If the blue was gloss and the barrels gloss blacked, I'd be more interested. Of course, that would be an easy upgrade with a standard gun. Just have the action Cerekoted.

Maybe I'm old fashioned, but Cerakote belongs on cheap Glock pistols. Not on a fine shotgun. As always, great video.
Cerakote is a great finishing technique, it's just this colour is awful.

Unfortunately the Blaser F16 has now gone so we are unable to weigh this for you
For some reason Beretta does not sell this gun in the US. I guess they don't like money?
Some guns from Beretta are for certain markets. Unfortunately, its sounds like the skeet gun was not made for the American market

I am useing 3/8chokes in both barrels is this a good choice
It's personal preference to whether you think this is a good choice. Josh at PG shoots 90% of his shooting with 3/8 chokes in both barrels, a lot of sporting shooters as also shooting 3/8 consistently. If you find your breaks are not as you would like them, try going slightly tighter, experiment.

Yes snap caps would do the same thing but again you would need to take the centre spring out, a spent cartridge is much easier

Bought an ATA 686SE for casual shooting about 12 years ago now and it's still shooting like new. Have been thinking recently of passing my ATA on to my teenage son and purchasing a Beretta Silver Pigeon 1 to replace it. Really starting to question the extra expense of a Beretta now, I'm completely stoked with the ATA 686SE and the ATA Pro 12 looks like everything I need and more at a much better price point. Thanks for the UA-cam vid.
He said the sp1 can be bought in the “field” model, without “non-ventilated” barrels. Huhhhh, I’ve never seen that. I have the same SP1 in “field” version WITH vent ribbed barrels. I learn something new everyday.
A new SP1 field will come with non ventilated barrels A new SP1 Sporter will have ventilated barrels Older Silver pigeon sported did also come with the wider rib and non ventilated barrels Apologies if i got my words mixed up

I really like those. I had a look at one at the beretta gallery and it was very nice. I do prefer the action on the DTs I have. Nice one for the collection tho.

No, we haven’t heard that the Franchi’s shoot particularly high
