This former farmer boy ALWAYS enjoys seeing every episode of your channel, Pete!!! You're a GREAT man, my friend, and over a quarter million of us really appreciate all you do!!! ;o)
Over 330 thousand subscribers and heading to 500 thousand.
Where do you get all your knowledge you are super teacher keep it up
Being an ole time service person, luv the fact you are so methodical. Might take a bit longer, but you know the job is correct. Goes along with the old saying" If you don't have time to do the job right the first time, how will you have time to correct your mistakes/problems a second/third time." 👍💪🙏
Pete love all the restoration videos keep making the best restoration videos on UA-cam.
I would never imagined a architect explaining me the finesses of changing tractor tires. Thank you Pete!
I never thought I would enjoy watching someone mounting tractor tires but Pete makes it interesting and informative. Love the tractor restorations!!!
😂😂😂👍
Pete is a national treasure. I have rewatched each of these Super C videos a dozen times.
Young dog just taught old dog new tricks. Didn't know about the baby powder and the visegrip trick. Those are going to come in handy as I have several tires which I am going to be putting tubes in here in the near future. She's looking really good so far. Great job young man.
Nice to see you back at it with the super cant wait to see it back together and working great job pete thanks for sharing
Thanks Pete, it makes my day watching you work on the tractor.
I put those Titans on my H and they are great. Awesome traction even plowing. Way better than the Firestone’s that pre-dated my existence!
Thank you again so much for your videos, I work for a tree service and just got home, made me so happy to see your new video!
I want you to understand just how happy you make all of us with your content. Please keep being you! And thank you again!
Golly, you managed to get that tire on that rim without any special language haha. I can't always guarantee that when I do the same operation with my farm trailer tires.
Looking good, it's coming right along. You know I had someone do the rear tires on my John Deere 1020 and it cost about a quarter of the overall cost for just labor alone, so you saved yourself a good chunk of money. Good one, thanks Pete, have a nice day.
Job well done, Pete. I really enjoy your tractor restoration videos. There's something about preserving these old gals that just feels good.
Pete, sometimes you make it look so easy, but love seeing each video and the different projects you and your family work on together.
Seems every older guy i speak with says LUBRICANT is KEY!!
Love to see these old Farmalls being brought back to original condition, Thank you so much Pete.
On my motorcycle I found it easier to blow up the tube first, let most of the air out of it, then put it on the rim. This helped to prevent folds in the tube. Once on the rim I'd let all the air out to make getting the second bead on the rim.
Woo the Tires are here! The Tires are here! Always a good day when the Tires are here!
Beautiful job Pete, you certainly know how to do tractor stuff.
Great work on tractor. I have done it both ways. mounted my own several times. I have a manual tire changer for car size tires and have done several front tires through the years. Last year I had the tire guys do my rears on one tractor because getting older and back problems so I guessed it would be cheaper to pay there than at the chiropractor. HAHA . Looking good.
I run a tire shop and you did an excellent job explaining and installing these tires. Everything you did is exactly what we do! Excellent job! 💯
Pete, your video made me “TIREd” today!!!!
I love that vice grip trick....
Neat tip for DIY viewers!
Great job can’t wait for more tractor videos!
Saving a piece of IH heritage very NICE!
14min. 348 on the thumbs up scale. I'm closing the gap. It wont be long till I'm number one. Selfish, yes. What a great ...GREAT JOB! I can't wait to see you proudly drive it down the street.
Great job Pete. Straight forward teaching.
You are doing an incredible job with that Super C...looks Awesome!
Neat trick with the vice-grip. At 74 yrs. old ,it's not too late to learn something new.Enjoyed the video.
Pete I always enjoy how you show us the basic steps on the things you do and also the tips like using the vice grips on the rim.
Having done this years ago I can't believe how easy (and fun!) you make this look!
