This series has been more entertaining than any television show I've seen in the last 5 years. Thank you so much for sharing. I'll never rebuild a tractor, but I have enjoyed learning the history, mechanics, and process watching you restore the Super C.
OMGHGGOOOSH PETE ! wow ! We're just sitting here watching you and thevmagnificent job you did in stripping off the sheet metal hood.. grill ...and gas tank ! Holy Wah ! I love when you said the hood was buggered up ! ! 🤣🤣🤣 we haven't heard that expression in years ! You do great work ! Great install on the screening inside the grill ! One bone to pick 🦴...WHERES YOUR JOKES ! Hellllooo...they made our day and cracked us uo...especially the way you tell them ! Y'all are good eggs ! Nice to see Grace b4 and her knowing the names of the chickens ! 🐓 🙂 All of your videos are gems and we sincerely enjoy them and learn from them too. We've been views for several yrs now and always look forward to seeing you and Hil and hearing all you have to share with us ! What a blessing you are ...thank you for al your generous efforts to bring quality viewing to us. 👍 God bless y'all Merry Christmas 🎄 and Happy New Year ! 🎉 from Michigan !
How good was this video? well before I watched it I went out and made a nice mug of Chicken soup, got few crackers. got a fresh cup of coffee, came back in laid all my goodies out, got comfy in the shack (I'm a Amateur Radio op so spend all my retirement in the "Radio Shack" swivel chair and all. then say back and had the time of my life watching and savoring every moment of this video. you sir! are beyond praise!. I'm pushing 80 so no more rebuilding anything for me. If I can't lift it and put it on the bendh it doesn't get done. so small pro-jects is the name of the game for me. so I live vicariously through oyu Pete. thank you so so much for taking the time to make an old man like me so happy. God Speed. ECF
When people see your finished job if they haven’t watched your videos they will have no idea the work involved. She’s going to be a show piece. You won’t want to get her dirty . Really enjoy your channel
The next tractor you do could you show yourself cleaning the paint and rust off the sheet metal? I think it would be neat to see the process you do to clean the metal up.
Painting the underside prevents rust too, from condensation. My father, a diesel and auto mechanic, took the chrome bumpers off his brand new Chevy in 1966 and coated the backs with Rustoleum. 57 years later...no rust, no pitting, just beautiful chrome bumpers. Thank you for these videos Pete. May God bless you and your beautiful family, at Christmas and always
To be honest, your tractor restoration videos are my favorite. I love your attention to detail, and at the same time, not perfection, to some others. Your restorations are perfect for you and I love them. Thanks, as always Pete. From the Crazy Goat Lady in Pavilion.
The tractor looks great Pete is something you'll be proud of now. When Hillary gets on one of her drinking benches hide the keys to the tractor. 😂😂 Just kidding I know she doesn't do that. Always look forward to your videos Pete you and Hillary are a great couple and have a great farm God bless you all.
Pete. Glad to see you post today, it's been 6 days or more since your last post. We were starting to worry something may have happened. Glad everything is good with you and your family. 😀
My mom passed away last week. And watching your videos really helps me alot. I've been watching for a while now. I have been going back and watching again they really help to take me to a different place thank you so much Pete
It's been kinda obvious from the very beginning! Pete you obviously have a great passion for these older machines and it shows each time you have to make repairs or restorations on your Tractors looks amazing 🤩
Good morning Pete, I have my coffee ☕, I'm sitting and I'm watching the video on the super C, the tractor looks awesome keep up the good work. Verne Johnson Farmall kid 63
I remember a auction where there was a pristine 300 Farmall other than it was faded. A old timer commented the farmer didn't have any kids. Thank you Pete. Merry Christmas.
I know you have mentioned in the past that you are reluctant to have your children on camera. But I sure hope you are passing these skills on to the next generation. You are a true craftsman and I look forward to all your uploads. Thank you for sharing you life and skills with us.
Truly a craftsman at work----you can tell by the 'touch'. Beautiful red beastie, Pete! Thanks for bringing us along, again, and a very Merry Christmas to you and your family (critters included)!
I live vicariously through your posts! Being a farmer is a multifaceted career using many talents and I would love to do the same. I’m not begrudging my career, but I just don’t have the time to actually do what you do, but I enjoy watching anyway. Best wishes to you, Pete.
Are you sure like absolutely sure you haven’t done this tractor restoration stuff in a previous life Pete? I love your knowledge and skills so grateful you share this with the world! The best part is you restore the good stuff!! Love seeing red power living on!
The time and work ethic you have is awesome. The tractor is looking great. Can't wait to hear it running again. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Pete- you know that feeling when you buy something new (like your truck) and you want to keep it perfect for as long as possible…..and then you get a dent…….well now you don’t have to worry about it with the “c” you already have a dent…..now you can sleep and not worry about it. I think it looks great, you do a very nice job! Thank you for sharing. Nice video
The warning sticker changed my entire life theory on gasoline and burns. I just never put the two together, lots of painful questions have been answered THANK YOU!!!!
