I keep rewatching this video. Thanks to you and your solo motorcycle vids one of the biggest dreams is to tour northern europe on a motorcycle. One day!
Outstanding drone footage. Because you're not yelling at the microphone, we can fully appreciate the nature sounds and the exhaust. Soft commentary works brilliantly, thank you!
Thank you for taking me to Iceland this afternoon! Laid up in bed recovering from surgery for the next three months, so I’m happy that I found your channel. You’re very talented with making these videos! Excellent work!
For a Norwegian, Iceland suits you well. I have been to both Norway and Iceland and I think both countries are absolutely great for their natural beauty. The landscapes are phenomenal!! I am glad to be able to join you on this new adventure. I am really looking forward to the next episode. Ride safe and enjoy!!
Thank you for sharing the breathtaking footage of Iceland's landscapes. It was such an enjoyable road to ride on with an adventure bike. It makes me crave being in the midst of nature. I look forward to more beautiful footage and adventure stories from you in the future.
Did it once too. Have a fond memory of the salmon, very cheap, really good, that you can buy pretty much everywhere and that we ended up cooking pretty much every evening.
You´re so sweet!! Thanks for sharing your trip for all of us biker that are grounded for whatever reason. Is so sweet to travel alongside you and how you explpain all the details of the geography and the weather. Talking about your thermal protection for your hands, There are some proper hand guards for winter that doesn allow wind or rain to go to your gloves, search for them. BLessing and all the best for you!!
Its always a pleasure to watch your video because you are always cheerful even in facing the unknown. Just admire your courage and resilient in solo adventures. I believe you are tougher than many guys out there. Be safe.
Absolutely love your travels! The joy you exhibit, the sense of sharing the experience with is, and the great videos all make it so wonderful. Thanks!!
Scenery-wise, I have always found my native Iceland to be Norway's tiny brother, our main redeeming feature being that trees rarely get in the way of the view wherever you go. We are also "bigger" that our bigger cousin Norway when it comes to unreliable weather. I found your comments regarding the good weather forecast when you were riding away from Seyðisfjörður SOOO Nordic: Let's count our blessings only when we have actually seen the forecast come true!
In my opinion, Iceland has SO much more to offer than Norway, but maybe I'm just spoiled from living here! I appreciate the nordic nature, even if it comes with the cost of unpredictable weather. It's part of the adventure - makes you enjoy the sunny days even more 😊
Ms Runa I personally feel that you are a lucky personally. God has blessed you with courage confidence and determination attributed with hard work ice land travelling seems to be challenging. Thank you For the courtesy for showing this cold area of the world take care of yourself
Take 10-15 psi out of your tires on loose surfaces. You will double, or triple, the contacyt patch. Just be sure to air up when you get back to asphault. A sharp turn, or manuver, can pull the tire's bead off the rim. Not a problem on dirt, only of stick ysurfaces.
Borgarfjörður eystri on your first day in Iceland… what a treat! It looks like the mountain pass to get there is no longer gravel? Hope you got to visit Álfaborg and perhaps enjoy the great hospitality at Álfacafé, where their lamb soup with paprika is a treat for weary travellers.
Life itself is a journey and adding to it in a journey is the most enjoyable and stories to tell or remember sweet memories while at the end of the journey.
Looking forward to watching this series. Have visited Iceland 🇮🇸 6 times and it’s my favourite country to visit. Wonderful landscapes and scenery. My 2nd favourite is Norway 🇳🇴
Just discovered your channel Runa, after watching the 1st episode, I can truly say it's a breath of fresh air. So nice to see a stripped back natural flow of a motorcycle travel adventure, you made me & no doubt others feel we were there with you experiencing the splendour of the scenery. Looking forward to seeing more, well done. Daz.
