Wow, what an amazing video!!! I felt like I was right there with you guys the whole time, smelling the fumes from the Petro 94, and hearing all of the sounds that are there during the first start of the engine in the 500. Hearing the good vibrations from the open headers, man it just doesn't get any better than that. I had a smile on my face the during the entire video and a tear in my eyes as well. George you did an incredible job on this video, everything was spot on, the camera angles the sound, and I didn't even mind sitting on the tire machine, lol. You made me feel like I was part of the entire experience, and I thank you for that. Nick & Manny thank you so much for all of your hard work over the entire build. The 500 looks better than it ever has, and you have exceeded my expectations throughout the build. Another muscle car saved by Nick's Garage, The best little garage in Laval Quebec, with a giant reputation. The ending of the video was very special for me, and 100 Bikes For Kids, thank you so much.

    Great video, great car!
Eugene: I’ve been on the Lexington for a weekend with our Scout Troop 303 from Springtown, TX. Just a super experience for everyone. There’s a legend that the ship is haunted, so I played a trick on the boys, and hid in a location that was (a little) off-limits, and waited for them to come to that area in the unsupervised walking tour. While they were looking down an unlit hallway, I slowly, like a zombie, stepped into the open and they all freaked out. So funny. Some of them still believe it wasn’t me. 😂
I’m retired USAF. I’m guessing that you were a pilot? I wouldn’t mind hearing your story if you’re willing to talk about it.
    Cheers and congratulations!

Eugene's sleeping beauty has awakened from her very long sleep. With that being said, even after a long sleep, a kink or 2 might appear, but nothing that can't be easily taken care of, just by stretching and a little more yawning, so to speak. Great looking car Eugene, and a great shop to have the work done. Nick and his team did an awesome job, as they always do. Your sleeping beauty will be stretching her muscles a bit more, and get fully dressed and get warmed up, then ready to do what she was built to do, and that's not only looking great, but running great as well. It has been a very long labor of love, that was enjoyed by all.👍👍

  • @danielbutler578

Makes me think of my first car. It was put together from a wrecked 65 Ford Galaxie and a stripped 67 Mercury Marquis. The engine was a 352 T-bird engine and had a lot of miles on it. Once I got it warmed up, it would start with just a bump on the starter. I wish I still had it and could put it in top shape again. I would build the engine to original specs because it was too wild for me when it was worn out. I once had the car on an icy hill turned about 45 degrees across the road with the speedometer reading about 85 mph. She inched up the hill with my brother screaming that we were going to die. That old girl would flat out fly. I only took her to top end once and she was well over 120 after coasting down for about a tenth of a mile. That broke me from wanting to race because I nearly went off the left side of the highway when I let off the gas. I really miss that car.
