Hi Pete and Partner and animals. I enjoy sooo much your adventures. Thank UA-cam thankyou. As of I visit you Every week. I live In Belgium, and have a little garden. SEe you next time!!!!
Sir I grew up in the 80s & will never forget Mr Roger's neighborhood & how calm, cool & collected his voice as well as presentation & I'd personally say you Pete are the equivalent of Mr Roger's of farming 😁 I readily admit my enjoyment of your channel is a bit nostalgic in a way thanks for your excellent style of sharing your wealth of knowledge & kindness good Sir!
I agree, he could say anything, I love listening to him talk. I'm a 67 yr old female and watched the entire tractor rebuild bcz of his presentation. He's calming, interesting and informative.
Hi Pete, will never get tired of watch rebuild and restorations of tractors, cars, truck, and snowmobiles. A pure north country farm boy in very upstate NY.
I don’t know why taking a tractor apart, then watching it being put back together is so fascinating, but you have the ability to make it so. Born teacher.
"Puttin on a tire always brings out the experts, just like packin' a wheel bearing." -- Pete, this has to be one of my favorite comments ever. Laughed out loud!
Thank you for deciding to show how to put the tires on the rims as I want to learn how to do that. You’re a great teacher and I’m always referring back to your videos to learn and remember how to fix stuff. Super C project looks great! Thanks for another video, Pete!
Again it is alot of work. But very interesting. Suppliers sometimes have trouble securing material and then they tackle the easier order not thinking of their customers needs. Thanks again for including us in your endeavor. Really enjoy it.
Pete I have been laid up awhile for health reasons. I found your channel and really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for providing me enjoyable entertainment, laughs and some great ideas when I’m able to get up and going!
You’re just moving right along on that little tractor. What are you going to do this winter when it is all done? Ha ha! Restoring the old tractors is what caught my eye when I first started watching your channel. It didn’t take me long to realize how much I enjoy seeing your glorious life. You have found the good life. You enjoy it. It brings me joy to watch your channel. Thank you.
Hi Pet I really injoy watching you work on stuff. I find it very relaxing, because you seem to have a lot of swava, because you have done this so many times with your dad. You remind me of, a seventies song 🎵, TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL, ah grasshopper, you have still only snatched, one of the two pebbles out of my hand ✋. And when he is no longer with you, you will still strive for that second pebble!.thank you very much. You have what I have not ever had.
There are enough words to describe your patience and willingness to share your knowledge and skills doing the restoring of those beautiful machines. Love your videos. You and your family take care.
Hi...Pete...Outstanding video again today...a lot of learning to be had here ..I sure enjoy all of your channel subjects that you provide to us...Enjoy your week..
I just can't believe how much thinking and tolerances went into making those tractors. It was just made to last. I think they will be a treasure 100 years from now. Your kids kids show off your Handy work you have done. How you have all that knowledge you have. Neal
Pete, thanks for the videos. My brother and I farm 200 acres and appreciate your simplicity. There is no need to make things over complicated, enjoy, have fun, and love what you do! I will say my love for "antique" tractors is far greater than my brother's, but we don't always agree, and that's ok.
Good morning, Pete. Wanted to say hi!! I have so much admiration for your talent of rebuilding your tractors, and your home. You would be the first person I would "pick your brain" for help-
I appreciate you posting these videos (ALL of your videos actually!). It’s so good being able to see what goes into this style of restoration. I particularly like your presentation, and explanations.
Hey Pete, Just a note to say how I enjoy your videos, brings back tons of memories as my DAD loved Farmall tractors. We had a H, M and a 1938 John Deere A. Also a Ford 9N. Keep up the good content, love your stuff and especially the Super C project.
Great job in packing the wheel bearings. I have many years in the automotive trades and you do it the same way I did it. Love the paint job.Turned out beautiful.
Hello to Pete and family, from another Pete and our family! My wife and I enjoy watching you videos, and I often have the thoughts of “what if.” As I have always enjoyed the outdoors and much smaller scale farming and gardening. Wish you all the best, an to a continued success and happiness!
Thanks Pete, love the Super C video. It was nice meeting you yesterday at the farmers market, I’m looking forward to the chicken for next Sunday’s dinner! Have a great day.
Hello Mr Pete.. tks for the share. I do enjoy the tractor videos. Brings back memories and things that I forgot that I learned on my rebuilds with my Dad and uncle.
I am looking forward to seeing the new tires go on. I am overdue for new rear tires and I look forward to seeing how it’s done. I received some old handed down tools and I found a few combination wrenches that are made specifically for square bolt heads. These could come in handy.
You do some really great work on the restorations, love that your doing the wheels, doing the tire mounting yourself. She's a coming right along, I like watching these restoration videos, you do an awesome job at explaining what your doing step by step. Thanks Pete for sharing your time with us, I hope you have a nice week ahead.
Pete, your tractor disassembly/assembly videos are the best. Your calmness and understated expertise are the reasons I prefer to watch your channel over all others. Thank you for all your dedication to providing excellent content.
I've been watching your videos for a couple months now. Not caught up yet. Thanks for doing these. That Farmall red sure looks like orange in the video. I guess it's the lighting and camera. Thanks Pete!
She is looking better by the day, amazing how having tires installed, even partially, make it look so much more like a tractor. Looking forward to the next installment, have a great day.
Pete, I couldn't find his comment to re-read, but I can't imagine anyone that likes this type of information would not love it!. I find your videos, in the most positive ways, and learn a lot from them. Keep them coming, I will not miss a single one!. Thanks
Yes, made it as first viewer and first thumbs up. Thank you for sharing your life on a farm. Brings back lots of great memories when I visited and help on my uncle’s dairy farm. ❤😊
I was going through withdrawal! Thanks for doing these videos! It reminds me of when i was in my late teens helping my brother work on his 180 and D17.
Wow Pete, the ole super C is looking just fantastic!!.It looks brand new. Just like the MD did when you finished it.the MD wasn't in quite as rough a shape as the C. Well at least in my old 81 year old eyes. Pete I can't wait for you to finish this with all new decals and such. Wow
John not Tamara I'm laying in a hospital bed I knew hadn't posted lately, I was hoping for a rebuild and I found it this morning and decided to watch it again you teach as you go and I really enjoy this it's going to nice to see the super c beside the MD and compare and contrast them love all your videos.
Hey Pete, you're right on regarding packing the wheel bearings. After a career in the auto industry I've seen several wheel bearings fail due to lube issues where the dust covers and inner hub where packed with grease. Like you said, if the grease is hot enough to flow you've got bigger problems! Thanks for the great videos. I think some viewers forget that at the end of the day these are working tractors!:)
brakes are interesting. the beginning of disk brakes for cars. I always hand pack wheel bearings too. I remember welding in a band of steel inside of rusted out wheels. washer around stem. Calcium will do that.
Always enjoy watching your videos your Always very informative and it's really fun watching love all the details sometimes it makes me feel like I'm right there with you keep it up and God bless you and your family
Glad to hear you mention Steiner as a source for tractor parts for long in the tooth tractors. They are local folks and nice to boot. As more and more people go into small scale farming the need for these older beauties will grow. By you doing walk thru basic instructions people will be more willing to give it a try on their own tractors of a certain age. I just hope they have garages half as nice as yours. And the tractor is going to be a head turner.
Hi Pete, I’m a 60 year old woman, I replaces the bearings in my cart using your method! Worked like a charm!! Thank you 😊
Good to see a young lady listening out there 👌
