Western Playland in Sunland Park, NM, El Paso TX area. All Coasters were Open!

- June 25, 2022: This was the same day as my visit to Cliff's in Albuquerque. It's a 4-hour drive between the parks, but Western Playland having late hours allows the chance to do both on the same day. Most days, they're open evenings only, passed 10pm. I only needed a couple hours here anyway, even with a short thunderstorm delay. 3 coasters, all were open (take that Cliff's). Nothing monumental here, but it was a fun time.
I miss the old one
I never got to experience that one. There were land conflicts with both Astroworld in Houston & Bell's in Tulsa around that same time. At least this one was able to find a new home and reopen.

They are nice for a change of pace from the huge parks. I got to do 4 on that trip.
Sorry you had to deal with all that line jumping..But as they say good things come to people who wait..One thing I'm gonna say it was probably worth it.because you brought us this nice little video..I had never heard of this park and I live in texas..I'm gonna have to plan a stop on my way to California in 2023..keep on riding them rollercoasters 🎢

May I use some of this footage in a video a review for Runaway Mountain that I'm working on? I would mainly want to compare this layout with Hurricane since they are similar. I'll put your channel's name on screen, and give you full credits in the description. Great to see this footage since there's not much off-ride I can find of those models.
Yes, you can use it. I also noticed how similar the layouts are. They are both fun rides.
Hopefully I'll get over to New Mexico at some point -- I'm just not get to travel as much at the moment, and there's probably bigger parks I should hit up to maximize my time!@@OklahomaCoasterFan

I didn't ride that one, but I have done those at many other parks. They are good on the ends.

I didn't ask the park if they allow gopros on the rides, so I didn't take any povs. Storms were around, so I was in a hurry just to get on the rides.
They do lol they really dont care cause one time my cousin recorded the whole ride and We saw a girl using her phone right before Hurricane started like she was using it while the ride was bout to start
@@dgvids6000 I'm not surprised to hear that, but still so dangerous to take phone videos. I personally wouldn't be interested in taking gopro videos of these rides. They were fun, but not so mind blowing that I wanted my own gopro pov.
