Please read this and respond to Ray thank you. I am a 30-year-old male Caucasian. I drink at least three handles to myself 750 mL of hard liquor three times a month sometimes for handles with only 2 to 3 days resting and then back to drinking and I did this for about 4 1/2 to 5 years straight. I would say about 90% of the time I made sure that I was smoking cigarettes at the same time. I wouldn’t smoke weed once I was done drinking about seven hours later and yes my drinking times would last for about seven hours usually starting at 5 PM and ending around 5 AM. Suddenly about 4 to 5 months ago I was sitting down after eating a few tacos at once and I played a video game and randomly damn my heart area has a large shocked feeling and then it felt like my heart was actually tugged downward. The physical feeling of being shocked in the heart area and being targeted down word lasted for about one second completely. Immediately my face when flushed and felt tingly my hands became shaky I became extremely erratic and afraid. My heart rate was 122 my blood pressure if I remember correctly was around 190/110. I stop drinking and smoking for about two weeks and I would have random very Strong heart shocked feelings that lasted for one second which would then make me worried and afraid and feel physically weird in my upper body for about a few hours after it. Every time I drink the next day I would have to spend inside of the tub with water rushing on me and achy feeling throughout my body. I felt like it had to of been my ribs and enlarged liver take into mind I have not and have never been to a doctor. And have no ways of going to one.
It’s been a little over a month or so since I’ve drink and I absolutely feel better when it comes to the physical issues with my body and now the only things left over is the random one second heart flip-flop feeling the shock feeling doesn’t happen as much anymore. In fact I can’t think of a time it’s happened since I quit drinking. The shock is definitely different from the feeling of the heart flipping. The heart flip-flops will happen at random times and usually get better with the intake of lots more water. What I want to know from you is if you had any symptoms with heart flipping or flop him and only lasting one second maybe two but literally only one. It doesn’t feel like my heart is increasing in its rate of speed or decreasing it’s simply feels like it flips around and then stops and then suddenly anxiety kicks in in my chest become slightly tight. If I run around vigorously for like 3 to 5 minutes suddenly about five minutes after it and I’m coming down my heart will do the hard flip-flop for one second.
I have taken my glucose test and usually during fasting I am between 90 and 105. I never really go over 126 when eating carbs. When I didn’t eat for about 12 hours I did drop to 66 glucose.
My blood pressure is almost always between 138 and 148/70 or over 88 With my beats per minute rest in between between 48 but usually 55. And my normal beats per minute when sitting up straight CAlm is between 65 and 80. Whenever I stand up though and for the duration of time that I am standing my blood pressure is usually around 160/90 or 160/105 and my beats per minute usually get up to about 111 or 98 high 90s. Once I sit down and take the test again within minutes my blood pressure drops to 130-ish or 156/60 to 80 and my beats per minute drop to a normal 60 or 85
My main worry is my new test that I have taken which is urine samples and the only things in it that are showing signs of anything off is my specific gravity which has jumped from neg to the furthest end being complete positive and my bilirubin has an odd orange color when I test it on the strips, which isn’t a color even allocated for it.
Anything similar too you? Any thing you can help me with. Doctor is never going to be an option.

I used to search for health symptoms on Google all the time I had to stop doing that because that is very dangerous, in your mind you could be diagnosing yourself with anything just go to the doctor and have them take your blood is the best way to find out I went to my doctor when I was having chest pain's stomach eight and all kinds of crap going on and I thought I had massive heart problems but turns out I didnt and he told me it was nothing but anxiety.

I’m 18 and I acquired health anxiety about 3-4 months ago when I started my first semester at college. I was on some new meds, and a month or so into the semester I had a dizzy spell which triggered a severe panic attack. I couldn’t breathe, felt like I was going in and out of consciousness. I thought I was 100% dying. I believe it was this that gave me severeeee health anxiety. So far I’ve convinced myself I’ve had brain tumors, cancers, heart attack, stokes, other diseases, and my main problem has been fearing I will go blind. I have had so many appts and been to the emergency room so many times and have had an mri and everything seems fine, but I had all the symptoms. Life is so hard and I just feel so detached from myself and everything. I don’t know what to do anymore ):

Imagine the health anxiety plus an enormous fear of doctors! I can't even go to get someone to tell me I'm fine. I am equally scared of ANY health facility as I am of my health issues. This is misery.

I still battle with bouts of hypochondria. To the point where my mind becomes foggy and I can't think clearly because I don't think on anything else but my health. Even if there's nothing wrong with me. Does hypochondria cause brain fog too?

