The HomeRight Paint off compares painting with the PaintStick EZ-Twist, a traditional roller and tray and painting with the Paint READY Sprayer.
Painting the walls and the ceiling of a room can make the most dramatic change in your home. However it can be an overwhelming task that takes time to complete. The new and improved original PaintStick EZ-Twist reduces the amount of time spent painting. The PaintStick EZ-Twist draws paint directly from the can holding paint in the crystal clear handle. You can see the paint drawing into the handle. The new universal clamp fill tube clips onto a wide variety of paint container sizes and is easy to use. Control paint flow by simply twisting the handle and the PaintStick EZ-Twist feeds it onto the roller cover and transfers it to the wall.
Paint the easy way without the need for an open tray; this eliminates dripping from the can or roller. The PaintStick EZ-Twist’s improved simple end caps hold the perforated shed resistant roller cover into place and are easy to remove for cleaning. The handle extends to 64” providing added reach. This eliminates bending over and reduces the need for a ladder. This will change the way you look at painting a room. Using the PaintStick EZ-Twist truly is the Fastest, Easiest Way to Paint™.
-Paint an 8’ x 8’ wall in 1 minute
-Durable non-flexible plastic handle holds 18 oz. of paint
-Holds 18 oz. of paint in the handle, enough to cover an 8 ft. x 8 ft. wall

-No bending or back and forth to the tray

I have the original PaintStick, bought years ago. Used it again recently. It was more fuss than I recalled, so the parts may degrade over time or gum up, even after careful cleaning. Trouble sucking the paint into the stick. It would often suck air for half the pull, then paint start flooding into the tube. It is hard to add paint to the roller without squirting some out since hard to slide the handle, so it would stick then jump forward, often dripping paint from the roller. Likely the reason for the revised twist design which looks more controllable. I'll try cleaning all traces of paint w/ TSP and give it another chance, or maybe buy the EZ-Twist one.
I bought one of these at Lowes this week and I must say they are just that fast at painting. I was amazed when I finished the bedroom. I stood there in the middle of the room asking myself "am I through already?" Clean up is a bit more detailed but well worth it. I'll never go back to roller and pan.
Thank you for your positive feedback, Jerry! We're so glad to hear that the PaintStick saved you time. If you need help with the clean up, we do offer several UA-cam videos on how to making cleaning easier.
Love it so much I bought 3! Great product though it's tough to reach in tight areas due to the length.
We're so glad you like it, Jack! If you're looking for a smaller painting tool, be sure to check out our Quick Painter edging tool for tight areas. See here: amzn.to/2Pu1sK5
I've used a paint stick and LOVE it. I bought a 2nd one after something broke in the first one -- WHICH my Mom bought. We laughed at her when she did but ended up telling her how great it was. It's not hard to clean. As for the 2nd guy with the roller? I NEVER take off the roller sleeve and toss it. I've always cleaned it to use again. Some people are just lazy in this "throw away" world. As I said I purchased a 2nd one and before I could use it, I lent it to my son & his ex-wife to paint their house. I offered to show them how to use it but they insisted they could read. and would figure it out. Well, they never bothered to read the instructions and used it as an extended roller. Ended up losing parts and not cleaning the roller pad so they ruined it. I was furious! Now I have to get another and it's "Out of stock" on-line and at my store.
We're glad you love the PaintStick! It's a great painting tool to have. We're sorry that your relatives broke yours. If you'd like to purchase a new one, head to Amazon: amzn.to/2sccSHT
I bet I know what broke...
Anyone can look at this video and tell that # 2 and #3 started moving faster AFTER #1 finished. Clearly the intent was for #1 to finish first. Why didn't # 3 move that fast when he started out and obviously he stalled on purpose and #2 kept rolling over spots he had already covered. I plan on purchasing a paint stick but not based on this video. I just like the fact that I don't have to keep dipping. This video was obviously bias.
how much was the guy on the right paid to be a complete tool?
What do you mean by this?
also noone paints a wall without a pole on the end of a roller... doubles speed
Yeah I was wondering if they gave him a clogged sprayer. I wasn't expecting him to win but at least come in a quick second. It seemed nothing was coming out of the sprayer at times.
Very nice tool.I like it. But...If I was the guy in the middle I also would finish in 45 seconds that straight wall.
I do a lot of jobs in my spare time. Having used a paint stick for the last 20 years or so, I can say that it is definitely faster, but let's get real here...you have to backroll your paint to make it look presentable. If you're painting a bathroom or a small hallway, use a roller & tray. The tight spaces will hamper use of the long paint stick. If you have a large room, or several large rooms, by all means, use the paint stick. Only drawback is figure on 20 to 30 minutes of cleanup time.
We are so happy to hear that you have used the PaintStick for 20 years. Thank you! Also, thanks for your feedback on the product. We understand that clean up does take a bit longer, however you save so much time on the painting part of the process that we hope the clean up is worthwhile.
Roller and tray speeder than HVLP spray??? Very strange...
