That curry looks good, I haven't made it in a while so I might have to try your method!
gosh I always get hungry watching you videos
Great Job Chef Jason!!!
Great recipe Chef! My question is the Curry you use to season the goat was not cooked like the Curry paste. Does that take away from the dish? Also a great tip for the pepper- if you add the whole habanero to the pot and make sure it doesn't burst, you get the amazing flavor of the habanero without the heat. Love your videos!
Yummy!! Great video
Well done chef.
Good Job Jason your cooking is on point
Chef my mouth was just watering. The goat looked so good it scratched my throat. Well done.

This boy could cook. Loved this video. And as he said, don't put too much pepper, remember other people have to eat too.😊
You go boy !
Agree 100 percent on the pepper bit...

I sometimes add coconut milk powder to my curry goat, and it taste great. 👍 You should try it

The best
My favvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
So from other recipes i was told to wash the meat with white vinegar in few waters and then hit it with some lime. I have one pound of goat and one pound of beef stew mixture. Easing into the goat slowly lol Ya i'm scared. hahaha.
Now i did not rinse off the lime so I'm not sure if i ruined the dish. Now it is marinating in olive oil, green and white onion, three cloves of garlic goat and duck curry, salt, pepper, crushed jamaican allspice corns, vegeta with no msg, and jerk seasoning and thyme I need to add ginger, celery, turmeric fennel, garam masala, cumin and coconut milk and bay leaf and yukon gold potatoes.
Thanks this was a very helpful video that did not use a mix of seasonings in a packet I don't trust instant packets full of msgs.
good presentation on the tomatoes but i am not sure what green with the tomatoes i assume it is basil or curry leaves or cilantro or parsley?
You may put baking powder to make it soft ... just try it ✌ Less time 😎
Caripela is a must in my curry and dhal
Yuh is ah boss's. Good job..
Can u do a bagi rice?
Nice job........aluminum pot?
🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹 Oyea looks lovley
Curry leaves are used extensively in South India.
Most of the Caribbean food look Indian.. Jeera, turmeric, dhal, rice.. Missing coriander powder
you is ah boss when u put coconut milk true trini.. luv it.. but i use d pressure cooker im 2 bz.. but u cook it like me. same seasonings same method. awesome.. my mouth watering.. ppl who cook with pepper is selfish.. if yuh like pepper add your pepper to taste when you eating.. please send me some.. i cook my duck almost same way... well done
Mmmmmmmmm
Goat boat looks good bro
Total cooking time?
Man, that looked really good. I like that you added aromatics twice: in the marinade and in the base flavor. Do you like the gamey flavor of goat? Or do you try to remove it?
When we trini finish wash that in lime and flour all game yness leaves the building.
@@anjoferguson3717 Interesting. I've tried lime juice, but not yet with flour. Milk also is effective at removing the gaminess, but i don't like the smell and flavor it leaves in the meat even after washing it out thoroughly. Thanks for the tip!
@@tanluwils1736 milk is new to me never tried that. But flour works like a boss on any meat including fish
Saffron and turmeric are 2 different things, saffron is like a deep red colour which comes in strands, like loose tobacco.
Turmeric is known as Haldi in India.
@@eatahfood Aaah okay bro so you guys call it different a name because of its colour? Learn something new everyday! Loved this video bro, i'm an Indian, born and bred in the UK. I was just watching Jamaican curry goat videos as I was intrigued as to what was ''Jamaican'' about a goat curry, hence the name and ingredients are Indian lol Some of the videos I watched the chefs never used half the ingredients you used lol so i think you have one of the best recipes out there......thanks for this and keep up the good work bro! stay blessed!
@@eatahfood turmeric is actually derived from the word saffron. So people tend to say turmeric is the gold saffron, even though they are two different spices. Turmeric is considered an extension of saffron, like a distant second cousin lol, but called turmeric because of the golden color.
dat wanted 1 congo pepper in there... i dont eat much pepper, but need it for flavor. and i saying it needed a peps.
you know hot water is better does not slowdown the cooking process
Mi mouth a water
Lovely curry goat, I can smell the aroma
I am happily vegetarian these days but the only meat dish I sometimes would like is curry goat. To be honest the flavours of the gravy with rice would be enough for me lol
I was under the impression Pudina is mint 🤔 but delish recipe!!! 😍
Pudina is Spanish thyme so I was told. Suppose someone else will say something different so we will learn as we go along.
My dad lives in trinidad. I live in miami.i am dying for his curry goat, channa n aloo and paratha. I only eat his trinidadian food!!!!!!!!!! Only trinis wear those chunky gold braclets!
Chef Peru do cook curry chicken the same way?
Yes. You can cook any thing in the same way. Dont get confused ,there is no secret.
Love up u bugin
dude send me a plate!!!
Word of advice: make sure yuh have something to eat after watching d bubbling star cook, yuh surely will become real hungry.
Jason that is called bunjay.
I want
Damn for real he’s fine. Where were you when I was younger? I Love curry goat with some white jasmine rice and some steam vegetables
As a Guyanese, I would add tomatoes & potatoes.
Love me a good curry goat, i too like to cook my goat nice and slow, it allows for concentration of flavours. I drop some bay leaf in my goat, got that from my mom.😌
I love it but I would add chilli heat.
Damn he is handsome and a chef and trini. Marry me please. I will try this definitely!!
Chef Jason could easily become an excellent food writer; the brother is an excellent orator with a fantastic command of language
You can also cook with celebrity actor Cindy F Daniel who also works at TTRN because all she makes is tofu and salad I have never seen a piece of chicken in her mouth.
Chef jason will you do a collabro with dj cindy f daniel .
I dont have time to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes. Goat going in the pressure cooker.
Where the scotch bonnet?
Plz. Write ingredients and spices name in English subtitles
You win me with the Pepper Rant at the end, why? I 100% AGREE! Stop punishing the people dem tongue! Everybody's body can't handle pepper. There's nothing worse than being in public with proper, proper make-up, only to eat a heavily peppered dish that have me sweating off my foundation and leaves me with running eyes and a leaky nose! #StoptheABUSE! lol
Gloves use it
No peppers?
I don’t normally think that Indian men are cute. But he ‘s a cutie and he could cook. He look like when you eat his food you’ll be singing “ Meh Lovaaaa”.... lol just joking y’all!
Goodnight chef Jason Peru why don't you make curry crab and dumpling with Ashleia Baskh star 94.7 she keep saying she can cook a great curry crab which I doubt her father cooks for her all the time.
No scotch bonnet?🤨
Oh God! after 5 decades on this planet ,i now learn how to make a good curry goat ,fantastic, thanks.
