Hello AW! Enjoyed your video. I watched it all the way through. I’m gonna have to remember your technique on frying chicken on the grill. That chicken looked delicious and crispy! I like the name of your channel too! I’m all about helping fellow UA-camrs. I remember how it was for me when I started out. I’m not a big channel, but I’m a long ways from what I was when I started. I subbed to your channel. I also liked and rang the bell! I own a weber smoky mountain and a weber smoky Joe. Love cooking on them. Take care of my friend!
Hello, I run here around 275 degrees . The bottom vent is slightly open. The top is mostly open. Then half way through I move the exhaust vent to the opposite side of the grill to make sure every thing is cooking even. Time wise look for golden brown flip, and cook chicken to safe temp.
They look delicious. I noticed that you didn't flip them. Is that to keep the top crust intact? I tried a similar method years ago with Shake 'n Bake. It was pretty much a disaster. Yours looks great though.
Yes. I didn’t flip! Yes to keep the top / presentation side nice. The vortex indirect heat is an oven. I rotated them and it will get done without flipping. Great for noticing that. Give it another try with shake and bake. Make sure your temps or high and spray with light oil. Don’t flip and your should be good to go! Thanks for your comment!
@@cookbbq2477 did it meet your expectations. I remember i smoked some wings for 2½hrs and flour them an fried them. They was some of the best wings I ever cooked. And I don't fry much