Todo tiene ventaja en lo pintado
I've used this product it's convenient but the trade off is that it uses a lot more paint than a regular roller
Thank you for your feedback! What type of paint were you using?
Sherwin Williams Cashmere line
When I used it I also thought I was going through my paint fast. That just means it is going on fast, few coats equals less work. To get the same coverage, you use the same amount of paint no matter the application method. If you think you are over applying the paint then use a shorter nap roller.
I really like this product and have loaned mine and recommended it to a number of people.
You use LESS paint because there is less paint splatter on the floor and more paint actually on the wall compared to a "dip and roll" roller. With this product, the paint comes from the INSIDE the roller vs the outside so hardly any chance of paint splatter.
Guy with the paint stick left after 45 seconds. But do you know where he's gone? I'll tell you where, he's gone to clean the tool that takes 20 minutes while the guy with the roller dumped the sleeve and arrived home earlier so he can enjoy his cold beer
The PaintStick is actually easy to clean if you have the right tools and technique. Watch the end of this video to see how easy the clean up can be: ua-cam.com/video/p_ultyli_9s/v-deo.html
Hahahahaha! But throwing away all those paint rollers is bad for our environment. Just saying.
abc 123: hahahha ~~~~~you are right, dont forget, his back start pain, because paint.
the black shirt man come for show, not his job.
1st one uses alot more paint though... trade off.....
I just bought this roller and love it. It doesn't take long at all to clean up. Very simple. Much faster than cleaning up the mess of a paint tray (even if you use a liner or plastic), I don't dump my roller?? I always wash mine but takes forever. Plus you have more wasted paint!
With the HomeRight paint stick I use much less paint for an entire room than I did before, I return any unused paint effortlessly and mess free, clean up is super easy. Remove the tube from the paint can and put the lid back on. Over to the sink and in less than 10 min I have everything rinsed, set aside to dry, and everything is put away.
Think the fella on the right is using a water pistol 😂😂
how are rolling can bit a sprayer
There is no way in hell anybody with a roller could paint faster than I can with an HVLP sprayer.
There are a lot of great ways to paint! We love our HVLP sprayers too
good video
Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for your comment ***** Let us know what you think.
Its cool
We're so glad you liked this!
this is so bullshit for one a painter wouldn't use that sprayer to paint walls and why isn't the guy with the normal roller using a poll aswell? why isn't he rolling full strips ...
cause marketing. you cant show your product losing.
No. I have a paint stick and they are just that fast.
Thanks for your feedback. This was an actual test.
@@HomeRightPS Well it really wasn't a FAIR test. Obviously, the only one who is familiar with painting and knows his tool well, won. Give that roller and pan to someone with experience , who paints skillully. The easy twist would be challenged fairly, without the advantage of racing an inexperienced painter. This video demeans your integrity and I like the easy twist.
I have a graco handheld airless. I could paint that wall at least as fast as the roller. The guy with the sprayer has the wrong tip and doesn't know what he's doing.
It goes to show that our PaintStick EZ Twist is a simple, fast way to paint your walls. The simple design allows for less adjusting time, while someone with a paint sprayer might need more help figuring out how it works, how to change the tips, what tip to choose, how to unclog the sprayer, what air flow to use, etc.
It’s not about speed it’s more about the quality of the finish
con rodillo comun y tacho
i use 18" roller and knock it off real quick
That would work too.
Do some ceilings.
this advertising is to much misleading, the guy in the middle and right clearly had disadvantage regarding the tools there were using
How can I communicate with you about one purchase is very necessary
All of our products can be purchased on Amazon.
Love it
We're glad you enjoyed the video and the product!
If you replaced the spaz on the right with a paint sprayer it would of been sprayed in 3 seconds
why dident the one guy use a airless instead of a hvlp every one know hvlp is lot slower 🤷🏼♂️
Thanks for watching this video and leaving a comment! We highly recommend checking out Wagner if you are interested in airless sprayers: www.wagnerspraytech.com/products/paint-sprayers/high-efficiency-airless-series/
@@HomeRightPS i have a wagner 350r
@@garethdavies7564 That's great!
Total BS. Guy with sprayer is moving so slowly and pausing? Is he using HomeRight sprayer? I use paintstick, but sprayer is whole lot quicker (Wagner), especially when you include corners and edges by using paint shield. Unfortunately, sprayer takes whole lot more prep (mask EVERYTHING), so for small/medium jobs, paintstick is preferable.
A PaintStick is definitely preferable. The paint sprayer in the video is not ours and, as you can see, it doesn't lay down a good finish. If you want to use a good paint sprayer for this job, try our Finish Max or Super Finish Max.
@@HomeRightPS well good yall scared me thinkn that was yalls sprayer
أحسنت أتمنى لك التوفيق
It's a test of people who choose to watch movies as professional painters work :-) funny is
Hi
En Paredes lisa si con rodillo se acaba antes ,y en paredes rugosas de dientes de perro q le llaman en en q me de CIS anda dime lo
What are you doing that spray paint person 🤔🤔 he was still waiting to finish the first person. Then only this person starts work. it's not a reality video I think.
