Nice build and good tips! Thank you. I want to see more.
Well my framing work is slow right now, but come springtime I hope to start putting out more videos like this…stick around!
Great build, even with the snow. Not taking a guess at that level beam weight!
Booo! You’re no fun!😂
Badass.
Cool 🎉🎉
Great work, great personality, great video man 🤙 no chance at guessing the weight, more than I could lift
I’ll answer the weight in the next video!
Let's BUILD.
LVL weight... Hard to guess not knowing how thick they are but a 19' lenth should be around 1.5" - 1.75" so, I am guessing around 225 lbs each.
Keep it up solo work is easy way to keep track of thing being done right
I'd say both beams to get her 1320 pounds with both neiled together
Yup, that’s exactly why I work by myself now…too much trouble with inconsistent helpers.
1,320? Way too high! The weight is in this video
ua-cam.com/video/lRZ0Oa9UVVk/v-deo.html
It said 66 pounds par foot I took a guess off 20 so I guess about 1320 after it said an done but worth a shot
Yessssss!
Time to build yours dude!!!
@@MyDIYAdventures have you seen how frozen the ground is in WI right now?!?!
No, I can’t see Wisconsin from here LOL
Ohh yeah. Let's do this. Love building things.
And I hate bit coin by the way.
I'm in Germany. Its winter. This sucks too cold. Thinking of Italy. Arizona is good too. Stays warm. I can't work or even barely walk ! In winter in this horrible country.
If you are not going to finish anything inside the garage is the 1/2" osb needed between headers? And if you use an LVL for the front header above vehicle door no 1/2" osb is needed right?
Inspectors here like to see the 1/2 between the headers either way, the LVLs are usually 1 3/4” wide so they fill the full stud width already.
question for you. That concrete pad is it sitting on top of footers? Im looking to DIY my own garage addition but the masonry work is what is giving me concern. Im in upstate NY so the footers have to be 42"
Yes, it’s on a 36” footer.

Merci, Christophe, 👍👍🇧🇪
No, the OSB is actually closer to 11mm…keep in mind building standards in the US are probably considerably different from Belgium!
🌵🌵🌵👍👍👍
I will work with you for free. To learn it and to make connections and other stuff. What state you In. Seems cold though. Oh shit there's snow. ..
I work alone intentionally!
I’m going to say, 1 lvl is 133lbs so 2 would be 266 lbs.
About 180lbs
Close! I think they were 140 or something, I have a video where I said how much they were.
156 each
I forget what they weighed, but I say what it was in this video:
LVL Guess the Weight Winner Announced!
ua-cam.com/video/lRZ0Oa9UVVk/v-deo.html
54 kg
Ugh, now I need to go find my number thesaurus!
Who are these idiots posting this? Who cares the weight. You know what you're doing.
Ah they wanted to win something. ..
300 lbs
300lbs

Here’s the answer:
ua-cam.com/video/lRZ0Oa9UVVk/v-deo.html
150 pounds
New video tonight will have the answer!
Okay I'm going to sound like I'm complaining but maybe I am sorry. In this video you got about 14 minutes of talking and 7 minutes of working in time lapse. It really makes for a boring video. You kind of do that in other videos too. You talk about it then the next scene it's already done. We don't get to see any of the work. Yes I guess I am complaining It's a good thing it's free.
You’re complaining