When I was like 14 I would always complain of really bad stomach pain and cramps and my mom would take me to the doctor and they told me that I needed to lose weight so I lost weight. They didn’t do any further examination because they said I was totally fine and that it was just anxiety. For 4 years I continued to have the same stomach pain and cramps, but people would tell me that it was all in my head and that I was fine, which really made me believe that I was crazy. So I quit telling people that I was in pain because I convinced myself that I was in pain. I went in and out of doctors and hospitals with pain killers, muscle relaxers, all types of meds because they thought I just had back pain, muscle spasms, anxiety, and IBS.
Well, fast forward to age 18, I was at a party and I got a horrible stabbing pain in my lower abdomen, it brought me to my knees. I was actually in the middle of playing beer pong (oops) and I fell and started crying. My friends took me to the ER and they ran test and scans for 4 hours before 5 different doctors came in my room. I thought they were just going to tell me that I was having an IBS flare up, and that I was a hypochondriac, but instead they told me that I had a 13 pound tumor the size of a basketball on my ovary. I had to have a full hysterectomy, part of my bowel removed, and a port put in the next morning because I was going to be starting chemo after I recovered from surgery.
I know this probably isn’t the most helpful comment, but if you feel like there’s really something wrong with your body PLEASE listen to it. Nobody knows your body better than you do. Sometimes doctors will just brush things off because you don’t really “qualify” for that illness. But I was 18 when I was diagnosed with a cancer that’s mostly seen in women over 50. Sometimes you just really have to be your own advocate. ❤️❤️❤️

Omg! This is me when i was 21 😂😂 i'm having stomach diacomfort for few months and because my grandma had a collon cancer i was thinking that i have too. Doctor did an ultrasound and the results are normal few months after i almost forgot about it and i felt ok already.
Now i am 24 and i feel neck, head pressure, nausea and dizziness. Specially when i get hungry or while im on a car and reading messages. I also feel nervious and having difficulty on breathing. I went to the doctor and run blood test. Gastric medication. Vertigo and ct scan but nothing helps. Im about to think now that im having anxiety disorder.

I have had anxiety for years but only recently its been physical anxiety. I always think I'm having a heart attack or stroke and I worry so bad about it. I'm too scared to go to the dr about it cause i know its just anxiety and I have been about 2 years ago with chest pain they did an EKG and said it was bad anxiety and to just relax. I do my best to talk myself out of the anxiety and usually calm down. I do at least 1 thing each day I'm scared of and its been rewarding so far. Thanks for making these videos they're so relatable.

I had my first panic attack on July 28, 2016 I thought I had a heart attack because I had no idea what it was. went to doctor multiple times had EKG 3times, blood test for heart muscle, a barium abdomen X-ray, blood test for thyroid, and chest x-ray, they didn't found anything wrong with me. i was confused until my last doctor told me it's all anxiety so he diagnosed me with GAD. since my first panic attack I become sensitive about my health a.k.a hyphocondria

Hey Trey and everyone I'd like the put a comment in here. When I was in hospital due to anxiety (imagined chest pain) they put me into a ward with five other men. It was a cardio ward naturally as I was complaining of chest pain, it wasnt my heart but real pain caused by stress so massive muscle pain. But here's the interesting thing those other men were all stroke victims. they all shuffeled as they walked. AND so did I after a few days......so the leason is when your impressionable like me. Dont surround yourself with ill folks.

Hey! I know I’m kind of late but I have severe health anxiety. All of my fears have to do with an incurable mental disorder. Right now I’m stuck on schizophrenia. I’m not delusional, and I don’t hallucinate or hear voices or anything but I’m terrified I will. Then my mind starts playing tricks on me and my subconscious in my head will say stuff that a schitz would usually hear that isn’t there, a hallucination, the difference with me is I can differentiate when it’s just my mind playing tricks on me, and unlike a schitz person, I know it’s just an intrusive thought. It sucks so bad because any time I get these thoughts I get sucked into the fears of having a severe mental disorder again. Also, when I get happy I sometimes ask myself “what if I’m happy because I’m in a manic phase of bipolarity” then I force myself to be not too happy. I know it’s just anxiety but I’m terrified to see a professional because I’m scared of being diagnosed with one of my biggest fears, again, a severe incurable mental disorder 😩.

If you need an evaluation, check up, or nutrition test get that done so you can finally move on! Once you are told you are fine, Trust the doctor!!! I understand what you are going through and you are not alone. Make sure you are eating right for brain chemistry, exercise daily, practice positive thinking, also meditate first thing in the mornings and right before bed. Example, Sometimes when I'm trying to relax w eyes closed , I keep thinking about stuff, fears, and can't stop focusing on the very idea that I can think and even imagine. What is thinking //?. How we are able to think so on.. Kind of ocd about thinking, thoughts, images behind closed eyes. The result is usually. " Your going crazy". "The doctors have it wrong". "Your racing thoughts mean your schizophrenic ". Stuff like that. I'm really self critical and always think I'm going crazy or insane because of derealization and high anxiety..

