Illegal immigrants come to the U.S. to collect welfare benefits. The politicians give immigrants and their children housing, food, clothing and otherwise. If you look up their city, like several others, they have not seen anything beyond an independent, 99% just Democrats and not the reasonable ones from like New England and what not, all you will find in the last 100 years on the city council, mayor-staff, and police for over 100 years. International law and US law say asylum seekers stop in the first safe country they reach. None of these countries that migrants are coming from border the US. These are economic migrants, not asylum seekers. Asylum is not trying to find work. Asylum is to escape political, religious or other persecution.

I´m from germany, i realized something that the rich part of the west has in common. immigrants rush through safe and peaceful countries to get to germany. Why? because we give migrants money. Here is the low-down for anyone interested. The Border Patrol apprehends the illegal immigrant who are surrendering. the illegal is searched for potential weapons and their property is secured. The Border Patrol takes them to the Station for basic fingerprint and digital photo. The illegal is then transported to a tent-city, one of a dozen set up along the US/Mex border. At the camps, the comes through ”intake”Their property is placed in a room. The immigrants are separate between single male/female juveniles, single male,single females, families, single males and are placed in “pods”. (Large secure rooms). The illegal immigrants are then able to go take showers and are given sweatpants, shirts and crocs. The illegals stay at the camps for about 48 hours. During that time , each illegal is interviewed or “processed”. During processing, the illegal describes their journey in a narrative, saying where they are from and where they are going in the USA. At this point, each illegal must declare a sponsor, someone who can provide food and shelter to the illegal while they wait for their court date and asylum hearing. The Border Patrol then contacts the local immigration court at the city where the SPONSOR lives. After that, they are brought to “Outtake”, given a Samsung Galaxy phone and a $1500 cash card. They are then put on buses and taken to NGOs. The NGOs are being paid by the US Govt to assist the illegal with transportation planning etc. They usually spend no more than a few days waiting for their transportation to the cities where they declared their sponsors are living.
So now, here is the reason this has exploded. In first week as President, Joe Biden cancelled dozens of Trump border policies. Trump had the border crossing down to less than 500 per day nationwide. One of Trumps most successful policies was called the “Remain in Mexico” program. If an illegal claims asylum, under international law, they can be held in the first safe country they enter. In the case of 99% of illegals coming into the US, Mexico is that country. Under Trump, the they declare asylum and go back to Mexico and wait for their asylum hearing. ( very few actually qualify for asylum). Joe Biden cancelled the Remain in Mexico program and created the “asylum loophole”. Instead of sending the illegals back to Mexico where they crossed from, Biden allowed illegals to wait in the US for their asylum hearings. The problem with this is that the immigration courts in all of the major cities have backlogs all the way into 2031. So the average illegal crossing today and going to any of these major US cities is waiting 5-7 years for their asylum hearing to determine if they are allowed to stay in the US. It’s absurd and the Biden administration knows all of this is going on. Most people already know this but if a baby is born on US soil, even to an illegal, they are automatically a citizen, and their mother has grounds to become one also. If there is a father in the picture, he will have grounds as the “breadwinner” to stay as well.
The issue with the shelters. Remember, every illegal has declared that they have a SPONSOR that is supposed to ensure the illegal does not become a burden of the state. So every single one of those illegals in the shelters lied about having sponsors. The Border Patrol has no way to verify every sponsor due to time restrictions. That’s right, Biden made it a policy that the illegals could only be. held in the camps for 48 hours. With 7500-10,000 people coming in per day under Biden, it is just one big assembly line.
The reason the Border Patrol and other men in uniform are just letting people in is because of Biden’s policy on how to handle asylum seekers. When Biden cancelled Trumps Remain in Mexico program, that gave the green light for anyone to get into US, declare asylum, and go wherever they want. What you are seeing in those scenes is the “Biden asylum loophole” in action. Biden basically made it illegal for the Border Patrol to do their job. In addition, you Biden froze all wall construction his first week as well. In many places the materials for the wall secured by Trump are stacked in piles along the border since Biden took office. Practically all the equipment at the camps is rented at exorbitant rates. The actual land, the Generators, the vehicles, the tents, even the buses (which are Mostly from 1980s) are rented at unbelievable rates. It takes several million per day to operate each camp along the border. Private security, maintenance crews, cleaning staff, catering…everything is contractors and they are generously compensated. The camps have become like auto-plants or steel mills were in the 70s. (The best paying jobs in the regions).
I’ve been as accurate as possible here. I’ve actually worked at the camps. They tried to keep them out of the media ever since BIDEN changed the policies. Photography is banned and media has Been restricted. Whenever, an official comes to tour a camp, a call is made to the cartels to halt “traffic” until the dog and pony show is over. In Majorkis’ latest photo-op, the one camp was down to 20 illegals for that day, then after he left,it went back up in a few days to the normal 1500. It was all planned out in coordination with the cartels who are making millions per day in trafficking these people from Mexico to the US border.

