She's quite arrogant. I met her once in Selfridges and my mother very sweetly paid her a compliment and said you were so lovely so she raised her eyebrows and said aggressively "I WAS???" My mother was definitely paying her a compliment and she immediately said "yes of course I meant u are lovely!" But I was very annoyed by how arrogant she was being with an older lady who was clearly trying to pay her a compliment. And frankly she looked extremely plain looking at that time anyway so lord knows what she was throwing a hissy fit about.

The interviewer really tried to blame Saif and make her feel low life depressed woman but Amrita stood a strong ground and self sufficient. She was so wise independent and confident … she didnt shame Saif or frame him for anything ….

There is not much truth on this conversation. Her face says she lying. No need for such untruthful interview. If it was only for entertainment the it was ok.

I felt the same. Pooja kind of dragged her to accept that she was ‘insecure being a star wife’. For at least 10 mins it went on like this… Pooja trying to not believe that she was already a bigger star than Saif and trying to establish that she’s just a star wife that too insecure

Both mom and daughter are not only beautiful but also so many wonderful things. Frankly, Saif lost being with a wonderful woman and ended up with Kareena... probably couldn't handle his wife being smarter than him.

the interviewer was clearly looking for clout and had the worst way to go about it, Amritas is real and that came through.
What did Pooja Bedi think of herself at that point? Rude, mannerless question... Her question portrays Amrita as if she committed a great sin by not working after having kids. Kudos to Amrita for handling it with grace. I would have lost my patience with this lady's stupid questions.

Saif was manipulated by his mother who never wanted Amrita Singh as her daughter in law and also Saif is someone who falls for superficial beauty.
Amrita had gained weight after child birth and had become unattractive in Saif's eyes.
That's why Kareena works very hard to stay in shape and remain attractive in front of Saif.
Saif has huge temper problems as well. He was a spoilsport. After watching all interviews of this family's current and past members this is my observation and understanding.

Just loved Amrita 's honest answers
Such a strong lady she is despite having no father and been divorced such a painful feeling for a lifetime. Didn’t have a perfect family but but she came acrosss such a good and hard working woman and a single parent so proud of you ma’am.
It’s an old interview I realise, but what makes Amrita different from other actresses is that she is not only smart and intelligent person, but she is not putting any pretence infront of the camera, or having those fake smile as to convey how witty she can be. Just straight forward, humble, respectful and is not reactive to some of the repetitive questions being asked. Her responses about her thoughts & reflections of her life are very pragmatic, I am sure something lot of women can relate too… none of that on & on bs about “how hard I have worked to get to where I am….” She and Sushmita are few of the underrated personalities in the industry
after seeing so many interviews from the olden years, I have noticed that the yesteryear's actresses were so well spoken and eloquent. Today's actresses stand no where when it comes to talking socially.
