I have a 525, I use it for occasional clay shoots mostly ducks and rabbits. It’s perfect for all my needs. I’m in Australia
Have watched this review quite a few times now, and it is up there with the best.
Mk 38 unbeatable in this price range , fabulous bit of kit .
Love the honesty of your reviews. A refreshing change form one other channel in particular.
Ive owned a Browning 525sL laminate for a couple of years and just last week bought a Miroku MK38 IWA special limited edition grade 3 trap, teague choked and adjustable. Both brilliant guns but the Miroku is something else! WOW what a gun
I love my trimmer action Browning 725 Feather 12 gauge with a 26 inch barrel. Use Trulock blackened stainless steel ported extended chokes on mine. Lower in improved cylinder constriction and upper barrel in improved modified. Lengthen forcing cones and back bored in 3 inch chamber weighing 6 pounds and 8 ounces loaded.
Gosh, i love my Citori for pounding clay's, feel good. would buy a Miroku 38
Minor point. The modern o/u shotgun design was invented by Boss and closely followed by Woodward in 1909 and 1913 respectively.
Great video, totally agree.
I’ve got a miroku mk38 grade 5 and I love it, still got the bloody awful cardboard box as well
I have a 525 ultra pro xs exquisite (that's a mouthful) with semi beavertail stunning gun for clays & game. Was tempted with Mk 38
Back in the late 70's/80's when DTL was the premier discipline, before Sporting caught on here in the UK, the most popular mid priced gun by far on the trap circuit was the Miroku 800W. Anyone with a bigger wallet would go for a Perazzi or similar.
Miroku wins hands down, there is a reason why browning doesn't want the Mk10 in Uk as it will completely kill their 525 sales, here in Aus Miroku built such a good name for themselves through early 70s they dominate the sales here, both guns are excellent, browning costs more grade to grade and can have nicer looks/more accessories in some guns, Miroku has more shooters gun feel
great vid Mat , thanks for the info
There are 525 now in Portugal with beaver tail option
I’d have bought a 20ga 525 Autumn but Brownings marketing team didn’t make them available in the US so I bought a Rizzini 🤷🏽♂️
Grade 5 Mk 38 for me with the beaver tail forend . But then I'm a miroku man all the way
