The Chanel eclat lumiere concealer used to be my everyday go-to as well! I have now switched to the Sisley Paris Stylo Lumiere if you care to try it out yourself. I found the switch to be wonderful, a cushion pen rather than brush pen, and it seems to me the product lasts longer without drying on the pen. Would highly recommend!
I’m playing Matilda’s videos on the bg as I do my modules for online class and it’s the most relaxing thing ever,, something about the clean video clips, makeup, and her calming voiceovers make me so damn focused for my classwork. My absolute favorites are Erborian CC Cream (Centella) + Estee Lauder Double Wear Brush-on Glow BB Highlighter (I’ve been using it for several years now) + Chanel Lip Blush in Teasing Pink. They are perfect.

I feel like Honest Beauty (a great natural vegan makeup brand!) and Burts Bees Makeup (especially their all aglow cream highlight stick) would be right up your alley. I’ve found them to be my holy grail brand for light, comfortable, and natural makeup. They’re both really affordable, too!

I‘m currently using up old stuff, but if I had to pick my favourite fast five, they would be: RMS Uncover Up Concealer to brighten my eyes RMS Magic Luminizer as an eyeshadow and highlighter duo (if I feel like highlighting) Naturaglacé Lipstick 09 Nude as a blush and lip duo, sometimes even as an eyeshadow „Und Gretel“ Wint Mascara in black Josh Rosebrooks hairspray to fix my brows (I have super dark, bushy brows naturally, so I won‘t need any colour) I‘m experimenting with eye looks more often now, as it is the only thing visible under a mask. I don't use brushes a ton because I enjoy using cream products with my fingers or the applicator, so I would love to see an edit of some of your favorites for different steps and uses! x

the ohii lip smudge formula is much more velvety and smooth compared to the glossier formula. it’s very comfortable to wear whereas the glossier one is more balmy and a little drying on me. hope it helps! :)
Definitely very different Luna! I agree with the comment above - as I mention in the video, the Generation G bullet is very firm so the formula can be slightly drying at times, but this one is much more soft and creamy 👏 x
I love the Armani luminous silk face & undereye concealer with the new Sisley phyto powder. I use one of my bronzers and then the Ilia balmy gloss tinted lip oils which are completely addictive!🥐☕
I’m loving the Charlotte Tilbury concealer (the one that has the sponge applicator) that has a subtle brightening effect. I’m still on the hunt for my forever concealer but this one is certainly at the top now as it’s also buildable for stubborn spots or on the occasions when my base is slightly heavier than my normal light coverage. Also Marc Jacobs lip gloss in rebel rebel is probably my all time favourite gloss! Non sticky- not overly shiny to the point it looks plastic or gloopy, but gives a really healthy sheen and wears beautifully with a ‘my lips but better’ shade to it that makes it look like I’ve just got a really hydrating balm on vs an actual gloss. It also has very very subtle glitter (which normally I’d hate) but the glitter is so fine it’s virtually undetectable but makes my lips look way fuller
I tried Fitglow color corrector in Peach but wasn’t sure about it in the beginning. Brought it out again & decided I really like it. I used Becca’s corrector for quite a while & do like it as well

Yes to the lip smudge in Scorpio! It was the only coloured lip product I brought home for quarantine. I also love the red (Cherry, I think?) and am sure you would too-like a cooler version of Generation G in Zip
I am very passionate about sunscreen. So glad you mention it as a very important step. I wear sunscreen even on rainy days, and Vancouver BC has plenty of those. Shu uemura brow pencil is another must for me. Mona Lisa is my nick name which says it all. Subscribed!

The Nars eyeshadow primer is excellent for powder, cream and liquid eyeshadows. Eyeshadow stays on all day without creasing, even in hot weather. Bourjois also does an eyeshadow primer which is also very good, and keeps eyeshadow in place all day. My daily make-up routine is usually Dior undercover foundation under the eyes to conceal dark circles, and on any part of my face to even out skin tone. Then I would either wear Bourjois liquid eyeshadow or Chanel's liquid eyeliner, follow with lots of mascara. My favourite mascara of all time is Dior Addict mascara, unfortunately it is now discontinued😞. I am on a low buy this year, as I want to use up a lot of stuff in my make-up bag, this applies to skincare and perfumes.

I have the Ohii Lip Smudge in the shade Motive and I love it!! It’s a pinky peach color, similar to the way the Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam looks on my skin, but of course, on my lips instead of my cheeks! It’s the only shade I have but I really want to try more!!

