Thanks for sharing this, I actually have a set on the way. If I may, ask if the native device screen turns off when plugging in the glasses? Or does it screen mirror or sets itself up as a separate display?
The only AR glasses with a higher field of view are the XReal Air 2 Ultra (52 degrees vs the 46 degrees on these Viture Pro XRs). If you don't mind bulkier glasses, the Immersed Visor might work for you (100 degrees field of view, 4K displays). They're not shipping their standard model until March 2025 though.
It must be a requirement for the free hardware because all of them have been like that. But unless the video is sponsored (I've only seen one so far), their opinions seem to be pretty legit. I've seen the whole range of very positive to very, very negative and mixed in-between. So really, you just have to find a non-sponsored video of someone you subscribe to that shares most of your viewpoints already (though it doesn't hurt to check out the super negative ones because they do make valid points).
Sorry it made that impression. I was not paid for the video. I only got the free sample. But in Germany I'm forced to click the "contains paid advertisement" if I get a free sample. I also mentioned my concerns/ things I didn't like that much.
I have to disagree, this was an extremely in-depth overview and exactly what I was looking for. Impressions like what you're looking for don't really work well for a product like this since everyone has a different face shape, head size, eyes and varying expectations of screen quality...
I don’t really understand why these are marketed so hard to people with handhelds… a device that already has a screen attached to it. I’d be interested in using this with my Xbox. Just curious if it’s a raw video signal and if there’s any latency.
Assuming it's working with any USBC Display output so far I think it is. I didn't feel more latency than on other devices. 🤔 For me personally the Display on the ROG Ally/Steamdeck/Switch is too small. After like 20-30 Minutes of gaming i get uncomfortable. 🤷♂️
@@Hubwood makes sense. I have a steam deck but don’t mind using the built in screen. Haven’t used my Xbox in like a year though because I left my TV at my sister’s place and haven’t bought a new one. I don’t even really have room for one so this could be perfect.
I have the SD and Xreal (looking to but these to upgrade maybe) its a much better experience... I was skeptical, for the past 2 years it has been a wonderful experience even on desktop mode with KDE it was great.
In general good. But it really depends on you personally to be honest. For some this would work without issues and others might say it not working for them. There is only way to find out 😅
Great video, thanks. Does the Pro Mobile Dock work with other glasses (like Xreal Air 2 Pro)? The previous Mobile Dock has a proprietary USB-C connector and made my purchase useless.
@@Hubwooddo you have a type c monitor you can try it with it is suppose to support any monitor as well if you have one or a adapter to make it work that would also prove its doesnt have a proprietary type c port
i have a question , in plane on a long flight , how would i connect my powerbank and the glasses at the same time to ROG ALLY , as you know its default battery is shit . Would the jsaux dock work with it in the plane ? or do the glasses need ro be directly connected to ROG ALLY , it only has one usb c port .
@@Hubwood Thank you bro , i was able to order the glasses from the viture website , used your code for a discount 🙂 much appreciated , watched your video then decided to get it , was able to find that usb c adapter / charger too on their website , and you just earned another sub 💯
Can these hook up to the ps5? Can they be refunded even if they’re open and slightly used? Bought a pair from a competing company but the in screen edges were so blurry I had to return it.
Dunno if the ps5 supports usb c display out. Bit it would surely work in combination with the optional mobile doc as that has an hdmi port to translate the signal to your glasses for any hdmi source.
"The biggest advantage of the Pro XR glasses over the Viture One is light output. Viture says it raised the perceived brightness from 500 nits to 1,000 nits, which puts the glasses in line with the levels required to adequately view lots of high dynamic range (HDR) content. For comparison, the Rokid Max glasses go up to just 600 nits." Does this mean the Pro XR is recognised as a HDR capable display when connected to a windows PC?
@@TheBigb1973 What you talking about is the panel itself but what you see is completely different at max it's 600 nits, you lose brightness because of lenses efficiency
But I did :) ROG Ally and Legion GO and Laptop are PCs? It works aslong as you find a way to have Display otput over USB-C. I don't know if it would work with an adapter over HDMI or DP though to be honest... But I lso mentioned that the VITURE Spacewalker app is coming to windows these days. So in general it will work, yes :)

You can choose that yourself when you use a PC :)

Do these glasses support HDR for gaming? Ive heard people mention HDR video playback but I can't fine specifics in the marketing.

Is the mobile dock what you need to connect a laptop to the Viture glasses?
If the laptop does not have display out over usb c. Then yes.
