she has a podcast, brand collabs, a youtube channel, blog, 1.8 mil followers, a clothing line etc. but ultimately, if she's posting things that people don't like, her following will go down. Social media is everywhere and she's making money from posting pics to instagram, maybe more should adapt instead of complain. also if you think it's easy, it's really not. These people spend hours just to post a few pictures. and YES everything IS based on connections, not sure why you're so surprised. I mean it's honestly no different than being self-employed. Keep it real. So authentic? Really? Danielle photoshops the crap out of her instagram. Go to Getty and BFA and she looks totally different. Which is more ironic when she pushes fitness all the time.
It’s nice to know you don’t have to be drop dead gorgeous to be a social media influencer. She seems like a normal girl who decided to do what she loved and is succeeding at it. Also, good to see she was clothed vs so many people on instagram half naked. Good for her! Be the boss!
This whole thing rubs me the wrong way. She doesn't mention anything about giving back to the world, it's all about nice things, money and media attention. I find influencers who constantly take selfies to be narcissistic. There's no modesty here for sure.
I am small (30k) travel influencer but I also do some fashion posts.. I feel like the new wave of us are trying to actually educate people on topics that we find important.. at lesst im trying.
Garland5 This whole thing rubs me the wrong way because an “influencer” is literally someone with no hard skills, no talent, no nothing. Just look pretty and know how to say airhead shit and post lots of pictures
LOL Just because you get rich doesn't mean you have to share your wealth with the rest of the world.. Sure it'd be nice to give back to the world, but you can do that anyways, you don't have to be rich. Don't EXPECT an influencer to be a role model. They're humans just like us.
She looks like she's in her mid thirties. There's nothing wrong with being in your thirties, nothing at all, but if your in your mid-twenties and you look like in your mid-30s, that's not always a good thing.
The reason why bloggers/influencers are now the go to of brands and designers is because they are cheaper. If they get an actress etc. they would pay them millions, contracts that are so long but limited exposure unless if they are kardashian w/ an everyday show. they can change influencers any time of the day if they don't feel this certain influencer anymore, and the brands get to be exposed more. they can reach every country, like get from asia, europe, usa etc etc
I don't know how I got on this, but I watched it and I have to say... i can't believe this is what the world has come to. I guess I shouldn't be surprised in the era of the Kardashians. I want more depth for myself and my future kids.
That's what I was wondering as well and that's really dangerous considering she might have younger followers. I also find it odd that she talks so much about being authentic and real.
It seems the Insta photos are stretched out vertically? Maybe its her face affixed to a stunt model body....also looks like photoshopped cheekbones. I would just hire models if I were her and enjoy life.

Hats off to her. She saw an opportunity and made it work in a big way. Love that she ends the interview with "being a boss". Sad that people, most of them women, came to this video just to voice negativity. Support a fellow sister, don't drag her down for being successful...she just gained a new follower. :)
So many toxic comments. 😒 I've never seen her Instagram, but she looks beautiful, healthy, radiant here. If she didn't filter herself she'd still look great. I wouldn't begrudge her the success she's legitimately earning, from her consistency and dedication to her brand.

This girl is pure talent ! She has worked her butt off to kick off a career that many people fail at and has been able to succeed in it. Just because she is not in an office from 9-5pm doesn’t mean that she doesn’t work! Try to put yourself in her shoes for at least a week and you will realize that is not as easy or glamours as it seems.
Selling products and taking pictures of yourself is literally what she gets paid millions to do. I do believe that she works hard in the sense that she is constantly contributing to her job/source of income, and basically built her own business off of something so simple. It's rather smart, really... but she sounds smart about the business she's involved in, which is fashion. Seems like she has a passion for it. She sounds very knowledgeable. It's just insane how much money they make off of one post but whatever, that's life. They post, people buy, and that's how this particular market works. It's just such a fake life and those following her I hope realize that if they buy a pair of shoes that she advertises that they won't automatically have this lavish lifestyle.
Yeah I think you made a fair point but another thing with her is she has been very consistent across the years that's also what counts. People need fashion recommendations so they will get it from someone, may as well be her.
Something that she glazed over in her coming-up story is how she survived in NYC for 2 semesters blogging. Was she already making enough money off her blog to live? Or was she being funded by wealthy parents who could afford to support a child in one of the most expensive cities on earth, with the constant rotation of new items needed to jumpstart a blog?
Take it how you want to, but these girls are entrepreneurs. Who knows what they do with their money or what kind of philanthropic hobbies they have going on behind closed door. This is the new wave of business.
The fact that she constantly has to say she’s “real” reaffirms she’s not, and she knows it. Lol this is a joke. I’m ready for this Instagram craze to be over.
I am not trying to be mean about her. I am exasperated that money changes everything. There are other influencers similarly making loot from liquor brands. Just shocking how near impenetrable industries now suck up. Social media ain't that great. It is making local monsters out of everyday people. Nothing worse than a "friend" with 300 likes to another selfie on Facebook thinking she has celeb status.
Influencer marketing will still be here for the coming years and it looks like it's going to stay for a very long time. To avoid working with fake influencers platforms such as the _influencerauditor_ can definitely help in identifying the real and the fake.

This fur coat makes me wanna throw up Her soul is not very pretty i find, i was happy to see this video and realize the gap between the character and the instagram account
Always loved her style but I‘m truly disappointed how much she photoshops herself in her instagram pictures .. She looks like a different person in this interview! Such a bad example for younger girls who look up to her! Just the reminder we needed to acknowledge the fact how fake social media is ..
For someone with such a sense of fashion, everything she wore looked A) Strangely unattractive, like unfurled paper clips dangling from her ears and B) Oversized, but not in a good way. Weird sleeves that pouffed out from her arms as if to cover a disfigurement. A jacket that looked like a cheap blanket sewn together by a novice. An expert?
she seems awesome and real. thank u for disclosing your percentage. like 99.9% of influencers WOULD NEVER say what it is. i never understand why. we obv know you are making a crap ton of money so why be soooo secretive about it

she's unethical for promoting bad companies like h&m and fiji water.
Her outfit she had on in the car interview 🤢
It's ridiculous how much "influencers" make for doing practically nothing
This is so superficial it's sad
This fur coat makes me wanna throw up
Her soul is not very pretty i find, i was happy to see this video and realize the gap between the character and the instagram account
Always loved her style but I‘m truly disappointed how much she photoshops herself in her instagram pictures .. She looks like a different person in this interview! Such a bad example for younger girls who look up to her! Just the reminder we needed to acknowledge the fact how fake social media is ..
So happy to see young women succeed like this but hate to say she looks like she’s in her 40’s I could be the life style. Keep going girl 💪
Why is she getting so much hate? You guys are just jealous you don’t have her job
She is super rude, full of photoshop and copied the design of actually talented people for her collections
i follow justconstructionguy and an egg. just to make fun of those stupid instagram and following people...
An expert?
This is amazing 💕💕💕💕
she seems awesome and real. thank u for disclosing your percentage. like 99.9% of influencers WOULD NEVER say what it is. i never understand why. we obv know you are making a crap ton of money so why be soooo secretive about it
I can’t believe these comments , this is a hard working , self made Women and you are just focusing on her looks . 🙄
She literally rips off other designers designs all the time.
Fun fact: she’s been in a ton of schedules for copying other actual designers designs. Girly is an influencer but a designer she is not.