Hey Matilda! I don't think I've seen you show Westman Atelier products yet. My staple this year, under the mask that has to be worn at work (silk, by Natalie Begg, that I handwash and dry with the Dyson) is the Peau de Peche super loaded tinted highlighter... It is wondrous... Keeps me looking alive without being overdone, and the gleam on the cheek bone in a Zoom call is beautiful. And smells lovely. Highly recommend.

I would love to see a video or post on favorite makeup brushes! I don't use brushes a ton because I enjoy using cream products with my fingers or the applicator, so I would love to see an edit of some of your favorites for different steps and uses! x

Your look is my look Matilda! I’m a bit oily though so I’m careful with the shimmer. Love your choices and I have many of the same. I buy mindfully and buy quality, your videos are always an inspiration to the look I like, natural, fresh and young. Would love some suggestions for the skin tints and bb/cc products/ light bases or whatever they call them these days! Xx
Do you think that the ohii lip smudge is maybe a dupe for glossier generation g? I've had my eye on the shade cake in the glossier formula, but I've been looking to see if there is a similar cheaper option. What is your opinion? Thanks! :)
the ohii lip smudge formula is much more velvety and smooth compared to the glossier formula. it’s very comfortable to wear whereas the glossier one is more balmy and a little drying on me. hope it helps! :)
Definitely very different Luna! I agree with the comment above - as I mention in the video, the Generation G bullet is very firm so the formula can be slightly drying at times, but this one is much more soft and creamy 👏 x
I love the Armani luminous silk face & undereye concealer with the new Sisley phyto powder. I use one of my bronzers and then the Ilia balmy gloss tinted lip oils which are completely addictive!🥐☕

I’m loving the Charlotte Tilbury concealer (the one that has the sponge applicator) that has a subtle brightening effect. I’m still on the hunt for my forever concealer but this one is certainly at the top now as it’s also buildable for stubborn spots or on the occasions when my base is slightly heavier than my normal light coverage.
Also Marc Jacobs lip gloss in rebel rebel is probably my all time favourite gloss! Non sticky- not overly shiny to the point it looks plastic or gloopy, but gives a really healthy sheen and wears beautifully with a ‘my lips but better’ shade to it that makes it look like I’ve just got a really hydrating balm on vs an actual gloss. It also has very very subtle glitter (which normally I’d hate) but the glitter is so fine it’s virtually undetectable but makes my lips look way fuller

I tried Fitglow color corrector in Peach but wasn’t sure about it in the beginning. Brought it out again & decided I really like it. I used Becca’s corrector for quite a while & do like it as well

Yes to the lip smudge in Scorpio! It was the only coloured lip product I brought home for quarantine. I also love the red (Cherry, I think?) and am sure you would too-like a cooler version of Generation G in Zip

I am very passionate about sunscreen. So glad you mention it as a very important step. I wear sunscreen even on rainy days, and Vancouver BC has plenty of those.

The Nars eyeshadow primer is excellent for powder, cream and liquid eyeshadows. Eyeshadow stays on all day without creasing, even in hot weather. Bourjois also does an eyeshadow primer which is also very good, and keeps eyeshadow in place all day.
My daily make-up routine is usually Dior undercover foundation under the eyes to conceal dark circles, and on any part of my face to even out skin tone. Then I would either wear Bourjois liquid eyeshadow or Chanel's liquid eyeliner, follow with lots of mascara. My favourite mascara of all time is Dior Addict mascara, unfortunately it is now discontinued😞. I am on a low buy this year, as I want to use up a lot of stuff in my make-up bag, this applies to skincare and perfumes.

I have the Ohii Lip Smudge in the shade Motive and I love it!! It’s a pinky peach color, similar to the way the Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam looks on my skin, but of course, on my lips instead of my cheeks! It’s the only shade I have but I really want to try more!!

nothing gets me more excited than everyday makeup for some reason 😂 wonderful video as always, matilda! i remember those ohii lip smudges coming out and was intrigued then. the way you described them reminds me of one of my very first makeup products i stole from my mom, the bare minerals purely brilliant lipstick in delicate cinnamon. i loved it so much i have the name memorized. it’s definitely gone bad by now. might have to try the ohii version out!

Hey Matilda! I don't think I've seen you show Westman Atelier products yet. My staple this year, under the mask that has to be worn at work (silk, by Natalie Begg, that I handwash and dry with the Dyson) is the Peau de Peche super loaded tinted highlighter... It is wondrous... Keeps me looking alive without being overdone, and the gleam on the cheek bone in a Zoom call is beautiful. And smells lovely. Highly recommend.
