So basically he’s saying once a mom has raised you & you are married she’s the least of his priorities….I think a better answer would be each lady has her own place which the other can’t take, so it’s u fair to prioritize them…be there for all 3.
I think he’s trying to say all 3 of them are very important to him but he wants to give his wife the love that his mother was able to receive from his father. And since his mother was his father’s number one priority he feels his wife should be his.
