This is the very best thing that came of all those years of Top Gear. #bringbacktheband
This is the first time I have ever seen this..My 3 favourite presenters playing my all time favourite song. Magic.. And Richard Hammond is actually a very good bass player
His voice is perfect for 70's soul music! This is a super cute performance!
The greatest DJ this country has ever produced , spent a great many days during the 80s listening to Steve Wright in the afternoon, he was once said the music ,well that just speaks for itself...it was the magnificent way he entertained his listeners in a way no other DJ could ....The GOAT of the airwaves ..and this intro to his show simply the greatest intro of them all , I so wish I could have that as my ringtone....RIP Steve ,you gave countless millions so much joy for many decades
Richard does so well to get Jeremy into the right time frame. True musicianship from the Hampster
04:00 Jeremy’s random symbol crash and Hammond reaction the best part 😂
Hammond plays it really good (:
a great humour
This was significantly better than I expected it to be.
It s incredible how happy the chaps are looking. Everytime they look at each other i have to smile. And the whole atmosphere, the qualtiy of filming back in 2007 shows the real old top gear. Produced with heart, love and great british humor. And this isn‘t even the car show only a spin off... You know what i mean.😅
Jeremy's face at 1:34 always cracks me up 😂 it's such a 'it wasn't my fault' look.
I miss these three presenters.
If you read his book "The world according to Clarkson" (i don't remember which part though, there are three) there is a piece when he says that it was the producers' idea and he barely knew how to play the drums. Also that he chose this song because it seemed relatively easy and devoid of drum fills.
0:23 May: "My piano that I've got at home does not have all these knobs on it"
Clarkson in my mind: "no, but there is always one knob on it..."
I'm really impressed at the talent of jeremy, it really showed that his snare and kick were always timed perfectly throughout!! Where the much easier to control hi hat was timed horribly all the way through 😂 bless him
Classic Top Gear. Love it.
cant even lie top gear is a brilliant band name
you couldn't have asked for a better trio to present the biggest and most entertaining motoring show...in the world! Clarkson, Hammond and May, what a great combination. Top Gear will always be my favourite TV show....in the world!
you need to get out more top geard is hosted by 3 snobs
Hammond was really good. The bass and Justin's vocals were really powerful. I'm surprised how they all collaborated so well.
Just heard Billy’s version on radio and had to come back here! ❤😂👌🏼
I love when the camera show their faces and they’re absolutely terrified.
Hammond can play can play bass very well the ending from him was impressive
Big respect to the singer Justin as well..put his ego aside for that one and sounded great!
Jeremy has no sense of rhythm, lol.
Or time
Ulfhedn4r - Fakebit Music You can't call him a wanker because he doesn't have enough rhythm to masturbate.
+David Scott He yells POWWWWWWWWWWWWWWA while doing it.
+Ulfhedn4r - Chiptune Musician Still better than Lars
Who cares about rhythm, power solves everything. Power and hammers.
Maybe if he used hammers for drumsticks, it'd work?
Jezza never needs to be sorry. Anyone who is willing to try something new is gold.
I love this ! I can`t believe I have never seen this until now. Absolutely MEGA.
The look on James May's face starting at 3:33! 😂 After having read how long it took to capture enough footage, the final version isn't half bad, really. I enjoy watching this. I've been a drummer for a long time, and this would've been a lot of fun to play along to.
Jeremy isnt off beat hes just playing a polyrhythm and Hamster eas pretty alright on the bass!
It can only be Jeremy who throughout the whole Top Gear journey at the end of every Challenge says, 'How hard can it be' Well I mean if you are playing as a drum player, it's hard but we salute you for doing it. Mainly because you were one of the greatest hosts for a car show ever. I mean you still do the Grand Tour but without the tent. You and JM and RH are one of the best trios ever. You entertained us for 17 years, apart from JM who came on at 16yrs. Quoting from RH, you were late😅🤣 Don't ever stop entertaining us because the impact that you have on this country is worth more to us then gold🙌
Jeremy just called me he said thank you for your message
I always found that little concert lovely, it's look like they really enjoying themselves. Can't take away the smile on my face after that
They are the best trio
The amazing Three Amigos
I gotta say, this makes me so sad. Never watched it live, but I miss being a kid watching these three. I miss my childhood. Lifes gotten so hard and sad and I cant remember what it feels like to be happy, and my childhood wasnt exactly the happiest.....But damn I miss it so much cuz it was better than this. I wanna go back so bad. I want a redo.
You need to let go of the imagined past. It was just as bad. Concentrate on improving the present and future. Moping and reminiscing does no one any good.
@@daviebananas1735 No point, damage has been done already and I cant go back. I dont plan on being around much longer anyway. Ive got nothing to live for.
@@Amm17ar nobody can go back. Your life will always be miserable with your attitude. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and feel grateful. You are much better off than many in this world. Be humble and work hard.
Still better than one direction
You must be deff or something. Even though I don't like One erection, I'm quite sure its million mile ahead of these puppets.
Pvulture b Nah. Get them a drummer who can keep rhythm and they'd be a pretty solid act to be honest.
***** ok; Mrstig691.
Also better than two directions.
Better than going in different directions.😂
As a drummer, Jeremy, for a few lessons and some practice before did alright especially for being super nervous. And don't worry Jeremy, the amount of times I've launched my stuck is unbelievable, but you kept going. I'm also a bassist and Hammond really has some good rhythm and they should totally grow their skills more!
I miss these guys on this show so much - it truly was a golden era of tv and we didn't even realise it
Just found this. . They were all amazing 👏 you just got to love em all ❤