That is just an American work of art and treasure. I can't believe how they were straight forward engineers when building these pushing 100 years old. I shouldn't call it old, she is in fact new. If I had the choice of buying brand new and a full restoration, I would take yours without a thought. I bet every older farmer would look at this like the sports swimsuit edition. Lol. Great job. Neal
All the prep work is what separates the pros from the quickies. Anyone can slap new lipstick on a pig but a takes a true craftsman to make a silk purse out of a sows ear. I love the tutorials and am just about to pull the trigger on my own restoration. Thanks and Merry Christmas!
I'm John Deere all the way but if that Farmall was mine I wouldn't want to take it out of that garage. That's a beautiful tractor.........very nice job!!!!
Merry Christmas, to you and your family, Pete 🎅🌲 I enjoyed watching you do the bodywork on the tractor. I don't think people who've never done it don't understand the importance of the human touch when it comes to funding all the high and low spots you have to feel for. Sometimes the eye can deceive but touch never does. The Super C is starting to look amazing 👏 👏👏👏
Pete, I wish I could like your videos more than one time!! Your content is great. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and can find time to post some this weekend.
Sir when you tire of the farming life, you know you got a job in antique tractor restoration. I'd be willing to bet a collector would pay top dollar for these restored tractor's (someone collects them someone collects everything) you do a darn fine job. you should be proud of your work looks brand new.
WOW.......tremendous amount of work. I so enjoy following this restoration. I don't think I would have patience for the extreme detail but enjoy your patience Pete. It is beautiful and a piece of art. After watching this the new Pig house should be a mansion with all the conveniences .No bent nails....lol. Great job Pete!👍
I don't feel that you need to apologize for the way you do things, though you have been brought up with manners and I understand that as well. It's looking really nice as you progress. I can be patient with ease, because that just means more videos!! Yahoo. Great job and thanks for sharing.
You are a very patient man, it shows. What a great job you are doing on that old girl. I get a kick out of you talking to your self ! because I do the same thing.😊
Just beautiful, your talent and patience is incredible. Once again we are enjoying your videos over a Montana winter. Will wait patiently for the start up . 😂
Finally, something we disagreed on . I love the clickety- clap sound. I still put the can on top. I totally get the radiator screen to . My first one I work on for days. Looked perfect. But looking from the side . You could see everything that you couldn’t! Everyone has there little things. But I sure love your videos. Your family are so sweet. Your channel is my number one favorite. Thanks
The Super C is my favorite tractor in your collection. Have you considered making a Calendar with photos of your collection? I would be a buyer for sure.
Good morning Pete. Another great video. A great example of all American persistence and ingenuity in getting difficult tasks done. Before studying architecture I owned a sign making shop. The skills acquired, drawing and fabrication, set me up to study architecture later. Merry Christmas to you and family. May God Bless all of you.
What a great job you do on those restorations, your a man of intricate detail. I guess anything worth doing, well you know the rest. I really enjoyed this video, thanks for sharing. Keep warm and stay safe, have a great week!
Pete, you're absolutely a legend in old tractor restoration. What an amazing job you've done. You are an idol! Bravo 👏 👏 👏 Merry Christmas to you, Hillary and your kiddos ❤🙏🥂
I like that you do things right. My Grandfather had a Super C and I really liked it. It always started and ran like it should. Thanks for posting. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. : )
I don't know if you read the comments section, but I just found your channel and I really like it! Thank you for the continent! God Bless you and yours.
Pete this series has been so satisfying to watch. You have done such a great job filming and passing on information. Your attention to detail is top notch. Beautiful job and thank you for sharing with us. Looking fwd to the finish.👍👍
If you ever get tired of farming Mr. Pete, you can have a promising future repairing and restoring antique tractors. That sheet metal looks absolutely fantastic! I hope you, Miss Hilarie and the kids have a very Merry Christmas!
Love it !! Looking great . Waiting to fire her up is a great idea. I know I want that to be the last video!! You do excellent work Pete definitely should be proud of yourself!! 💪👍
Wow Pete, the Super C Looks Amazing. Your attention to detail and workmanship really makes your restorations great. I agree with your thoughts about the mufflers, that is what makes restorations fun to look at ... the restorer's vision. Maybe we will see one or two of your restos in Canandaigua next year?
Those mufflers were made from original IH blueprints. You won't be disappointed! And I agree on the rain cap.....they don't belong on anything built before the 60s!
.... excellent ..... mighty fine looking already ..... thx for sharing ... as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....
Looking good, Pete. Like the way you take the time on the sheet metal dings. Look forward to the finish look. Your shop vidios never get old. Merry Christmas to you and Hillary. Stay safe.
Pete, another nice job paying attention to the details. I know you will be satisfied with the end results. Keep the videos coming, because they are very enlightening and enjoyable.
I was thinking of you not long before watching this video. My local Facebook marketplace has two listings. One for a tricycle Super C and another for a cub. Cub comes with almost every attachment (including belly mower). They're going for $1500 each... If I can get the wife to agree I'd love to get one. I showed her your (almost) finished product to show her what the C could look like. Who knows maybe I'll have a Farmall Christmas 🤣
This series has been more entertaining than any television show I've seen in the last 5 years. Thank you so much for sharing. I'll never rebuild a tractor, but I have enjoyed learning the history, mechanics, and process watching you restore the Super C.
This man is an awesome metal worker, he's real good after more than 20, or 30 years,Awesome work Pete, in every phase of the repair work.
I agree more patient than I nice
