DIY projects are our focus and we're confident that our products and tools can help make them easier, faster and neater for you. We hope to inspire homeowners to approach their projects with confidence, and then provide them with the means to do improvements they can be proud to call their own. For over 25 years, HomeRight has been an innovator in the consumer power painting and staining industry. HomeRight was the originator of the PaintStick® in 1986 and today has a full line of power painting, automotive and homecare products. This is the Infomercial that helped HomeRight get a start back in the early 1990s. #tbt #throwbackthursday
The new and improved original PaintStick reduces the amount of time spent painting. The PaintStick draws paint directly from the can holding paint in the crystal clear handle. You can see the paint drawing into the handle. The new universal clamp fill tube clips onto a wide variety of paint container sizes and is easy to use. Control paint flow by simply pushing the handle and the PaintStick feeds it onto the roller cover and transfers it to the wall. Paint the easy way without the need for an open tray; this eliminates dripping from the can or roller.
The PaintStick’s improved simple end caps hold the perforated shed resistant roller cover into place and are easy to remove for cleaning. The handle extends to 54” providing added reach; great for ceilings. This eliminates bending over and reduces the need for a ladder. This will change the way you look at painting a room. Using the PaintStick truly is the Fastest, Easiest Way to Paint™.
-Paint an 8’ x 8’ wall in 1 minute
-Durable non-flexible plastic handle holds 18 oz. of paint
-Holds 18 oz. of paint in the handle, enough to cover an 8 ft. x 8 ft. wall
-Includes 3/8 in. perforated shed resistant roller cover for smooth to semi-smooth surfaces
-Handle easily reaches up to 9 ft. ceilings and high walls without a ladder
-No bending or back and forth to the tray
-Quick, easy cleaning
-Includes a 3/8 in. nap perforated roller cover, spatter shield to protect floors and ceilings and universal clamp fill tube
-2 year warranty
I remember this...I was convinced at like 9 years old I needed this
It's still a great painting tool to have! If you're interested, please head to Amazon now amzn.to/2w6TKfc
Me too 🥲
I had this infomercial memorized word for word when I was like, five years old.
@@HomeRightPS how are you doing today How’s Jan Is doing today
SAME
"MOARRRRRR!!!" cried the angry paint mob. For none of them could be appeased.
😂😂😂😂
This was legit my favorite infomercial of my childhood.
I'm so happy to hear that! Thank you again for making the suggestion to post this video.
I'm still enjoying this nostalgia trip of an infomercial lol 😊
Yes, I used to watch infomercials for entertainment and this one used to be one of my favorites (runners up: T-Fal's Infusion Cooker, Magic Bullet, the kitchen food slicer thingee).
"It's not cookware - it's CareWare!"
Oh - and it the thingee was the V-slicer.
Mike Levy’s Amaizing Discoveries were the best .
All time favorite, which I can’t find, was citrus miracle with the hawaiin guy keyonay (I’m sure that’s misspelled). Anyone know where to find it?
I loved the dehydrator! "Tastes like candy!" I loved this paint roller one too, and the sandwich maker! As annoying over-acty as "Nancy" is, she seems to be in my favourite episodes. ;)
@@xtraflo super slicer
Thank you for posting our infomercial to your playlist.
I remember watching this as a young'in in the early-to-mid 90's, and thought it was the cat's pajamas. Never got one, though.
I loved this so much as a kid, I had my mom tape it.
I had ur mom tape it too
@@jakeplumber1373 ugh 🤭🤣
Please upload.
The PaintStick is going to make painting great again.
We're glad you think so!
I bought three of those and they worked great.
Do they still sell these? I remember watching this many times as a kid. It looks awesome even today.
I remember watching this in college late at night eating cheap pizza and warm beer. Good times.
I use to watch this commercial I really enjoyed this product and it is still being made today and I really hope that I can get one some day.
We're glad you remember this oldie but goodie commercial! At HomeRight, we're proud to make products that are built to last. Please head to our website to find a retailer near you!
Here as a no cable in the house kid in the 90s....
Hahaha my parents were hippies and we did not get cable till the late '90s. Lol.
I'm liking the quick mask and that little painter