It’s easier for them to blend in on west coast, so they are mostly crossing into California. The cartels offer different rates for different groups. The cartels have an elaborate system. They use to use colored wristbands to sell different levels of protection. For example, young woman can buy “rap# insurance” for a price, are given a certain colored wristband, and everyone knows not to mess with those women since they are insured protection from the cartel. You can buy silver, gold or platinum plans that could mean better food, better accommodation’s such as newer buses in the transport through Mexico. The going price was anywhere between 5k-10k per illegal. Asians usually pay more.

The migrant who said he was an auto mechanic but wages weren't sufficient. Further the video states that people were coming for "opportunity" and "a fresh start". None of these individuals are eligible for asylum under American law! The law clearly states an asylum seeker has a credible fear of persecution from authorities for political beliefs, ethnicity or religious beliefs. Further the international law is that the migrant is required to apply for asylum in the first country they come to in which they are safe. Both the Obama and Biden administration has ignored the law expanding it to include economic migrants, spouses fleeing abuse and LGBTQ. They are instructed to say "credible fear of persecution" at the border and they get a pass pending a hearing years away.

I see it first hand in NYC. The crime and stupid motorbikes is insane. Now stealing and punching women for their phones. NYC has always had a crime issue, but now most people really feel unsafe. The cops are being attacked, people are afraid of the subway, trash everywhere. We have our own homeless and drug addiction that we need to be taking care of first. Your question, am I doing alright... I'm a service connected disabled vet over the time I've been such my monthly compensation has been increased by approximately $1000, totaling a yearly increase of $12,000. While congress has increased their pay by approximately $100,000+ a year.
There are cities outside of Chicago. Deep in Illinois that are practically void of people that, these immigrants could be shipped to. They could rebuild these small towns, making them viable again and start their own communities. From what I've noticed about immigrants from the Latin countries is; they will move into broken and forgotten areas, rebuild the properties and start small businesses of all sorts. They truly have united communities that commerce with each other and create viable and sustainable tax bases. When their first generation children gain college degrees and move up the economic ladder, those offspring tend to stay in their communities and help bring others in the family up the ladder with them. They don't move away and cut everyone off that helped them along their way.
I'm a Black Women living in Chicagoland and I'm not advocating for illegal immigration at all but, now that Biden has placed them here, there needs to be some kind of resolution to this problem. This is just a suggestion. I wish that the Black community had the type of village mentality that these folks have. Unfortunately, as a whole, we do not. This is why we will never accomplish anything significant in America no matter how many handouts the government gives us. Mentally (in general) we are a broken people with an enslaved mentality that relies on father Government for everything.
It is sickening for me to watch other people's come to the U.S and surpass us economically, in numbers and educationally in only a few years when, the Black community has been here for over 200 years. We could learn alot from these folks if we wanted to.
To be fair, you don’t see African Americans en masse running to other countries and begging for their social services. We are asking for services in the country of our origin, and we get castigated for it. It’s insane to show up in someone else’s country illegally and then demand food, shelter without work

I had an older woman approach me with a baby in the parking lot of my grocery store asking me to buy her food. I am not in one of these 'target cities', but it is becoming more common. I also drive past YOUNG (18-30) able bodied people on nearly every intersection begging for money. Meanwhile, almost every business in the area has "Help Wanted" signs up. I've had people beg for money while standing next to a "Help Wanted" sign.
About 8 years ago, before this all got completely out of control, I watched a man pull into the parking lot of the company I worked for. The car was brand new ~$40k. He was dressed like a hobo and proceeded to walk over to the major intersection nearby with a cardboard sign where he begged for money.
These people are swindlers looking to prey upon the compassion of others.

@@Emmy-J I already mentioned the razor wire. The solution was a wall not a fence. A wall with checkpoints and surveillance, so any attempted breaches can be intercepted real-time. Drone surveillance could track any breachers that are not immediately intercepted for units to be strategically deployed. No defense will work 100% but a drastic reduction will have a significant impact. The cost-saving to the city can help fund it.

The 3 big democrat states, California, Chicago and New York are being hammered which will definitely sway voters wanting to do anything to make it stop. Also, the property transfer tax increase won't just make people leave... it will make rich people leave. If you have to pay an extra $50K to sell you house, why would you buy another in the same tax area. So you sell, pay it once, and move. If you get rid of the wealthy all you have left are the poor. Then where does tax money come from?
