Try to keep up as the boss takes us for a a quick stop at his favourite burger joint, then gives us an update on the progress of the 1969 Charger 500 restoration, and takes us for a blast in a 1966 Belvedere that his client wanted made into a torque monster. Hold tight!

The best thing about 60's plymouths is their blunt aggresive body style. Big block, tons of torque, its like blacksmiths hammer!

I had a 72 Dart Swinger 225 slant 6 in the same yellow in1985. My dad and I put a Clifford dual exhaust and 4 bbl intake. The head was ported and polished with 177 intakes and 144 exhaust valves. We bought the biggest lift and duration cam that we could find. My dad put a Dana 60 rear end in it that had stock gears from a 383 car. It sounded like a bunch of firecrackers going off. It was a fun build. Happy anniversary to you and your wife. Much love from Rockford Illinois.

About 30 years ago a friend and I tracked down the owner of a 66 belvedere, it was a 383 auto, radio/heater delete car. My friend bought the car. The deal was, if he was ever to sell the car I was to get first dibs buying g it from him. He called me one day, says, guess what. I knew right away, he sold the car and didn't tell me, he let the car go for $1500 which was a steal even at that time. Love the 66/67 Satelite/Belvedere/GTX. The Charger is looking incredible Nick👌

Wow, cool! I remember seeing that '66 Plymouth Belvedere up on the rack and was wondering when it would be featured on the show. My first car was an Arctic White '66 Plymouth Belvedere 2 door hardtop with red interior (with 273 V8, auto. trans., it ran great and was built like a tank!) I miss that car... Happy Anniversary to Nick and his wife! Love the show, Mopar or no car!

Hi Nick, I was 16 years old in 1969 and worked at a Pontiac dealer. I saw cars with whitewalls on one side and blackwalls on the other side, even saw a Pontiac with a complete Chevy interior. I guess assembly lines then and now aren't perfect. : ) I guess that's why the back-up lights on the Charger were messed up. P. S. Love your channel.

I had a 69 Sport Satillite rag top the same color. Many times over the decades have I longed to have that car again. Although Eugene's is a Dodge it still jogs fond memories of days with my Plymouth and the other mussel cars where I grew up and played. I'm sure Eugene well up with pride when he sees it again (for the first time). Happy Anniversory Mr. and Misses Panaritis.

    *NICK!*
Ah, road stories. We all got 'em and some of them are borderline disgusting. :-)
    All part of it...
By the way, that shifter in the Belvedere looks to be one of the sloppiest Hursts I've
ever witnessed. It sure could use a rebuilding. How much of that is slop in the A-833?

I miss my 66 Satellite. Sold it to keep my house in 2009 when my dealership was shut down.
I had a customer at JBA Speed Shop that had a Belvedere in that same color. We swapped the poly out for a 438(383 stroked) Indy 440 iron heads and a A-833 with a GearVendor and 3.55s.

Like some of the old folks said “ Moderation “ everything in moderation, that includes eating too! I just missed going to Nam by about 4-5 years, or I should say, if I had been 4-5 years older I probably would’ve got sent to Nam, actually it was probably only around three years when they were pulling the last troops out of there, but my National Guard unit was sent there I think it was 68-70 or something like that, I joined up in 77’. Happy Anniversary Nick to you and your wife!

Bought a new 66 Plymouth Belvedere II, The same color as this one, 383 Commando (4 Barrel) with the bullet proof Torque Flight tranny, It was a sleeper. Love the patina, begs not to be redone. Back then you ordered a car to be built, Mine took just 3 weeks from ordering at the dealer to delivery.

There's always tire smoke around here Let's start the week with a smokin 66 Belvedere! When Nick is out on a road trip he always eats light He doesn't want to arrive late because of a toilet break So a well done burger and a few fries is the choice he will make On the way to check Eugenes Charger 500 for an update I like the solid colours not so keen on custom metal flake The Badges are on the colour nice and strong all these little fiddly jobs explains why proper paint and body takes so long Nick is having a busy day out in the Hell Cat No drama driving it in the rain for a pro driver like Nick it won't give him a heart attack Congratulations for Nick's 30th wedding anniversary Family is what it's all about in the good times and through adversity Nick's Garage is like muscle car university This 66 Plymouth looks like it's gonna shred some rubber to me Nick is driving hardcore foot to the floor Mikes car is what you want when you're going to drag strip War Sideways action scrambling for traction Nick's Garage my favourite Monday distraction

I would like Nick to say he will build a engine for your "CAR" To clear things up, #1. You have to send proof showing YOU have owned for 10 years or more. #2. Nick will work with you on your design, on the dyno. #3. You may buy one and only one ticket for $10 dollars. Let,s be fair,. #4. Nick will have the car put back into street driven Quiality., as needed. Not show quality. Yes Nick will work with you. Elegible cars are mopar, 1950 to 1990. All engines.
What engine will be built, Slant 6, A, B,RB,Hemi. ?
(This is a good money maker too.)
This sounds like what the average Joe Drives!

That's because of the length of the handle. It gives the look of sloppy shifts but if the original shifter was there it would look much tighter smoother and easier. Still a very cool SLEEPER 66.