I dont know anyone that does. That's why I was looking for a vid and stumbled on this one. ...THANKS FOR THE HELP!!!
I'm going to try it this week
So glad you were able to find this video! We hope you enjoy using the tool. Let us know if you have any questions!
I miss stuff like this :(
We're glad you enjoyed!
Jan Mueller now works at QVC, too.
He does not work for QVC as he is not a host. He is a guest presenter for products.
22:16 - When I was younger, I always wondered why THAT guy got a gold one! I always wanted the gold one. hahaha
That brought back pleasant memories of my early childhood. :)
Core memory unlocked!!!!!!! 😭😭😭
Jan Mueller is one of my faves. Lol
Michelle Glaspie here is a video on cleaning that walks through how to reassemble. HomeRight Clean Up the Paintstick
Thank you Ryan.
I disassembled the roller and I don't know how to get the first stopped past the plastic piece on the beginning of the roller. It disassembled very easily, why is it difficult to reassemble?
This was my favorite!!
We're glad you enjoy this video! Thanks for watching again
That guy from the 'Total Trolley' infomercial and the 'Rocket Chef' girl together.
Nancy Nelson doesn’t have a Wikipedia page! That is a grave injustice!
The Dyson of paint rollers, or should I say the Fantom of paint rollers. :)
I miss infomercials like this
They're pretty informative! Let us know if you have any questions 😄
I remember my dad using this. Cleaning wasn't that easy.
DJ Revolver yeah, my dad bought one too. I don't think he used it more than a couple times. Pain in the ass to clean.
the long beep at the beginning fucked me up 😂😂 loud af with headphones on lol
Funny stuff. Thank you for the comment.
You guys rock! Thank you! :D
Is this Jan Mueller's first infomercial?
Great infomercial
I love painting I need this
Awesome, Darren! We think you would love the new version of this, the PaintStick EZ Roller: www.wagnerspraytech.com/products/paint-rollers/paintstick-ez-roller/
@@HomeRightPS does it have a clean system
@@darrendoyle568 Hello again. No, but this video shows how to clean it: ua-cam.com/video/J9PFpqUR4xA/v-deo.html
Looks easy
The way they have the roller resting like that anyone can trip over that.
HomeRightTV What year in the '90s did this infomercial first aired?
1995
I bought one on clearance just after wagner bought them like 5 yrs ago it worked great cleanup was a pain and the vaseline lube after a few uses you can get a Batchelor degree in proctology lol
This is back in the 1990s I was in highschool back then. Lol
We hope you enjoyed the video!
Isn't Nancy the one who Ron Popeil almost knocked out for asking dumb questions about his rotisserie oven?
YES RIP RON
She didn't do the showtime ad
I wonder what happened to Nancy Nelson, she might've retired.
She died after being decapitated in a horrific elevator accident.
Mike Delzoppo her remains were placed in a Ronco food dehydrator
@@scottrogue946 when I go, put me in a ronco pasta extruder

Those old people aren't gonna paint!

Actually nancy nelson is still alive and goes by her married name Carlson. Her husband died from prostate cancer in 2008
People I bought this product years ago. Sat in my house. I always hired pros. Today I tried to use to paint my garage myself. Paint cap won't fit in paint can. Suction tube won't pull enough paint in cylinder. Push in back in ,paint all over tube. Notice pros don't use these gimmicks. Infomercials are for suckers. And I was a sucker back in the day
Hi Cecil, sorry to hear you're experiencing issues. If you would like assistance please contact our technical service team at 1-800-264-5442
That intro music 😆
Pretty funky, right! Almost as cool as our HomeRight products :)
Nancy is dressed like a soccer mom super Mario Bros
The intro music alone is worth buying this glorified paint roller.
Man asks woman if she wants to try using the roller.
Woman says yes.
Man immediately takes the roller off her and paints 3/4 of the wall himself.
It goes to show that using the roller is so addicting and fun!
The paint stick. Is it any wonder how this became the only way to paint? Does home depot even sell the old style paint. sticks, er, paint brushes?
Home Depot is a great place to get all your painting supplies! The PaintStick is also sold at Home Depot: www.homedepot.com/p/HomeRight-9-in-PaintStick-Applicator-Kit-C800953-M/206213398

Companies bust 😂😂
Wagner bought them you can still buy parts and accessories although they changed the style to a pistol grip. I got mine just after the buyout for $20 worth the money but clean up is not fun 😕
I thought this was a new invention
It would have took long if they did not paint the border of the walls and windows
The PaintStick isn't designed for cutting in on tight corners. We have the QuickPainter edging tool for that: amzn.to/2ApOEkm
Thats the worst video-lag ive seen since apollo 11 sent video from the moon! Nice trip down memory lane tho,,,which ive gotten lost on several times cuz i cant remember the way...

That guy with the mullet and green shirt looks like he has bigger problems than painting a house
Funny this is some people were duped by this crap and bought the damn thing, it prob broke in 2 days
I jumped on my paintstick and paint shot out and exploded all over the carpet. Fucking jerk.
This garbage never worked well in real life like it did on these infomercials...But it's nostalgic though!
We have a new and improved version that many customers have found success with! It's under the Wagner brand, which is part of our brand family: www.wagnerspraytech.com/products/paint-rollers/paintstick-ez-roller/
Mine worked great for the $20 clean up was not as easy and the Vaseline you need to use you cld be a proctologist after a few uses lol 😆
This is so bad....its worth watching....try cleaning after..😮
Hello! This product has now transitioned under the Wagner brand and here is a video on how to clean it. You can also get new roller covers: ua-cam.com/video/J9PFpqUR4xA/v-deo.html