Hi Nice to see a beautiful young lady back on her bike what a great video I can't wait to see all the other videos and keep them coming have a safe trip xxxx
Delightful. Especially enjoyed the moment when you hit the loose stuff for the first time@*?! Can’t wait to see the rest of Iceland. I’m sure it will be amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Runa. We are all locking forward to your tripp on Island. But we are hoping that you check your compass... Anyway it is locking fantastic. Kempe-geat. Drive safe.
If you want epic - trans-Himalaya. Start off in Chandigarh head over Sach Pass, SUral Bhatori then around past Keylong, over Shinku La Pass explore Zanskar for a few weeks, past Kargil and then north of Leh, then back south over Moore Plains, take the left before Rohtang Pass to Losar then a few weeks exploring the side valleys of Spiti
another great Video , Good of you to watch the road because of sheep . I once came around a corner on a back road , there were a lot of Pigs on the road , I thought that's a lot of Bacon . , can't ride at the moment as all the passes are closed here in western Canada , but I do have a Mtn. bike also . my First look at Iceland through your Vid.
Hahah 🥓 😂 Yeah best to keep the eyes on the road, never know what surprises shows up around the next corner! Hope you'll like the rest of the show Wayne! Canada looks amazing to ride in too.
Beautiful moto vloging plus the background instrumentals were so soothing to ears.... and also the breathtaking landscapes are just mesmerizing. Love from INDIA.
Absolutely brilliant, really enjoyed that, looking forward to the next videos. Two and half days on the ferry!!!! Liked your words when you started on the gravel. 🏍🏍👌👌
Favourite moments in the video, the gravel...f#@king hell, and the clouds...it might seem strange. Gorgeous scenery 😍 Loving this new series already! ♥️📷🏍️💕
Biker camaraderie is something else, as soon as bikes are parked everyone start chatting, if it was by car, it would be completely different. Great episode Runa, thanks for sharing such awesome journey, can't wait for the next ones!! 👍👍
My wife layed her Rebel500 down in a roundabout. I was like 50 m behind her. Before I could enter the roundabout, there were a 60+ biker and a ~25y/o superbike rider in that scene blocking off the whole traffic and seeing to her and her bike. Man... cameraderia among bikers is just something else.
Hi Runa, I'm slowly working my way through your Iceland videos, just wonderful epic scenery, your commentary is sublime and so engaging to listen to, music is terrific. I've been riding motobikes for many decades now, since the age of 13 and your videos are a real treat to watch. I feel just like I am riding your bike, you have an excellent sense of what to capture in your videos. Your comments when you are on gravel are so amusing, dont be afraid of it, it makes you a better more skillfull rider. Soon you will have one foot down and sliding through corners no worries !! Happy trails from Australia. 🤩😊
I was able to enjoy a trip abroad in front of my computer. Thank you for letting me enjoy this wonderful trip to the sea and the highlands. From the rider of other side of the earth.
Well I was stunned by your first video. I was completely unaware of your channel, but I was already won over, both by what you show and how you detail your adventures in a simple and fun way, as well as the landscapes. Last year I was in Denmark for a week and fell in love with the country and the culture.
@@Mowser63 also check her gloves, they are definitely not Klim, why I would be reluctant to be an ambassador to a brand, too many good brands out there, mixing and matching is usually the better option, Girl on Her Bike, Vanessa Ruck mixes her gear, myself I have too many brands lol but they all serve a purpose for different things.
I actually laughed out loud from your response when you went on to the gravel road, as I have said exactly the same too many times. Great videos and envy evoking, but you are inspiring me to get back to traveling on two wheels again.😄
You said the weather changes a lot but have you even been to Transylvania (Romania)? Over there they say if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes. I saw the top of the Transfagarasan disappear in clouds and because of it i booked a room in the hotel just at the start but after diner i witnessed it clear up even faster.
Iceland! Probably I would not have a chance to ride there so I’m really lucky to find this clip. And, you are so cheerful that I can feel relaxed! Thanks for uploading such a nice bike trip.
