The mission of Brookwood in Georgetown is to provide a God-centered, innovative vocational and residential community for adults with special needs, and to change the way the world views this population.
Brookwood in Georgetown's (BiG) vocational mission is to help special needs adults achieve the universal career dream of meaningful work that provides personal and professional growth. Our community (internal & external) continually witnesses that the cognitive factors of adults with special needs do not make them less than, but instead create a unique point of view and creativity that benefits us all. A Gigabot 4 can provide our citizens with the opportunity to further their technical knowledge, push their personal limits, provide constructive peer relationships and meaningful access to mentors, while allowing them to create unique 3D art to be sold in our award-winning gift shop.
