I bought two of these, one in 28 bore and one in 410, both 30 inch three years ago.
I originally got them to see weather or not enjoyment was to be had shooting the smaller calibre.
Honestly, they have both been great fun and value for money.
I have taken both on Pheasant and Partridge days, receiving a lot of leg pulling from my, gun snob friends. With remarks like, Which gas pipe are you using today? Have you got your Pea shooters today? Or the one that caused the most hilarity was, The Hammerite finish bluing is different.
But when you think about it.
    Multi choke.
    Vented barrels and rib.
    Single selective trigger.
    Mechanical action.
    Three year guarantee.
    Less than £500 each.
    Absolutely wonderful.

Bought one on the weekend. I found it nice to use with the 30" barrel. Quite accurate with 98 out of 100 clays. Can't argue for the money.

Looks exactly like my Stevens 555E. Stevens is a brand acquired by Savage Arms in Massachusetts. I paid $700 USD so it is priced comparably. I suspect the Turkish manufacturer makes the same gun on a “Private” label basis for a number of companies. I have a 12 gauge. It is a perfectly fine entry level gun.
In London again and visited the Beretta store. Beautiful guns. I enjoy your channel very much. Keep up the good work.

I have one of these and use it game shooting on my walked up/mini driven shoot. Shot 20 bore for years, but decided to go for the Kofs 28 bore for this season and really enjoy shooting it. I've shot plenty of pheasants with it, a few partridge and even bagged a snipe a few weeks ago.
    Really enjoy your reviews

I’ve got one and I love it, apart for the terrible barrel to fore-end fit (probably just my gun) and and the non automatic safety. For the money though I shouldn’t complain, does the job 👌

    • @martinhambleton5076

You can adjust the fore end fit to how it should be with the allen screw on the fore end latch on the barrels without to much trouble at all.

This gun looks very similar to my wife’s Stevens 555e. Can you do a video on how to remove this type of ejectors? I don’t seem to be able to get them all the way out. Sliding the side down let’s me get the ejectors out halfway, but I can’t seem to figure out how to remove them completely.

I know this was a long time ago, but I had a brief question about this gun. My wife’s has started being very stiff pulling the trigger. Is there anything I can do to clean inside the trigger/action or is it a gunsmith only fix? Thanks.

looks very well made and the replicable trunnions are good other Turkish guns don't have them sometimes. The issue as you say is the barrel weight but has the stock got space to add weight? what's the trigger like? and the internals?

  • @manofkentcatapultsgunsando5069
    @manofkentcatapultsgunsando5069 6 років тому +1

Got the look of trouble to me like a yilditz. These cheap and cheerful turkish guns in my opinion are ok for a occasional pop. But no good if you shoot 70 to 100 carts every weekend. They soon show why there cheap. On the plus side they keep the gunsmiths like yourself busy Great video as always.

Just as a mention, spoken to 3 gunshop owners and gunsmiths they generally don't get hardly any comeback on them and they have been around for a while now .snob factor plays a big part in any sport and shooting is no exception , for me taking part enjoying the company is everything.and I couldn't care less what anyone else is carrying.
