Nice video and informative. I did this hike last Saturday around 8pm for the first time, it was pretty cool not knowing or seeing what's next lol. My fav hike has been Bridge to Nowhere. I like this format a lot. Subscribed

Thank you so much Freddy! A comment like this makes my day!
Bridge to Nowhere is really cool. I am excited to hike Mt Baldy (Mt San Antonio) on Sunday - the tallest Mountain in LA. The hiking around here is unlimited. Thanks again and stay in touch!

@@PeterOwenFilms Give me a moment of your time lol. I moved to Rancho Cucamonga with a girl in 2011. I woke up everyday to My Baldy and I fell in love. I knew nothing about hiking. I just wanted to climb a mountain. It sounded pretty crazy so I never had anyone to go along with, I just wanted to walk up the mountain, I knew nothing about trails. Fast forward to last year, me and my girl was at San Manuel and I decided to drive up as far as I could. That's where I met a very nice lady at the ski lift. While I was up there, I realized how high I was and was in complete awe (I'm from Lynnwood, I'm use to seeing mountains but climbing them was not the thing to do lol).
So about 2 months later, I randomly found Etiwanda falls. I did it, it was fun but the hiking part was meh, the unofficial trails up further caught my attention. I came back with my 11 year old daughter and we spent about 4 hours on the unofficial trails in the rain and this is the exact day my daughter became my best friend. We did the Hollywood sign before but being that high up in the rain with no one around and we're skipping rocks, falling in the stream, climbing over trees, etc. It was amazing. That's my hiking partner. I had a plan to do My Baldy on my birthday but I'm afraid of heights lol. Mt Baldy is on my bucket list so I would very much enjoy a detailed video from you about the hike. Help a brother out. We just started in September and already reached 6 summits. I'm mostly afraid of the devil's backbone but I did Runyon in the dark so that helps my confidence. My IG is Federico_Eldebarge. I post all my hiking pics there, I plan to make this a career hobby. I'll follow back. Be safe out there.

@@PeterOwenFilms Also, I seek out trails with adventures and stories included, not just a boring trail with only walking. We want to experience stuff. I'm new to this, is this a thing in the hiking world?

@@freddyp319 I love this story! I am so glad you found hiking and have an appreciation for the beauty of nature. It's exceptional your 11 year old daughter loves it too! My dad took me to Colorado when I was young (I'm from Michigan), and while I loved the mountains, I was just not mature (or strong) enough to enjoy the hiking. As I grew older, nature just keeps calling me back.
I also love the adventure aspect of hiking. Doing something a little intense and dangerous is what I need! I will be filming my hike up Baldy. There are so many other hikes that aren't as scary. Maybe try Sandstone Peak in Malibu or Catalina Island for beautiful ocean views. The Bridge to Nowhere is cool too! I will add you!\

@@freddyp319 Yea there is definitely preferences in hikes. Some people love hiking to a waterfall... I prefer climbing a mountain because of the expansive views and sense of accomplishment getting to the top. I also love hikes where no one else is around. Desert hikes are great because they are usually sunny, no bugs, big views... It's my kinda hike :)