Pete, that was great...! I never saw any tire go on a rim that easy...! I used to do Logging truck Tires up in Maine, some were split rim but a lot were NOT...! =) She's looking better all the time, nice work and you pay attention to detail..! Awesome...! =)
Good morning Pete looks good
I never get "tired" of these videos....😎
Awesome 👌 I change tires on my, but don't use tubes. When you're changing 8 drive tires it's gets to be some back breaking labor. Little different situation, but the concept is the same. Great job as usual Pete. Let me know when you're ready and I'll bring my M up that was my grandfather's who passed it on to me and let you restore it like this. Lol. Peace be with you and your family and keep up the great work! 👍
I always enjoy your videos, but especially the tractor project videos!
That was great Pete. You make it look so easy. Reminds me of changing tires on my bike years ago!
Wow! I hit the jackpot!. I got on and went looking for this video and low and behold I found one for a Farmall Cub restoration also!. So watched that, and then booted this up. and as usual enjoyed every minute of it of course. I have to admit it brought back a lot of memories. watching this. I"m old enough to remember changing and fixing car tires, truck tires long before tubless tires became the norm. everyone back in the 40's and early 50's had all the needed tools and accessories to pull a tire. break it down. patch the hold with the patching kit. in the little round can. put it back together again same process as we seen here just smaller tire. and then get the hand pump (bycylce pump most times, foot hand job, and after mounting it blowing it up drop er down and away we go!. can't count the amount of flats and new tires I've mounted in my day. loved every minute of this. Why? because I sipped my coffee and watche you do all the work Pete. with great expertise I might add. thank you so much for sharing. ECF
She's rolling, time to get smoke! Looking good...have a great day see you next time.
Your at the best point with assembly that I enjoy the most,I did with my fords, finishing was the best for me,I’m sure Pete you feel it coming on. See ya.
Your patience is priceless. I need to hire you to come help mewatch paint dry and tell stories :) !!!
Even though I'll never be in this situation, still learned a lot. Cheers mate
Lot easier watching you do it then me. I just did the same thing this weekend to some 70 year old firestone. Coming off was my issue haha
I’ve been watching too much of the Tire Doctor here in UA-cam, I was expecting Pete to throw the spoon on the ground and do a little dance when he was all done!
Hilary will make me go back outside to work more if I walk in not dirty.. 🤣🤣🤣 ♥️
Damn Pete, your Super C is looking great. I can't wait to see it done.
...and when you rotate the tires, use a diagonal pattern. Accurately keeping track of the 5000 miles is important too 😂😂
Not exactly my favorite thing to watch, and it beats the "news" by a thousand percent. Thank you.
Pete, you do a great job with your work and your explanations. It's so gratifying to watch.
Thanks Pete, I watched this when it originally aired but needed a refresher since I'll be putting the tire on my Ferguson 35 rears. Always good for a refresher.
I love seeing you working on your tractors is very soothing.
JUST A BIG THANK YOU PETE.
Pete you made that look easy
Looks great those tires ain’t cheap anymore even buying like you did should be able to run those tires for the rest of the tractors life can’t wait to see it finished thanks for sharing
Well, your video certainly makes mounting tires look relatively easy. The vise-grip trick is one I will have to employ the next time I have to change a tire. The baby powder trick is a good one too, and one that I also expect to use when putting tubes in tires. Thank you for posting this video.
I install all my car tires by hand, none have inner tubes. The best part is hearing the PoP when it fully seats. I use Windex as an install lube. Will now be tackling my 12x24 1956 International 300 tires - Thanks so much for this video.
PETE YOU ARE TO FUNNY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS KEEP UP THE GREAT CONTENT MUCH LOVE FROM CENTRAL CALIFORNIA.
Great video as always Pete 👍🏻
Tks for sharing.. it brings back times when my Dad and change tires out in the fields..
She's looking Pretty Pete. Thanks for the video.
It never occurred to me those huge tires could be mounted with simple hand tools. I've put tires on motorcycle rims and it was a bear. This didn't look that much worse. Love the vice grip idea. Never seen that. Well done!
