You are going to have to let me know how it comes out. I've made it a bunch and every time I make it it seems to come out better. Have a great weekend, and enjoy the grill.
This turned out so excellent. Made twenty pieces of chicken . they ate it all and can't wait for me to make it again. A fun cook. Mark this recipe works. I hope other people try this out its easy and tastes great. Have a great week.
@@PapaMark I will do that. I just started grilling with a kettle and I find your videos informative and easy to understand. The rub tastes great btw and now I have a bunch to last me. Thank you for making these videos!
It's totally ok. I wish my chicken turned out as well as yours. Parts of it were crispy but not very. Oh well, I'll give it another shot at a later point. Gonna try your cheesy taters tonight :-)
Those potatoes turned out to be the neighborhood favorite. That's why I didn't get a taste shot at the end. LOL. They didn't last five minutes. I found that if I have too much batter on the chicken it never get's all the way crispy. Good luck with the potatoes.
Mark making this today . Sunday supper. I'm doing your corn casserole with it . like you always say this is gonna be good.

Looks good buddy can’t wait to try this weekend.
Thanks. I didn't shake it off quite enough for the video. Give it a good shake before you drop it on the grill.
Nice !!!
I’m making this today
Happy Birthday America!

@@PapaMark turned out awesome !
I actually pounded out some chicken breast and did the same process (165degrees) and everything was great
Outstanding!!! Thanks for letting us know.
I gotta try this! Thanks !
Thank you. They are so good. I've done it with fish too.
Buddy those chicken thighs look seriously good!!! I've got to try that recipe soon!
TJ Eisenbraun
They are a blast!!!
Serious cool way to show off. LOL
@@markeisenbraun6978 Hahahaha ... That was one cool video!!!
Just doing maintenance on my sight. I found that I replied to this from my other site.
Those look awesome, Mark!
Doug Eisenbraun
Thanks Doug.
I had a blast making them, and I just used the charcoal baskets. No Vortex coal holder is needed.

I made this rub tonight and have the chicken marinating for tomorrow. I hope mine turns out as well as yours did!
Let me know how it comes out. Also that rub is great for jazzing up baked beans too.

I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I'm glad you like the rub.

nice job sir...
Thanks a lot for the kind words.
Oh yay! The vortex method w/o the vortex!
Yes!! Those baskets are so vestal. I've never used the grill without using those baskets.
Would chicken breast without skin work as well??
You can always give it a try, but I think it would dry out before it came up to temp.
Thumbs up! Look great. Total cook time?
Thanks, It took just over 50 minutes. I go by temp, and I pulled these when the thickest one was 165 degrees F.
Did you flip?
No I didn't since you are grilling it indirect the heat surrounds the chicken evenly. Thanks for watching. Let me know if you make this.
It looks like there's a lot of flour left in that crust.
Yes. Now I give it a little more of a shake before I put it on. But no kidding, this recipe is outstanding.
What?
Not sure what you are asking. Give it a try.
