ur video u mention the decrease am out of salt & oil use, I def agree. Have u tried cooking with fine/course sea salt & as for oil light/extra virgin oil, me personally use raw coconut oil. Also in regards to the lingering smell try whole cinnamon baked in the oven or simmer low in a pot of water & most of all close all bedroom doors. Wonderful overall to watch & learn
