Thank you for your thoughtful review - we're glad VITURE Pro was such a significant step up for you and hope you'll continue to enjoy them! 😎
Thank you! Significant is the right word, I should have said that myself!
This was the review that sold me. Now to find out where the money is coming from lol
@@atcPhoenix Thank you for your kind words, you've made my day! As for the money... I'm looking around too!
Would this be good for coding?
@@MysterCannabis Hi, thanks for the comment! I think if you're looking for a big screen to look at some code, then yes it could do that if say you set the glasses to an external display, or you're using a SpaceWalker compatible device).
The Handhelds United matt was looking mighty nice! Great to see the upgraded setup and an informative exploitative review of these Viture glasses. The intro to this video is epic.
Thank you bro, LFG!!!!!!!!!!11!!!111!!!1!1!!!
thanks for the video, nice review!
Thanks fam!
Really appreciated the side-by-side comparison with the original. TY!
Thank YOU for your comment and for watching!
how is that magnetic to usb c adapter supposed to work? wouldn’t the viture charger plug into it? so it wouldn’t really get rid of the proprietary connector right?
No you're right, it doesn't replace the adapter, I must have been asleep when I edited that part of the video. What the adapter can do is connect the neckband to any displayport alt mode capable device and turn it into a full Android TV, or alternatively, allow the Viture LITE glasses to access the magnetic cable. I will definitely ask about the opposite side of the magnetic cable being made as an adapter though.
@@gamers-generationThanks for your response! As someone who wears glasses the eye adjustments on the Viture glasses make them the best option for me but the use of the proprietary magnetic cable with only the $50 replacement option is a deterrent for me. Any information you can get would be greatly appreciated!
great review. i may have missed it but can you change the size of the screen so that it would be different when you watch a movie vs work on your phone/laptop?
Thanks so much for your comment! You didn't miss it! So if you use the SpaceWalker Windows or Mac apps, you can bring up multiple screens (like a virtual dual monitor or even widescreen) and then adjust the "distance" or size of the display, BUT, do keep in mind that it stays in your central vision, so you can't push the image/video to wherever you want because it will get cut off if that makes sense. Please stay tuned for a follow up video!
I see a pair of Viture One's online for $200. I dont mind paying the $450 for the Pros, but is it really worth it in your opinion? People have me a bit afraid of "blurred edges" and Pros claim not to have any.
@raydiog honestly at $200, that's an absolute steal! Then what you can do is also try out the Pros at another time, and if you like those, use both with the mobile dock to share in the fun!
Any chance you can check to see if any type of “live dictate” app or function could work? I’d love to use something like this to be a running “teleprompter” transcribing speech for a hearing impaired friend.
Ayo! Great question. Just to clarify, is there a specific app you're looking at? As far as I can guess, the primary limitation would be the microphone being placed on the phone or connected device, so it'd need to be on the table/desk in order to properly capture the audio.
I’d be interested in using Apple’s live transcribe function
By biggest gripe is the comfort, they just don’t sit as nice as the xreal air 2 pros
Hi there, sorry for the late response. Sorry to hear that's your experience. I do feel comfort is a subjective thing though so I'll definitely concede that point. Thanks for your comment!
loving all them SNSD clips in the video lol. My question is, for people who wears glasses, do we need some kind of prescription lens to use this?
AYYY my fellow Sone! Depending on what kind of correction you need for your eyes (nearsighted/farsighted), the diopters built in (those dial things on top of the glasses) will adjust the focus of the displays so you can see without glasses -- mind you it won't focus everything you see (as in your peripheral vision will still be blurry) but the video playing will be in focus.
Hope that helps and thanks for your comment (p.s.
I have a question. I just won a bid on ebay original xreal air 1 for 150$ open box condition. Is it huge difference between them? Should i buy xreal air 1 or better to get viture pro? Thanks
Wow nice! There is a significant difference, no question, particularly in the brightness. Is it worth more than double the price or another $200+ dollars? That I can't say because it will depend on a number of factors like how often you'll use them, where you'll use them, your financial situation, and so on.
Thanks so much for your comment and question!
do you know if these would work on desktop with a male hdmi to female usb c adapter? i want to avoid buying the pro dock if i can buy something cheaper
Hey there thanks for your question. If you mean to run a cable from your GPU out to then plug into your glasses, it'll have to support DP-alt mode. I can confirm that this GoFanco adapter works, but I haven't tested SpaceWalker with it yet:

(affiliate link).
thanks for the info, i'll check that out❗
There AI-support on the site said it had UV protection, is that correct?
