Check out "deep creep" penetrant spray by seafoam. That stuff makes wd-40 seem like water when it comes to getting through rust and getting things loose.

One of the things I have from my brother after he passed was his Zippo lighter. I would be honestly so proud if this was his and someone was actually able to bring it back to life. Amazing! I even have his old leather case for his zippo!
I think the lighter was left on a table in the garage & it got knocked off onto the dirt floor, kicked under the workbench. Lost for 35 years - found when someone cleaned out the shack & finally made it's way to you for an Awesome Restoration.
Am the only one that finds watching this Chanel very tranquil ? I absolutely love what this guy does and I thinks it’s extraordinary to bring these ornamental pieces back to their prime but there is something so peaceful enjoyable and tranquil when I’m watching this channel
That's one thing I wish I had a sand blaster i would use a bench grinder with a wire wheel and various drills with wire brush attachments and dremel to polish

@@J-B-P Because it doesnt work the best to spray the lighter fluid directly onto the felt. You want the inner cotton material to be staurated to hold the fluid. But trust me, use that little port to fill your lighter. As soon as the level rises to fully saturate the felt you are done.
