  • NEOREP Digital Thermometer & Hygrometer Combo
This device can be used to read the temperature and humidity inside your reptile's enclosure, aswell as the temperature in your room. It features a spring loaded clip / kickstand, independent probes for both temperature and humidity (each with 3ft of length), and is powered by a single AAA battery.

I got the 4 pack. I'm trying to troubleshoot my new incubator for eggs! I put 6 different type digital/electrical (some w/cords, some battery op.) hygrometers to the damn incubator and they all say a different story apart 2-3 degrees in temp, and humidity is somewhat correct. The temp. is more important. I just got on day 7 the 4 pack minis. Then I added 2 from the 4 pack mini hygrometers into the incubator. Yeah. They say different stuff. Ball park: I'm seeking 99.5F, 55% humidity ideally. I set the incubator at 101, no leaks I can find (although I was told it should be 100F, with a high of factory 103F, but I'm hatching game bird eggs, not chickens), and the best hygrometer temp. is the one I got with the 3 red dots on the bottom part of the unit that does C/F degrees, Min/Max and In/out. (now I'm getting perve thoughts, that's how tired I am!!!) lol!
My head is exhausted! F-this! I'm at day 7, and a basic fluctuation of 98-102F (wanted also at 37C) with a need for 55% humidity which varies from 40-70% since the piece of crap incubator I got only has a guess-it-water-tray-thing!!! That's why I went crazy and got so many different temp./hygrometers from different companies along with even a digital roasting thermometer (?!!!) [for a private joke I put it on poultry, it doesn't matter since I'm going for ambient temp. anyway] which also told me basically the same story!
It's the +/- 1 to 2% B.S. that is screwing with my poor little nearly obsolete head!!! Shit!
Any suggestions? I swear. I just round it all off. But.......

I'm not sure I understand but you will always get up to 1 or 2 of a degrees difference between thermometers and up to 5% difference between hygrometers

@@itsasnakeslife1775 Thank you for responding. I also have had many a snake, but am trying to incubate these eggs. Sorry to be so confusing. I was exhausted. I love the 3-dor red button hygrometer/thermometer. I will get more, no doubt. I was just and kinda still am, in a scary situation when I found out the incubator I got wasn't equipped with a built-in temp. gauge or humidity sensor. It was factory pre-set. It "says" what number you punch into it, and the defaults can be changed: But not without a proper working hygrometer/thermometer.
I'm shooting for 37.3 or 5 in Celcius or 99.5 in Fahrenheit. Humidity: must be "around" 55%. So far, my meter with the 3 red dots finally reads consistently 37.6 C at 55-60% Humidity. I was just wondering why all the discrepancies with all the meters I bought and simultaneously hooked up to the machine. They all are off by 3 digits. The incubator had to be set to 101F to keep a hydrometer reading (3 red dots one) of 37C and 55% Humidity. I hope this makes sense because I hope I don't end up with dead or deformed chicks! This is really difficult, hence my mental exhaustion. Thank you for your input! I really appreciate it! Any ideas based on my clarification is also appreciated, and thank you!!!

The screen that stands on top of your vivarium has an internal thermometer (IN) that measures room temperature. The probe on the end of the wire used to measure your enclosures temperature is the OUT reading. Hope that makes more sense. It's confusing I know.

Thanks man! I have it for 2,5 monhts right now and it’s not working good anymore. The thermometer works great! But the hygrometer not, it says 24% humidty in my room. Do i need to calibrate it? Thanks.

Just make sure the thermometer is set to OUT for your enclosure temperature and you're done
