Hi, fellow San Antonian here. We’ve been going to schlitterbahn for many years and grew up going there. Friendly tip, it’s easier with kids if you rent a “cabahna” for the day. They also have a convenient payment plan for it.

I am going here this summer I bring my cooler it’s cheep to bring it because you can buy stuff to make sandwiches to eat

You missed the good side of the park. That side has lots of ride the rapids not so lazy lazy rivers... they are long rides and lots of fun.. the water is river water in parts of the old side.. so you may not like it if you truly are a clean freak tho. Its a very unique park..

Do you think the fast pass would be worth it to skip the lines? & did they say why Schlitterbahn WEST was closed?
It would save you much time with the fast pass. I’m not sure what the cost is, but with the Summer crowds I can imagine the lines will be longer than the day we went. We asked an employee at the bus why the west side was closed. She said it was due to low staffing during the early season. The west side was scheduled to open the following day.

Here today. Not enough staff. Rides closed. Amy open have 2-3 hr wait. Don't waste your money or time
Must’ve had a bad experience! I’ve been there a bunch and it’s super fun! Worth it imo!
It’s fun l think u got the wrong water park the rides are fun lazy river fun to we going next month this like our 5th time going
You sould go in July where more rides are open and more staff since most of them are teenagers they go to summer school
