I agree. As an independent, not a republican or Maga, i agree. Anyone caught here illegally should be deported, but even more so criminals. We should be open to allowing people in from terrible situations who follow due process, we should not allow illegal immigration and criminals in. Cities should not have to deal with all the illegals, instead they should be able to slowly work on a system where they can open up accepting migrants through a valid process when they are ready to do so. No matter what side your on, the current system is broken. I blame these things over political extremism, it's always the left undoing the right and the right undoing the left and nothing ever gets done when both sides only fight and bicker over everything.

I hope I am just being paranoid but It seems like the Government is purposely causing chaos across America especially in the big cities, so when the citizens are tired of this and start rioting or taking the law into their own hands etc. it will give gov the excuse to get the military or national guard on the streets so they can take more of your rights away. Exactly! My husband is a vet who was deployed 4 times and left the marine corps with a damaged body and ptsd. Much of what he's been struggling with is a direct result of our shity government. I worked with a Mexican that was here illegally. He saved enough money to buy a car, but had no license, insurance, id....nothing.
A couple weeks into him having his car, he didnt show up to work. Soon after, I got a call from the Texas state troopers wanting to know where he was.
I didnt know, he was just a coworker, but he had given them MY number as his contact, and thats why they had called me.
Shortly before this story, I had been pulled over on the way to work and didnt have my insurance card on me. I wasnt allowed to drive away, and had to get someone to come pick me up, get my insurance card and take it to the court to prove I had insurance. No biggie, it was what is was.
So back to this coworker....it turns out that he had been pulled over and let go 3 times, with NO paperwork, no insurance, registration....nothing, and that in addition to that, he also caused an accident, let go. I mentioned my recent encounter and asked why if theyd do that to me....WHY the hell would they let him drive away 4 frigging times, even after causing a bad accident and hurting someone.
It turns out that he was a wanted criminal in Mexico and had left to come here to avoid arrest.

Then you get British citizens (British Army veteran with a BSc Engineering degree) like myself, with no criminal record and never contravening any US Immigration rules or conditions, being denied entry to the USA. Then subsequently denied visas to travel to the USA, for vacation, to visit my two US Citizen children. Apparently these people are preferable to law abiding folks these days.

If you’re from the UK you don’t need a travel visa to visit America. You only need to apply for one if you’re staying longer than 90 days.
