Your philosophy of 'times being simple' was truly fascinating. As well as how an environment has just as much potential to tell a story as a character has. I'd love to hear more of what you know and your theories! Thank you for this
There is an option called "Emulate Numpad" which makes your number keys work the same as your Numpad keys. No need to buy a separate Numpad or a new keyboard for that matter.
Great work, and video! This relaxing and helpfull at the same time jaja, im just starting with Blender and your videos help a lot , thank you!! Cheers from Argentina
Great Video, I love the style in substance painter, to where I decided to try substance painter for the first time and this style. I am running into an issue though. My curvature mask seems to be incorrect and I seem to be getting artifacts where separate meshes are touching the location of the texture. I can't seem to find a solution so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi and good day, I exported maps from the new painter to blender and all maps were wrong even diffuse map was wrong colors, is the new substance 3d painter compatible with blender?
Can anyone tell me why, did he had to, use uv and unwrap every object, and then use shader? He could have used the normal, edit mode to select the faces of the object and add material tp it. I just have known, people using uv for adding texture...and I am new ..so I would be happy if someone will help me out 🥲
There a multiple types of “mapping” textures in 3D. When it comes to baking mesh maps, which are used as masks (like photoshop) in substance painter, you’ll need your object UV unwrapped. Blender’s “Generated” and “Object” mapping modes may not require a UV map. Slapping an “object” map in blender may look fine, but taking it into another program may not give you the same results. UVing your objects are important for complete texturing control! I’m no expert, but I think I’m correct lol!
if it’s a really old system, you would only need to type commands. You’d mostly need a disc driver if anything, unless it’s built in. source: my dad works in IT
it might use some of your screen while recording a video but if you show keystrokes on the video, it would help a lot. İ am willing to watch the video on x0.25 to learn a few things
at the very start when you added lights, the shadows became much stronger, like you had some kinda...well thing...what is that? you should show that. BTW, Im new to blender, 1 week in. Trust me, there are Not many good tutorials so I think you should reconsider making them, this video gives me nothing while a real tutorial would. speaking of your view on it i mean.
Man, where I can find this menu on 2:01 which helped you modify the curve?
Hi, it's a part of the quick menu addon that I made for myself, you can find it on my discord in #qm, discord link is in the description of the video

I'm left handed and could not live without a numpad. Many lefthanders use a right handed setting but that's not my style.
