I went to a Nigerian brother's house. He married a Jamaican woman. She gave me curry goat in a pack when I was going home. .. that thing smell so good in the car as I was driving... I couldn't take it.. I ate half of it before I got home 😅😅 ..it's been maybe 10or 11 years now and I still remember
Im Nigerian and have been looking for the recipe for this but every picture I saw the gravy looked watery 😩 But as soon as I saw the picture of yours, I knew I was in the right place! 😍 Thanks for sharing 🤎
Racquel I had a little dinner party yesterday and used your recipes to make oxtail, curry goat, rice and peas, and your fried chicken recipe. My dear sweet sis I must tell you my party was a huge success. I received so many compliments. Everyone helped themselves to 2nd and 3rd servings. Some even took some home with them. Thank you so much for always sharing such delectable and percise recipes. You are absolutely awesome 🤝👍💃 May God continue to bless you 🙏 Lots of love my darling ❤🇨🇦
I just made this, the aroma omg am sure the whole neighbourhood is hungry for some. Very authentic indeed, that green seasoning and jerk seasoning is the secret I’ve been missing❤. Thank you for sharing👌🏾
I lived in Toronto in the 80s and ate curry goat with rice and peas about once a week...it was so good. There was also a Trinidadian place I used to go to where we'd get Doubles (curried chick peas in a pastry ) or a goat roti. Awesome.
My boy just made this and I gotta say it's the madest badest flavor ever. Too nice xxxxxxx big up the cheff... can taste the love in this dish... xxxxx
Thank you for making this video 😭😭🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 I’m tired of feeding my Jamaican fiancé Haitian food and Jamaican oxtail. Now I can finally make this for him 😂😂😂😂

I made this for my husband who said it’s the best curry goat he’s EVER had! My daughter is in love. You need a cookbook sis. THANK YOU!!!
@@earlethecanadian5470 I enjoyed it greatly. The meat was the most tender meat I have ever had and I mean to try even more authentic Jamaican food very soon. 😊

@@RacquelsCaribbeanCuisine I continue to make this every 2 weeks it is too good!! Thanks again, this recipe is incredible!!! I love to put big chunks of potato and carrot in as I am on a weight cut and let me tell you Racquel it is amaaaaazing and helps me eat less rice alongside lol :D
I made a pot of this for my son who’s a foodie and very critical. He texted me the following while he was eating; “H@ly s-it!! 10/10!!!!” The only thing I did was let the goat simmer longer before adding coconut milk, based upon one of the comments about 1 hour not being long enough.
Wow it's so lovely n excellent choice meals at tempting mouth watering Mutton curry mix recipe n supper results Huh Racquels 2 good!!! Yuup from Tanga Tanzania
Wow, this was a wonderful video. I'll plan soon on making it this way, with some or most of those ingredients. So, you only cooked it total for about 2 hours? Is that enough to get it to kind of fall of the bone or be "tender" at least theN?
Dear Rachel, I can't wait to try your version, next time.. Hopefully, I will find your ingredients (curries, jerk season etc.) The coconut milk will be canned though.. God bless you. I subscribed ‼️✨️👏
I’m Jamaican and my curry and oxtail Cook soft and nice in half the time my mother cook it when I use this technique that my Dad taught me if you do it right it already half cook before the water add … my mother doesn’t do this she just a add water and let it slow cook .. different techniques same outcome … I’ve done them both my whole life
Ive followed this recipe and its the best curry goat ive ever had and the meat is nice and tender. The marinade time helps tenderize the meat as well as the frying before the water. Trust this recipe does the goat justice!

The dry jerk gives the goat meat a great flavor, all the authentic ingredients, but you could use the regular meat or all purpose seasoning

Hi deary, I am not sure how much you are making, but 1 cup of coconut milk would be good 👍🏾

Hi Racquel ammo try your recipe. Will Maggi jerk seasoning do?
Yes but it tends to be salty, be mindful of that
I will try
No goat meat takes 45 mins.. looking at about 2 hrs!
The horrible one that they have here in the uk takes about 45 mins without pressure cooker. That's why I miss my Jamaican goat meat.
