That should have been done from the start. When I tried to immigrate LEGALLY might I add I knew I had to give my fingerprint and have clean record as well a verification that I speak English amongst other things and I was denied due to how many illegal immigrants go to the US who don't have to give anything at all, they simply come and go as they please.
Imagine this, people who love American people, culture, respect the laws and don't mind contributing something to society getting denied while the people who hate Americans and the US, commit crimes, take advantage of the system so Americans support them through their taxes and so on are being welcomed into the US ...🫤

I don't understand the gridlock on immigration
- Every country has it own right to determine how and why to allow immigration legally
- Every effort should be made to prevent illegal entry, such as securing border access, stringent handling of illegal entry (immediate deportation/future entry ban)
- No assylum consideration for non-legal entrants
- overhauling the whole system to be better streamlined, and serves the country and its population needs

My kids and i were hit by a bug SUV who ran a stop sign. Driven by an illegal from SA, No ID, no DL, no insurance, was given a ticket and never found again, my kids and I all went to the hospital with injuries that we had to pay for. This in 2007. More will exp this to come.

We (U.S.) started the war on drugs, that was concentrated in Columbia, we arrested a few. Killed a few, and the rest scattered to other countries in south and Central America.
What were poor but basically peaceful countries, now had Columbian drug gangs, with native members, that broke those places.
Drugs, shootings and kidnappings became endemic. People fled, north, to our southern border. Gang members came along also.
Texas, Arizona, and , California, and especially New York, should not bear the brunt of our failed drug war.
The federal government, needs to fix, what they broke, south of our border.
Republicans insisted on sanctions for Argentina, people are starving, sanctions worked, there is no food.
The feds broke central and south America, we need to fix it, so folk can go home.
