Yep, I’ve got a Zippo lighter that I found while in the US Marines. I was sleeping on the floor at an airport during a flight layover, on my way to a duty station. That being said it could have been anyone's because, if I went to war I wouldn't be a medic, but I sure as hell would have a lighter like that.

Hey man, thank you so much for this video. At 1.15, you suggest to use fire to loosen the grip. I tried it with a grinder which had the disk locker utterly completely stucked. WD40 and anti rust liquids weren't enough, and I put lots of them. But fire.... Man !! Thank you ! 5 min under 500° C and it lost the grip. I got my grinder back thank to your tip !!! You are awesome. I believe restoration and reparation are the lifeblood of the next generation ! Therefore, that makes you a leader ! Keep on going !!
I think it would have looked better with the red. I TOTALLY understand the reasoning behind it but the cross before was still red...think it would have popped more
I imagine the solider that lost this lighter absolutely shitting himself at that thought that 60 years in the future, a man assisted by a robot would restore his trusty old light.

Dann De Dooie Only zippo brand flints. If you rob a flint out of a bic lighter and put that in it will dissolve in the lighter fluid.
Why you need to put there a spare flint?
I own a zippo and I can tell you that I can't imagine any other lighter in my hands except zippo, it's like the part of me, the video is excellent and I really like your channel, thank you for all the great videos it is a pleasure to watch them.
thanks a lot, yes Zippo's are great lighters
"ths lighter is in good shape"
the lighter: doesn't even look like a lighter
😂
Wow! It means I’m in good shape too🤣
legit right before the caption said that i thought "the lighter is so broken", but then it's in a good shape i guess lmao
I love how he has cool transitions and great editing. He also seems to be having fun while producing this great content . Awesome

"The lighter is in good shape"
Yeah, That's how you know he knows what he's doing....
Absolutely stoned out of my mind and this was just the thing to bring me back down. This channel is absolutely incredible. Your editor needs a raise. 😂
Lol me too
Same
This is a sold fact
I was just as impressed with the editing as the project itself
Hey man, thank you so much for this video. At 1.15, you suggest to use fire to loosen the grip.
I tried it with a grinder which had the disk locker utterly completely stucked. WD40 and anti rust liquids weren't enough, and I put lots of them.
But fire.... Man !! Thank you ! 5 min under 500° C and it lost the grip.
I got my grinder back thank to your tip !!!
You are awesome. I believe restoration and reparation are the lifeblood of the next generation ! Therefore, that makes you a leader !
Keep on going !!
thanks a lot for your comment I am glad this could help you :)
This looks like the guy repairing woody in toy story
that was oddly satisfying too in some way lol
Sergio Bicerra
Watch your phrasing there buddy 😅
ahahahahhaha your right dude 😂😂😂
I just heard the song 🎵 from that scene in my head
I'm having flashback right now and oh, imagine that repairing woody theme playing in this video!
episode 15327 of: "Where has quarantine taken me today"
I’m really bother that the original version had a pungent red cross in the middle but when restored the red colour was completely gone. 😕
ye its not 100% restored rhen
@@MichelleTopham It just feels purposeless if you're not truly restoring what made it unique
Maybe the colour was changed because a red cross on white circle is copyrighted by Swiss Red Cross Organization (afaik).
@@olegmukhin there was a way of restoring it and preserving the cross.
@@olegmukhin possibly but i doubt they would sue him because he has grounds to say he did it to preserve the memory of the organization
تلك الاشياء القديمة رائعة... شكرا لك مارتن على ترميمها انت بارع ورائع 🌷
Why the hell is this so satisfying to watch
Its art
Asmr
Got the tingles fo sho
The way you don’t overlook even the smallest of details is amazing. Incredible job on this piece 💜
Mystera hi bb
Yeah it's amazing
carefully paints the symbol
1 minute later: let's burn it now
I think it would have looked better with the red. I TOTALLY understand the reasoning behind it but the cross before was still red...think it would have popped more
Your Dedication towards your work is highly appreciated.
thank you so much
I imagine the solider that lost this lighter absolutely shitting himself at that thought that 60 years in the future, a man assisted by a robot would restore his trusty old light.
Haha! Love this.
I'm sure you mean "soldier"not "solider" ya... I was that soldier..
Abungmei Dangmei You we’re the soldier? Was this your old lighter?
joshman501 yeah I want to know also. That would be awesome if he were and got his lighter back!!!
Abungmei Dangmei stfu, no you’re not. You look like you’re 15.
*looks like a zombie lighter*
“Lighter is in good shape”
He has seen worse, i guess
Ratheesh Rajendran i think its because it was able to be repaired. Some stuff must be or have irreparable parts
@@Florida_954 that's right. He still did a good job. Gave the lighter an antique touch
I was thinking that the lighter came back from a freaking zombie apocolypse and he is saying its in good shape
Shape , not condition.
Zipping, there is no substitute. I just recently sent my 20 year old back to Zippo for repair. They replaced the hinge and new inards as per their policy it was all free and they did an outstanding job . As you have !
that is so cool that they do this life warranty 😊 thanks for watching my video
“The lighter is in good shape”
The lighter:
The lighter:"Please kill me! I'm in constant pain!"
Awesome Restaurations:"Calm down, daddy is home!"
Please give me the name of the first song