Hey Johny! Trusting the doctor and accepting anxiety is the first step. They are the experts and we are not. Going to have to have faith in them. Finding and exploring the root cause of your anxiety is the next thing you should do. Once you figure that out, it is so much easier to work on anxiety itself. Make sure you are exercising daily, eating healthy, keeping a journal, taking a multivitamin, practicing meditation in the mornings and evenings, practicing cbt, keep counseling or therapy as an option, watch positive affirmation and asmr videos, join online support groups, and most importantly do this everyday and dont give up! I have deleloped this over the last few years. It started from an ache in my shoulder which gradually got worse. Doctors refused a chest xray. I pretty much had to demand a blood test which came back ok.
7 months ago I was diagnosed with CPS through neuropathy it can spread down my arms into my neck and jaw and onto my chest but mostly either after work at the end of an active day or stressful time.
Strangely tho i dont get any heart palpitations and not mainy headaches.
I have since been getting abdomen pains and a cough i cant seem to shake and really bad fatigue mainly in my legs. I have just had a chest xray and i am awaiting results and i am due another blood test in a week. My anxiety seems to stem from the fear that i am going to die and leave my 3 year old Son and the effect it will have on him. Also the thought of me not being around to see him grow up. Every day for the past two years i have had this fear.

William Monday You’re not alone. I’ve been dealing with Throat problems related to anxiety for 3 Years. I recently went off my meds as I was feeling better, however it came back. It’s a horrible feeling, lasts all day or until I take an Ativan. Try to avoid dairy and caffeine As these cause a build up of mucus which can trigger the sensation of the “lump” in your throat.

It’s all a mind game, it’s hard to get my mind off it but I’m not giving up. I’m trying to stay off google with my symptoms. My issue is my heart is always fast and I’m aware of it.

Dude! I have the very same thing. I can feel the pulse in my body, in my neck, at my ankles and my shoulders. It's really hard to work through it, but I think I'm slowly getting better at it. I know what you're talking about, buddy! I have the exact same problem. I just understood this by myself, knowing I've created a shortcut between the nerves around my heart and my brain. It's definitely neuroscience involved here. It's tough as nails. Glad I found someone who had this problem, I'm not glad that you have, but I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this nonsense. I suffered from horrible sickness and headaches for 2 years since I had a stomach bug and threw up (I have a huge phobia of throwing up). Sometimes I couldn't get out of bed because I felt I was so close to throwing up! It's weird because I didn't even think I was that anxious about it but I guess that's apart of the brain memory thing? And strangely it all completely went away when my brain started focusing on a new disorder (pelvic dysfunction)! Now I get so many symptoms of different pelvic floor or nerve disorders, and for once in 2 years - NO sickness or headaches at all. I've had it for 5 months now and I feel like it's gonna have to take another horrible disorder to get focused on for it to go away.. :(

I came back from Vegas a few months ago with pretty bad respiratory issues. Sore throat, cough, earaches. I was scared of lung CA because i was surrounded by cigarettes in Vegas. I’m too scare to go to the Dr but i still feel achiness in my chest and my throat gets irritated at times. I was constantly googling my symptoms at first, but i stopped. Some days i feel good and other days I’m constantly worried that I’m dying because of this ache in my chest and sore throat. Could i be creating these symptoms?

You need to go to the doctor for the reassrane you deserve! Trusting the doctor and accepting anxiety is the first step. Even when you don’t feel anxious about the pain being there, it’s normal that you’ll still feel it? Since I guess you deeply convinced your mind that this certain part of the body hurts cuz you’re so anxious about heart problems

Oh don't worry, I won't! I try to stop myself if I want to look up symptoms! I try as hard as I can but I do not look stuff up anymore!:) I just got home from school and we have a speaker that talks about AIDS and once she started talking about the symptoms, I convinced myself for a minute but then I quit.:) That is not a class for a hypochondriac! If they start talking about something I know is going to be bad, I stick my fingers in my ears to keep me from hearing it.

Hey Trey, thanks for the video. Definitely gave some sense of relief. Going through some similar stuff (going to the doctor and them telling me nothing is wrong). Whats your opinion on psychiatric and/or counselor treatment as well as medication? I've never considered myself to be an anxious person so I've never explored treatment, but your video fits me pretty much spot on so maybe I'm just not being objective enough with myself. P.S. thanks for the links... ill definitely try a couple of those books to read. Thanks again.

You are so welcome! Glad it gave you relief! I dont recommend medication really as I feel the natural way is the best way. That means exercise your butt off, eating a clean diet, taking a multi vitamin, keep a journal, start practicing meditation, look at positive affirmation and asmr videos, work on being positive regardless of the situation. I think diet and exercise are more effective than anti depressants and solve the root problem. Counseling would def not hurt though if it is in your budget!
