i'm going from memory of an interview here: squire said something like "it was a conversation over some drinks and him being who he is, he's gonna get co-writing credits" seemed to me squire was saying it wasn't like they sat down and wrote a song together. I thought he meant Liam demanded credit. just my opinion tho.
Love Me and Leave Me" was Liam Gallagher's first full-credited song as a co writer with John Squire. Very good song. John Lennon's God a distance influence with the believe lines I think. Good stuff . One album I like it and maybe that's all they had and sometimes it's best that way.

If Squire was bothered, he shouldn't have been cos collaborations benefit both bands.