I haven’t read all the comments but one important thing is that rear tractor tires are directional. Good video 😊
I was waiting for the load pop when it seated . We got a little one but I waited in anticipation lol
Moving right along looking good Pete. ❤
Something I've found always helped me was to put enough air in the tube for it to start to take shape, that helps hold it away from the bead so there's less chance of pinching the tube.
You made that look easy. Looks great!
Red, silver and black. Looks beautiful. Great video. All the best 🇬🇧.
Rest assured you just did a better job than any tire shop would’ve ever thought of even doing it.
Hello Pete. I hope you have a great day
I have a small farm, mostly as a time keeper in my early retirement. Not only have I learned a great deal from you, your cadence, voice, and nature have brought me peace on many hard days. I appreciate you and your family. Thank you.
Whelp. My morning is now perfect. Thanks for the great content Pete!!!!
The tractor is looking Awsome you really do a great job on refurbishing them
One of my fondest memories from trips made to my Uncle’s farm, was helping him replace a tube in a rear tractor tire. It was a job and a half! Maybe it was so tough because it was on a green tractor, I don’t know
That went well, like the tractor stand.
Another satisfying video! We had a farmall like that when I was a kid! My dad kept me on it all day but I loved it! Love the old metal!
oui guee was a worm, Oui Guee liked to squirm. Oui Guee crawled upon the railroad tracks, OUI GUEE
We enjoy your channel. We have a small 20 acre farm in GA. GO DAWGS!
Great Job Pete !
Brings back memories alright when l was on the farm Pete , good job 👏 cheers
Obviously not pertinent to this video but I love it when you share farm dinners with us. Mostly to see your different simple recipes. I’ve recently made your Cornell chicken sauce and have done pork chops in the same fashion you do. I am going to make the white sauce for thanksgiving and try it on the turkey.
Love the vice grip idea...wish I had known of that years ago! Thanks Pete
Great instructional video. Neat tip with the vice grips & baby powder. Never thought of that. Perfect restoration. The old gal has a new lease on Life. Thanks Pete.
What no joke? I might have to go to a different site to get my dad joke fix.
Hi pete you certainly are an all rounder i am a bit of a handyman but you are the best. say hello to hilary she is certainly a hard worker too all the best from sydney australia 👍👍
Great job for the old "girl"!!
A workhorse machine with proper care will last for generations!!
this thing will be a working piece of art..love the videos
Morning Pete< love your videos. as a old farm service guy I found it best mounting the rear tires if you put just enough air in the tube to make it stand up, reduced risk of pinching with bar.
Pete that looks like the same lubricant or soap they as they call it to put the ductile iron water mains together with to lube up the rubber gasket in those
Mr. Pete. All I can say is that was poetry in motion. Beautiful tires on a beautiful tractor.
Nice job. I recently failed installing a foam insert in by bicycle tire. Couldn't get the bead set. I had to take the wheel to the bike shop. I will not be replacing tires on my John Deere G myself.
Baby's got new shoes!! I tested a theory once. Swapping M/C tires by hand is a PITA, so, I grabbed an aerosol can of silicone to lube the bead. Sure made the job easier! But, I was smart enough to use a grease pencil to mark the rim/tire. Went on a road trip and checked it. 100hp at the rear wheel, and ridden "spiritedly", the tire rotated on the rim and did away with my perfect balancing job. Ugh. LOL
Learned something thank you kind friend. I never thought to purchase direct for tractor tires!! I would totally install my own or have and do. Just didn't didn't about.... thank you kind friend
Thanks again. Find myself coming back to this video every 6 months for s refresher when I need to mount another tractor tire.
Good afternoon Pete, great job. I'm going to try this on my skidder tire. Thank you Steve from N.B
Thanks for the instructional. I like that vise grip trick, very helpful!
That sure looks good , Pete .
Great job Pete....that tractor is super fine.
Great job cant wait until finished.
Tractor looks beautiful. Love your videos