Thank for your comment, we appreciate you keeping it real. Clean up time might take longer, but you are spending much less time on the project itself, right?
You have to add the prep and cleanup time in to figure out which way is faster
I can paint in 35 sec by roller!
That's awesome, Peter! That means you'd probably paint at lightning speed with the EZ-Twist.
Gel ben sama o duvaru makinayla 10 saniyede boyayivereyim sahtakarligin luzmu yok
The sprayer guy is so slow!
Regardless, the PaintStick EZ-Twist will have the job done more quickly!
Yes, I am pretty sure I could have that done in around 1 minute, possibly 45 seconds! Quality would probably beat any roller method as well.
Let's see who would win if they were painting furniture.
How to take a tools
Thanks for your comment, we are not sure we understand your comment. Can you please explain?
Hhahah,which naive!

True painters paint with brushes and rollers
True painters will find that this tool is even better than a brush or roller! We'd love for you to give it a try.
It does look really handy. I plan on testing it sometime.
I have the Homelight Sprayer. I had a 11x12 wall I tried to paint. I used the stick. I think the sprayer is excellent on cabinets, book shelves etc...but a whole wall? No, if time is your issue. I have a larger wall which I will use my Graco
Thank you for your feedback, Edwin! Yes, our paint sprayer is great for painting cabinets, shelves, and furniture. Did you enjoy using the PaintStick EZ-Twist to paint your walls?
@@brandonmorgan5678 I've used one and LOVE it. Makes painting so much easier. About to purchase yet a 3rd. The first one died from age, the 2nd was ruined by my son & his ex. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Now I just have to find another one.
That it’s not true, the sprayer is so much fast ,,that hek 🤨
It depends on what type of sprayer you're using. Some sprayers also won't give you a smooth, even finish while the PaintStick EZ-Twist will!
@@HomeRightPS so i shouldn't have purchased yalls paint sprayer is what you are showing us😔
@@clovertx901 Thank you for your comment! The HomeRight Super Finish Max and Finish Max paint sprayers aren't designed for painting large areas of walls so we'd still recommend the PaintStick EZ-Twist for that application. It'll get the job done much quicker!
Lo
The guy spraying didn't have to go back and fill in the skips.
If you're using a sprayer, you will have to fill in the skips in order to get a smooth finish.
Not a problem, if you know how to use your sprayer.
Alet çalışır usta övünür
yo soy mas rapido que los tres
one word....airless.
You'll find that the PaintStick EZ-Twist is a great alternative. Also, airless sprayers produce a lot of over spray, which makes it difficult to paint indoors.
you supply the uk at all? thanks
Yes, you can purchase a PaintStick by contacting OakThrift here: www.oakthrift.com/contact-oakthrift. They sell the original PaintStick, which is very similar to the EZ-Twist that is shown in the video. The only difference is that you push the handle instead of twist.
What a scam. Can't people just be honest. Do they really think people wont notice. Of course #1 will finish first. #2 should be attached to a painter's pole and #3 is using the slowest sprayer on the market. Just be honest.
Cista laz
No mamen
Lmao y didn't the guy in the middle have a roller pole? What clowns
The PaintStick EZ-Twist has similar reach to a roller pole. We highly recommend it!
☝👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏
not even close to the truth,,what a BS vidëo
أتمنى دزلي رقمك
the guy with the tray Could have a stick … and it would be equal
What do you mean? What kind of stick are you speaking about?
a Broom stick . extension pole in the end of the roller , Good Cool painting Video...Good demo that spraying is NOT the best way to paint walls … it was slower , Then Oh yeah now time to clean the sprayer ...
מצחיק . הארלץ אכי מהי זה מובן
The sprayer would win the guy sucks at. It
Depending on the sprayer, you might have to refill the sprayer, clean the nozzle, and adjust the spray pattern. These adjustments take time whereas the PaintStick EZ-Twist can get the job done quickly.
................................HOMORight..........................
I can roll faster than your guy on the left the guy in the middle doesn't even have an extension pole and he isn't rolling all the way
The man in the middle is using a standard paint roller and tray. This video is to show why using the EZ-Twist is the ideal option due to tube's length, reach ability, and not having to refill on paint.
il n'a pas l'expérience de manipulatio d'in pistolet.
..je crois qie mon petit nièce de 8 ans aurais aussi fait plus rapide avec un rouleau 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
If you like marketing bullshit, watch this video.
What do you not like about the video? Have you personally tried the PaintStick? It doesn't disappoint!
No.3 lazy
You won't be lazy when you have the PaintStick EZ-Twist! It makes painting so easy.
Tools are as good as the person using them them two dudes not 1 clue how to paint
Percobaan yang sangat bodoh
Hahaha pt was a bullshit competition I have ever seen it's totally inverse
Mentira no es creíble
