I've since realised that the box states that the 5°C max setting for the alarm can be modified. I'm not sure how but I might look into it and I will update if I find anything out
I upgraded my Corn Snake's Vivarium last year and upgraded my Royal python's vivarium this year.
I was buying alot, including new enclosures, new heating, new lighting etc. I also needed to upgrade to dimming thermostats and so I included enough money in my budget for the industry standard Habistat classics.
Eventually I decided I wanted to start dropping temperatures at night. I began wanting the microclimate evo thermostats but I was put off by the rumours of bad quality touchscreens and most of all the price. I then found the Habistat digital dimming thermostats which looked fantastic but unfortunately they were out of stock everywhere at the time and again I was put off by the price. It's not that my snakes aren't worth the price tags because they are. But I had a budgeted for a lot more than just thermostats and I didn't want to sacrifice other things for the sake of dropping night temps. So I knew I was going to have to stick to the Habistat classics.
Then I came across the NEOREP stats. At first I thought they were a con. They were sitting in the list on Amazon amongst all the other brands I'd never heard of. I don't know about you but I don't buy any unbranded electronics from ebay or amazon and I'm suspicious of brands I've never heard of. But curiousity got the better of me with this one.
After finding out they were a British company with their own online store, I became less suspicious and more intrigued. So after some time of umming and ahing I decided to just buy one straight from their website and I have to say I'm glad I did!

It's a great video, though I'm stuck seeing my daytime temp at between 49 and 50c. Everything else seems great. How do I get that temp down, or is that simply what it will get up to if you let it? Cheers. Steve.

What I didn't like and find confusing is, that although you appeared to be adjusting the day time temp, only the fractions of time were adjusting, not the main number, so you were going between 26 and 27 using the fractions or decimals. My temperature is set at 50 and all I can do is what you are doing, going between 49 and 50, when I want to set it at 32 for my tortoise. Can anyone help me set my day time temp to 32 please.

I can’t get bulb number 1 flash so as a result I can’t set it

The bulb symbol will flash when the timer is running and powering something.
In order to set the timer, you need to adjust TIMER 1 ON and TIMER 1 OFF. Also make sure that you set TIMER 2 ON and OFF to the same times (E.g Timer 2 on - 00:00 Timer 2 off - 00:00) to deactivate it.

To be fair, the habistat version of this has a very similar probe and is dearer. The non digital habistat ones also have much sturdier probes. I haven't tried these yet but might well after watching this. How long is the sensor probe wire though?

Not sure exactly on length, but they're pretty long. I'd say at least 3ft

I've found that over time they do start getting behind on time. But it takes a while to notice. Other than that minor issue I've had no problem with them.