Unfortunately I don't have any means to test this, but the glasses are slightly tinted. They aren't polarized though as far as I can tell. Thanks for your question!
I don't see myself upgrading until we get bigger FOV. As of now I am using the OG xreals. But the beam was a joke of a device and I find it strange how much of the oled panel doesn't even get used. So until we get bigger displays out of these things I will just use my xreals until they break. It is nice seeing the quality of life improvements.
Thanks for your honest comment! Psst, there's a surprise though that I didn't mention in the video, you can actually use your Xreal Airs with the new Pro Viture Mobile dock, bet they didn't see that coming!
@@gamers-generation Anything has to be better than that dual core rockchip in the beam. I am scared to use it on my PC because it is constantly discharging while charging and gets super hot. I think the only reason we havent seen it blow up or hurt someones PC in the first place is because its such a POS no one used it for very long.
@@19CD91 I wish I could love your comment more. Most based comment I've read all day. Thank you!
As always, great video! 🎉
I am probably not the right audience for those glasses though.. 😅
I can't imagine myself wearing those since I already have bad eyesight and I am very unsure if I would enjoy those..😂
But Krypto! They have diopters for myopia!!!
@@gamers-generation Yeah, but I'm really sceptical about it. XD
Can you get the Pin mode by purchasing the USB C XR charging accessory?
Hi, thanks for your comment. Unfortunately no, the adapter is basically a passthrough which allows you to charge your device while also using the glasses; or if you have a pre-15 iPhone 15, allows the iPhone to work with the glasses.
Pin mode is available in Spacewalker, no adapters needed for Android, and XR adapter is for enabling pin mode on iPhone 15 series.
I'm a VR enthusiast and use a Pico4 and Quest3 for whatever these devices can do including watching movies. But here's my dilemma... I hardly feel the headsets while playing games or doing fitness, but as soon as I start watching movies, they start to be annoyingly heavy, itchy uncomfortable. That's where I think these glasses will be good for... (convincing myself).... so come my birthday in November, I know what this guy is buying for himself....
We look forward to it - we know you'll love it!
Thanks so much for your honest input. I understand exactly what you mean -- come November, your face and nose are gonna be sittin' pretty!
It doesn't matter. I too wanted a comfortable alternative to a VR headset for watching movies. I take it on trips and it's just a bit annoying to carry a bulky case for the Quest 3. ...but... These glasses, I tried them...they just aren't it. You don't really have a choice, you're stuck with a heavier VR headset because these gimmick glasses do not give you anywhere close to a usable image size.
Honest to God, you're better off looking at your smartphone screen to watch movies.
I will edit this and apologize if I'm being an idiot using them wrong. Totally possible, but I don't think so.
The most importance difference between the Vitures and the XREALs for those of us looking to use the three-screen functionality on a Mac laptop is that Viture's Spacewalker app actually works and is stable. XREAL's Nebula for Mac OS is a trainwreck in comparison, I would be lucky to go four minutes with Nebula before either the mouse vanished or the windows turned to gibberish.
Is Nebula on MacOS still buggy? I haven't tested the Windows app since the "beta" last year but it was a buggy mess then too. I agree that SpaceWalker is a better implementation, it's not perfect, but it's definitely working! Thanks for your comment!
@@gamers-generation Nebula on MacOS is an unusable mess, it is unable to deal with the way MacOS manages multiple windows. I'll go to open a second window in Chrome and all of a sudden I have two completely different sets of screens in each eye. Plus at random intervals the mouse will appear in only one eye and stop working. The only solution to this is to quit and restart Nebula, at which time the window arrangement I set up among the three screens has changed.
This is frustrating because I prefer everything else about the XREAL specs. They never drift, the right eye is just as sharp as the left eye (this is a problem with the Viture's interocular spacing) and I prefer the way XREAL handles screen distance and size. At the end of the day stable software that actually works wins out though.
connect them to xreal beam pro please and tell me your opinion
Unfortunately the Xreal Beam Pro hasn't been released. Additionally, I do not believe it will work with anything outside of an Xreal device (probably only the Air 2s and not the Air 1s). Thanks for your comment!
What about blurry edges ?
I didn't notice much on the originals, and whatever chromatic aberration there was, also seems reduced. Thanks for your question!
Can i use my earpuds with it together?
Hi, thanks for your question! They'll work with any bluetooth earbuds/airpods as long as your phone connects to them (since its your phone that will play the audio).
Does it work with beam pro
What doesn't work with Beam Pro?
