I bought an adult KOFs sceptre .410 as I wanted a cheapish O/U for occasional use. I was so impressed with it I bought the 12 bore game sceptre to use as a wet weather or field gun. Excellent guns for the price and the 12 bore feels and handles like my Miroku MK38 sporter just lighter.

Bought one of these Kofs 12g 28” barrels last year for my wife so she can come clays with me for the money brilliant gun worth the money only wanted something as a starter tried and looked at the Yildiz felt cheap and looked rubbish value for money Kofs all day long

The only thing that I could fault on my Kofs 28” 20g is the standard pad. Way too grippy so snags when mounting.
I converted mine to non auto safety and put a Beretta silicone pad on the comb to give a bit more height and cast off. Temporary mod to the pad was some Gorilla tape to smooth it up a bit.
It’s weight suits me fine as my shoulders aren’t what they were and heavier guns are out of the question now.

Great for someone just starting shooting ,they could work there way up the gauges.

Absolutely! Or equally, a competent shot could work his way down...

I kind of made my mind up a few weeks ago that I wanted an ATA SP but my left shoulder isn’t great these days as I had an operation some years ago and it’s now pretty weak when trying to hold anything above a few pounds in weight out at shoulder height or above my head .
Would a Kofs 12 gauge sceptre be a better proposition than the ATA in my situation ?
I’m going to shoot sporting clays couple of times a month, 100 clays at a time maximum.
Also, with it being an alloy action, is it hard wearing enough for what I want to do with it ?

I'm pretty sure these are branded as ATI's here in the US.
