Join me for this full guided yoga closing savasana to use at the end of your yoga practice or to use separately as a deep relaxation whenever you need it.
Yogic Savasana provides deep relaxation for the body and calms the nervous system, it is a chance to connect to a meditative element of your yoga practice.
This short guided Savasana practice will take you through a body scan as a form of guided meditation which will guide you into a period of stillness and relaxation.
This follows on from my video which answers why do we Savasana, why its the most important part of your yoga practice and how it improves / deepens your yoga practice

Why Savasana is so valuable: • Savasana
Whether you love or hate Savasana it is a hugely beneficial and vital part of your yoga and meditation practice as savasana is essentially a guided meditation in itself
In a world of fast moving, busy activity Savasana provides an opportunity to reconnect to something long forgotten. It is a chance to counteract and rebalance from everyday life.

🔸Your stress response is calmed and your rest and restore mode is activated - it is long lasting and relaxing
🔸Its grounding, brings you into the now moment and gradually teaches you how to transcend the mind

That was much needed. I used to do this practice all the time and the last week has been very tiring even just resting I didn't feel like I was getting rest so I woke up this morning and was like I'm going to come out to the living room to do yoga and started with this. A beautiful ease into my morning and the thing I love about this pose and practice is that it makes you feel like you got like three hours of good sleep. I heard something like that before

First time here and I'm glad :) I was surprised that the meditation ended so soon and when i retrospect , i was so involved, that I didn't think about time. There is great energy and mindfulness in this session.

Hi Sarah, thank you so much. I've have a really rough week (and month and maybe year) where I've been running from one project to another. I accidentally stumbled across your video and when I was lying down in Savasana and you say "there is absolutely nothing you need to do now... nothing your mind needs to analyse. This is your time to be here and breathe, an effortless moment, a still moment." - I started crying. I have been doing yoga and savasana for years and slowly decreased the regularity because of other responsibilities. I forgot how valuable this stillness is. Or rather, I just became aware to this in that very moment. Thank you.

thank you. kept getting distracted every 2-3 minutes so I will keep practicing. arms and hands went numb so that didnt help, and self soothing tendency was to rock in fetal position side to side stretching the lower back. feel much fresher and calmer after a pretty horrible sleep and emotionally tiring day. will keep practicing on breath focus