@@gamers-generation nothing works with it lol
So how is it compared to the Xreal?
If you mean the Xreal Air 2s/2 Pros, unfortunately I don't have them so I can only judge based on my experience with the XREAL Air 1s and the spec sheet. That said, these should be significantly brighter than the Xreal Air 2s while also including the diopters (for eyeglass wearers) and IMO have a superior app/support system. I enjoyed my time with my Air 1s, but I am not a fan of the Xreal Beam. Thanks for your comment!
@@gamers-generation I got the Xreal Air 2 Pro, I use them daily, and of course if these are really better for a non-glasses users I would be down. But np bro, and yeah the Beam really sucks, overheats and has alot of lack.
@@jasonmeister6988 Thanks for your quick reply! Yeah unfortunately I haven't tested the 2s first hand. My understanding though is they're marginally better brightness wise (not FOV) vs. the Air 1s (which I have). That said, it probably depends a lot on what your use case is. Do you use them primarily with your phone? A handheld? A laptop?
@@gamers-generation Yes true, I use them primarily with my SteamDeck for games and on my phone for UA-cam/Movies. I tried them with my PC, but the corners are always blurry and hurt my eyes, so there is no way I can use the Xreal 2 for working/office or even surfing. Games and Movies are great tho.
Excellent review! You showed and explained all the facets and differences among those glasses and did come out with a “winner”. My question is, after your last statement, is it better to wait and see if there will be better choices soon?
Thanks for your kind words and support! As for your question, I think if you want something now, are okay with the pricing, and want the full ecosystem, the Viture Pro lineup covers pretty much everything. That said, it's really easy to just FOMO and want the newest thing; the primary difference with the Xreal Air 2 Ultras is the front facing cameras which should allow for hand tracking and a more immersive experience, but as far as I know, those are at least $700 and will be highly dependent on developer support, which could be hit or miss -- that and they are also not sa standalone device and will still need to connect to your phone or another phone-like accessory. Thanks again for your comment!
I just received mine, and I have to say I’m initially disappointed. The image is just too low in the field of view, with the bottom edge blurry as it’s right on the edge of the mirror (and sometime cut off unless you push the glasses right up against your eyeballs).
The built in speakers are really loud for anyone sitting near you, making these very antisocial to use in public.
There’s no built-in physical volume control and, when you’re connected to an Apple device, the volume is fixed, your Apple device’s volume control has no effect.
If you want to use them with an iPhone, and additional $60 adapter is mandatory, otherwise you just get a static picture and can’t even adjust the in-app volume.
Hi there thanks for your comment. Have you tried using the other nosepads or adjusting the diopters? Also does tapping the dimming button twice not switch to volume controls for you?
As for the adapter, unfortunately this is a result of the lightning port if you're not an iPhone 15 user.
removing 3dof is a deal breaker
I can understand that sentiment, which is why I mentioned it during the video. I do hope it returns. Thanks for your comment!
Your biased😂
You mis-spelled "based" ;) Thanks for the comment!
Sounds like you're using Ai to speak. Sounds robotic
@TheBigb1973 That's why I'm your friendly neighborhood AI! Thaaaaanks for watching!
No, just no. This is a disgusting joke of a product. The screen doesnt look large. It's like a few inches of a tiny box in a sea of glasses and empty space.
I don't know if VR ruined my expectations here or not. I obviously expected to see outside the frames and such...but the surface area of the lenses and how much projected image covers that area?? Horrible.
These shouldn't even be a product. I don't know how they are selling them.
Sorry but have you tried them? I explained in another video that it depends on how far you are away from a wall or occluding object. If you're sitting facing a wall about a foot away then yes it's going to look tiny, if a wall is 12ft away from you though it will look like 135" or so.
Do the Viture Pro XRs support HDR?
As far as I know, they do "support HDR" but it's kind of a complicated thing. It's not HDR10/10+, HDR400+, or DolbyVision, so the HDR content will just be converted, and the displays won't appear as "HDR supported" in the settings... sorry I don't have a more conclusive answer.
@@gamers-generation Actually I contacted Viture directly and no, the PRO XRs' do NOT support HDR.
@@nternalPractice Thanks for clarifying! The responses I saw on the Discord were mixed, glad you got that cleared up! That said, the content still looks amazing even SDR!
HDR content is supported, but please note that the glasses are not an HDR display. They will convert HDR to 8-bit, which may cause issues depending on the device. We have tested this on laptops and phones, and they work well. We may also add 8-bit with dithering support on our Pro Neckband.
